According to Resolution A.749, the criteria on intact stability for this ship are as followings: a) The area under the righting lever curve (GZ curve) A30 should not be less than 0,055 meter*radians up to =30 of heel and A f/40 not less than 0,09 meter*radians up to =40 or the angle of flooding f if this angle is less than 40. Additionally, the area A30 - A f/40 under the righting lever curve (GZ-curve) between the angles of heel of 30 and 40 or between 30 and f if this angle is less than 40 should not be less than 0,03 meter*radians. b) The righting lever GZ (GZ30) should be at least 0,20m at an angle of heel equal to or greater than 30. c) The maximum righting arm (GZmax) should occur at an angle of heel preferable exceeding 30 but not less than 25. d) The initial metacentric height GM 0 should not be less than 0,15m. e) Weather criteria: Area B should be equal or greater than area A. Coefficient K=B/A should be equal or greater than 1 (see next page). 2
