Interview with the Dancers Workshop Reported by Lucy Bodtman Hello, my name is Lucy! I m from Miss Jennifer s Creative Dance Center. If you re looking for a fun way to express the way you feel, dancing is the way to go. Dancing here is like dancing in the clouds. Here in the Dancers Workshop I have asked everyone (including Miss Jennifer) What is your favorite dance ever? Mirror Image Dancers Workshop Members Lucy Bodtman Melanie Bodtman Abigail Boyce Rebecca Emken Helena McGowan Sonia Nicholson Lily Shepherd Helena said her favorite dance is the Holiday Light Dance we did at the Winter Celebration of Dance Performance. Melanie s favorite dance is The Grinch, also from the holiday performance. Sonia said it would have to be the Rope Dance which is part of this year s friendship theme in Dancers Workshop. Rebecca s favorite is the Ugly Bug Ball which was performed last year. Lily s favorite dance is the Sun Set dance. Abby s is the Holiday Light Dance. Miss Jennifer s favorite dances through the years from the Dancers Workshop are the Fire on High Dance, Keep on Breathing, and the Friendship Dance. She said there were too many to name them all. My favorite dances are Fire on High, the Ugly Bug Ball, and the Glow in the Dark Hand Dance. We have done many more performances that I will tell you about another time. I would like to tell you about the people who have danced with us for a long time! Lucy (me), Lily, Abby, Helena, Bella, Celia, Sylvia, Sonia, Hazel, Natalie, Rebecca, Melanie, Melanie B., Abby B., Bridget, Jillian, and many others What did we spell? *The Dancers Workshop is a performing company of young people who share a love of dance and a desire to bring the art of creative dance to the community.
