August 2016 Club News Back to School pool hours will begin on Monday, August 15th. The pool will be open at 4 pm on Monday - Friday and at 11 am on the weekends. Adults and children with parents are free to swim on the weekdays prior to 4 pm but there will be no lifeguard on duty. Almost all of our guards are on a high school or college swim team and they start practice prior to starting school. You may access the pool through the gates. Gators will only be open during the weekend hours only. Food and beverage is available through the Clubhouse Grill on weekdays except Monday. Work on the deck will begin this week with the tear off. We have received the new wood and will be staining it over the next couple of weeks. The wood is called Cumaru and is a Brazilian Teak wood. It is an extremely hard wood and has a 50 year lifespan in decking. The deck will be larger on the sides with different entry points. We are still working on plans for the areas south of the Clubhouse. including the current patio and landscape. We have been receiving a lot of compliments on the staff, the food, and the events at Crestwicke. Everyone works very hard and we are happy the members are enjoying the Club. There is still a good 3 months left in the golf season and many more events to play in. We hope to see everyone Saturday at the Jimmy Buffett party!
