Players chosen to participate in this camp have been selected either through their performance at the 2016 Wide Bay 11 12 years School R.L. Trials (Bundaberg), their performance at the State Invitational Carnival (Ipswich), or identified as athletes who may possess the necessary skills, physique, commitment and determination to play future representative rugby league. The aim of this camp is to not only improve and develop your daughter s rugby league skills under the guidance of a number of Wide Bay s leading schoolgirls and club coaches, but also enable various District and WB coaches to identify potential District, WB and Queensland representative players; and give guidance to these players while still at an early period in their rugby league development. The Emerging Talent Camp is seen as the beginning of the early identification of potential representative players and is the initial stage of the further monitoring of these players development and progress throughout their junior rugby league career. It is hoped that all invited players (whether or not they intended to play school or club rugby league), would accept this rare opportunity to participate in this camp, not only to develop their own individual skills, but also aid WB in developing strong and competitive teams for the future. It must be stressed that if your daughter does not accept this invitation, they will not be disadvantaged in their bid for future representative selection. This camp however, has the potential to be a positive and rewarding experience for both the player and the relevant District and Wide Bay coaches. PLEASE NO CASH PAYMENTS ACCOMMODATION: TRANSPORT: $70 per player Electronic Funds Transfer payable to Pialba State School to:- BSB 064-426 AC: 00090064 with a reference of Surname of child and U12 Rugby Camp Alternatively you are able to contact Pialba State School on 4197 7777 and pay by card over the phone or drop into our administration office to pay by card in person. All players will be accommodated at Pialba State School. Full toilet and shower facilities will be available, however players are requested to bring a sleeping bag, airbed/small mattress (if available), and pillow. Players will be sleeping on the floor. Players will be fully supervised at all times. All players are strongly encouraged to stay overnight at camp (including the Hervey Bay players), to help promote and develop team spirit and co-operation. If these arrangements cause concern, please contact MICHAEL HUTCHINSON by email: mhutc66@eq.edu.au as soon as possible. Private transport will be required. A list of other invited players from your District may be included to enable car-pooling to be organised. A number of extra players will be invited at a later date.

PLAYER CAMP REQUIREMENTS: Training Gear - 1or 2 pair sandshoes - 1 pair football boots - 4 football shorts - 4 pair football socks - 4 jerseys or old shirts for training - any relevant safety equipment normally worn by the player for training or during a game, eg. headgear, mouthguard etc. - sunscreen - players must provide their own strapping, however strappers will be available. - togs and towel Overnight Gear - sleeping attire - Sleeping bag, airbed/small mattress (if available), pillow and blanket - Toiletries / 2 towels - clean clothes for nights and going home - Garbage bag for dirty gear - Plate / Bowl / Cup / Knife / Fork GAME No1/No2: Please note a full game will be played on MONDAY afternoon & TUESDAY morning. This game will be played under Mod rules and the Safe Play Code. Players will require any playing and protective gear normally worn as this game will be treated as a full trial match not a muck around game. Parents/spectators are welcome to attend. FORMS: Players are required to BRING medical / permission form to camp. All players will receive a Wide Bay Schoolgirls Rugby League Emerging Talent Camp hat. Players will not be permitted to participate if the medical / permission form is not received at the beginning of camp. CAMP ACCEPTANCE:
