MEDIA GUIDE 15. 17. 9. 2017 LAST INFORMATION 1. ACCREDITATION OFFICE / REGATTA CASH DESK The Accreditation Office / Regatta Cash Desk 1 is situated in the administration building 19 near 200 m mark. Here you will get all necessary documents for your team. The accreditation Office is open from Tuesday till Thursday. Opening time: Tuesday 8:00-12:30 13:30-15:30 Wednesday 8:00-12:30 13:30-19:00 Thursday 8.00-12:00 15:00-19:00 Please, send us the passport copies of your athletes in advance. Mail to: makovickova@canoeracice.com 2. ACCREDITATION CARDS All participants need accreditation cards for the areas of the regatta course with restricted access. The passes have different numbers which designate the special allowance. 3. TEAM LEADER MEETING & CREW CHANGE The team leader meeting will take place at Conference room next to the Accreditation Office. 1 It starts on Thursday, September 14 th, 2017, at 13:00 At the beginning of the team leader meeting you will get the actual preliminary program and the complete program for all heats will be available. It will be shown also at our website www.canoeracice.com All Crew Change forms must be submitted to the team info centre before the Draw deadline is Thursday, September 14 th, at 10:00, and to the Competition office after the Draw. The forms must be signed by the team manager.
4. INFORMATION DESK The information desk 12 for the team leaders is situated in the Athletes Area. For every team a pigeon-hole is available, where start lists, daily programs, specific information for the team and results can be kept by team leader only during the days of competition. MEDIA GUIDE 5. STORAGE OF BOATS When your boat transport arrives in Racice please put the them on boat racks 9 at Athletes Area. After having unloaded the trailers you have to park them on designated parking 18 please see the map of the venue. 6. CHANGING ROOMS AND SHOWER ROOMS Participants not staying at Racice venue will have the changing rooms 13 and all participants can access the shower rooms. 7. TRAINING AT THE REGATTA COURSE DURING THE COMPETITION The athletes are kindly requested to use for training the return channel or a part of regatta course above races at 500 or 1000 m respectively. To approach the start please use the return channel only. 8. TESTING OF STARTING SYSTEM Testing can be done on Thursday, September 14 th on 1000 m line between 16:00 17:00. 9. BOAT START NUMBERS & BOTTLED WATER This number can be collected one hour before start time of each event in the booth 11 at the Athletes area. No body numbers will be used. The bottled water for teams in competition days will be provided at the same place. We kindly ask that only team leader will pick up. Please note that all tap water at the venue is drinkable. 10. BOAT CONTROL According to the ICF rules there will be boat controls after each race. They will take place near the finishingline tower 20. The team leaders are asked to take care that the requested boats immediately move to the checkpoint. They will be requested by speaker s call. You can use pre race boat scale 14 in the Athletes Area which will be opened every day from Wednesday, September 13 th, from 9:00 till 17:00. 11. VICTORY CEREMONY The victory ceremony will take place in front of the grandstands 6. The team leaders will be responsible for their athletes coming to this ceremony immediately after the race, wearing national suits. All athletes, which are not just in time, are excluded from the ceremony. 12. DOPING CONTROL There can be doping controls carried out. 13. TRANSPORT The shuttle bus lines will be operating on a regular basis between the regatta course and the official hotels starting Thursday, September 14 th. RECEPTION For the reception you will get the personal invitation during the accreditation. It will take place at the conference room of Administrattion building on Friday, September 15 th at 19:00. 16. ACCREDITATION FEE The fee will be charged from Tuesday, September 12 th through September 17 th to all accredited participants. 17. INTERNET There is a free wifi connection in the Athletes Area and the Grandstands. 18. BIKE RIDING During the training days (Tuesday Thursday) biking is allowed on both side of the venue and on the island, on competition days (Friday Sunday) only on the island. 19. VENUE OPENING & CLOSING TIME Opening at 6:00, closing at 21:00 from Tuesday till Sunday, September 12 17 th, 2017. 20. MEDICAL CENTRE The medical centre 3 will start operating from Tuesday, September 12 th and will be open half an hour before the first and half an hour after the last race. 21. CAMPING AND CARAVAN CAMPING We regret but there is no possibility for camping or caravan camping in the venue area. Overnight staying at the Visitors Parking Lot 16 is strictly forbidden.
