1 ACROBATICS It is a team sport that is integrated into a choreographic composition through different acrobatics figures. It integrates three elements: 1. To build body figures, those require strength, flexibility and balance. 2. Make from one figure to another. 3. Integrate elements of dance, jumps, spins and choreography components that make it artistic. THE PARTICIPANTS There are 3 kinds of : 1. The Base (El Portor): that is the basis that makes the holding. You must provide stability, security and confidence to one who that one that is holding. 2. The Agile (el Ágil): The person who is smaller or lighter, and has more balance, determinatio precision in their movements. 3. The Assistant (el Ayudante): a person of great importance. Helps at any time, corrects defects in the standings, gives security to the agile, guides you in your support and is in constant communication with group members. BODY POSITIONS The most common are: FOR THE PORTOR: - STANDING (de pié): Separating the feet increases support base, and to gain stability can slightly bend your knees or lean on a colleague. - ON ALL FOURS (cuatro apoyos): Your knees should be directly under your hips, and your wrists directly under your shoulders. The back should be straight, not bent or extended, so that you don t hurt yourself and to facilitate the work of the agile. Knees and feet should be separated. - FACE UP (boca arriba): It is essential that your lower back touch the ground, so that you should contract your abs.

2 TO THE AGIL: - THE RIGHT SUPPORT: When the base is on all fours, support the line joining the shoulders, or on the hips (pelvic girdle). Never in the middle of the spine. - THE RIGHT POSITION: the agile should be placed in the proper position. The agile should focus on their lower back, so it does not deform or hurt, and make sure the support points are suitable. - USE OF COMUNICATION AND HELP: Security first! Talking and care is the key! Communication is important to equally divide weight on the base and throughout the position to achieve a successful figure.

3 HANDGRIPS HAND TO HAND OR SIMPLE ARM- ARM HAND- WRISTLE TWEEZER HAND- FOOT PLATFORM PHASES IN BUILDING FIGURES 1ª CONSTRUCTION: bases first, then agile in collaboration with assistants, and finally the assistants take their positions. 2ª STABILITY: the position should be maintained for at least 3 seconds. 3ª UNDOING: Figure should be disposed in the reverse order that has been built.
