Make sure insallaion conforms o all applicable Local, Sae, and Federal Codes, Rules, and Regulaions; such as Sae and Federal OSHA Regulaions and Elecrical Codes. I undersand ha insalling a jack on cracked or defecive concree could cause jack failure resuling in personal injury or deah. I undersand ha a level floor is required for proper insallaion and level lifing. I undersand ha I am responsible if my floor is of quesionable slope and ha I will be responsible for all charges relaed o pouring a new level concree slab if required and any charges. I will assume full responsibiliy for he concree floor and condiion hereof, now or laer, where he above equipmen model is o be insalled. Failure o follow Danger, Warning, and Cauion insrucions may lead o serious personal injury or deah o operaor or bysander or damage o propery. BEFORE YOU BEGIN RECEIVING YOUR SHIPMENT The shipmen should be horoughly inspeced as soon as i is received. NOTIFY THE CARRIER AT ONCE if any hidden loss or damage is discovered afer receip and reques he carrier o make an inspecion. IT IS DIFFICULT TO COLLECT FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE AFTER YOU HAVE GIVEN THE CARRIER A CLEAR RECEIPT. File your claim wih he carrier promply. Suppor your claim wih copies of he bill of lading, freigh bill, invoice, and phoographs, if available.

Do no aemp o insall his QuickJack if you have never been rained on basic vehicle jack insallaion procedures. Never aemp o lif componens wihou proper lifing ools such as forklifs or cranes. Say clear of any moving pars ha may fall and cause injury. When using your garage equipmen, basic safey precauions should always be followed, including he following: 1. Read and undersand all insrucions and all safey warnings before operaing jack. 2. Care mus be aken as burns can occur from ouching ho pars. 3. DO NOT operae equipmen wih a damaged cord or hose or if he equipmen has been dropped or damaged unil i has been examined by a qualified service person. 4. DO NOT le a cord hang over he edge of he able, bench, or couner or come in conac wih ho manifolds or moving fan blades. 5. Care should be aken o arrange he cord and hose so ha i will no be ripped over or pulled. 6. Adequae venilaion should be provided when working on operaing inernal combusion engines. 7. Keep hair, loose clohing, fingers, and all pars of body away from moving pars. Keep fee clear of jack when lowering. Avoid pinch poins. 8. Use only as described in his manual. Use only manufacurer s recommended aachmens. 9. ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY GLASSES. Everyday eyeglasses only have impac resisan lenses, hey are no safey glasses. 10. Consider work environmen. Keep work area clean. Cluered work areas invie injuries. Keep areas well li. 11. Only rained operaors should operae his jack. All non-rained personnel should be kep away from he work area. Never le non-rained personnel come in conac wih, or operae jack. 12. Clear area if vehicle is in danger of falling. 13. ALWAYS make sure he safeies are engaged before aemping o work on or near a vehicle. 14. MAINTAIN WITH CARE. Keep jack clean for beer and safer performance. Follow manual for proper lubricaion and mainenance insrucions. Keep conrol handles and/or buons dry, clean and free from grease and oil. 15. Check for damaged pars. Check for alignmen of moving pars, breakage of pars or any condiion ha may affec operaion of jack. Do no use jack if any componen is broken or damaged. 16. NEVER remove safey relaed componens from he jack. Do no use jack if safey relaed componens are missing or damaged. 17. STAY ALERT. Use common sense and wach wha you are doing. Remember, SAFETY FIRST. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS BODILY HARM AND VOID PRODUCT WARRANTY. MANUFACTURER WILL ASSUME NO LIABILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, RESULTING FROM IMPROPER INSTALLATION OR USE OF THIS PRODUCT. PLEASE READ ENTIRE MANUAL PRIOR TO INSTALLATION STEP 1 Selecing Sie Before insalling your new jack, check he following: 1. JACK LOCATION: Always make sure ha adequae space is available for insallaion. Your new QuickJack is shipped in wo boxes. Approximae dimensions are shown below. STEP 3 Unpacking 1. Afer choosing he area of insallaion, open packaging and remove he frames, handles, hoses and power uni. 2. Place he QuickJack frames near work area. 2. OVERHEAD OBSTRUCTIONS: The area where he jack will be locaed should be free of any overhead obsrucions such as heaers, building suppors, elecrical lines ec. 3. DEFECTIVE FLOOR: Visually inspec he sie where he jack is o be insalled and check for defecive concree or asphal. STEP 2 Floor Requiremens STEP 4 Insalling Cylinder Fiings 1. Remove he shipping plugs from he hydraulic cylinders as shown below. FLOOR DO NOT MUST POSITION BE DRY, JACK FLAT, FRAMES LEVEL AND IN THE COMPACT PATH AND OF HAVE A VEHICLE A MINIMUM OR DRIVE COMPRESSIVE OVER JACK STRENGTH FRAMES. OF PERSONAL 500 PSI. A INJURY, LEVEL PRODUCT FLOOR IS REQUIRED OR PROPERTY FOR PROPER INSTALLATION DAMAGE MAY AND RESULT. LEVEL LIFTING. This jack mus be insalled on a solid level area wih no more han 3 of slope. Failure o do so could cause personal injury or deah. 7

2. Insall he 90º O-ring fiings and posiion he fiings a 10 o clock. 2. Wrap he hreads on he wo air inflaion valves wih Teflon ape. When applying ape, wrap i hree imes in direcion shown below. 3. Using a wrench, secure he fiing nu. 3. Carefully hread each air inflaion valve ino each air bole cylinder as shown. NOTE: I is srongly recommended ha valve cores be sared by hand o minimize cross-hreading. STEP 5 Insalling Inflaion Valves Appropriae procedures mus be employed for effecive assembly of he air inflaion valve locaed on each air bole cylinder. Insallaion orque and cleanliness should be addressed when insalling. 1. Using a hex key wrench, remove shipping plugs from boh air bole cylinders. 4. Genly ighen each inflaion valve. EXCESS PACKING OIL MAY RELEASE FROM THE AIR BOTTLE CYLINDER. AVOID CONTACT WITH HYDRAULIC FLUIDS. USE PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. IF HYDRAULIC FLUID COMES IN CONTACT WITH EYES, GETS INTO THE BLOODSTREAM OR IS SWALLOWED, PLEASE CONSULT A DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY. 8

STEP 6 Pressurizing Air Bole Cylinders 1. IMPORTANT: Make sure lif frames are in he fully lowered posiion during he following procedures. 2. Remove dus cap from each air inflaion valve. 6. Replace dus caps. The dus cap on each inflaion valve helps o reain air. If he valve does no have a cap, he air bole cylinders may deflae noiceably sooner. 3. If he valve hasn been opened for a while, use a valve ool o release a shor hiss of air o check valve for proper operaion and o drain any accumulaed oil. Holding he valve open deflaes he air bole cylinder. 4. Using a pump or air compressor, inflae each air bole cylinder o 50-PSI. Pull he connecor off quickly parallel o he valve o minimize air loss. STEP 7 Power Uni Assembly 1. IMPORTANT: Moun he Power Uni o carrier using faseners and spacer as shown in illusraion below. 5. Press he air pressure gauge evenly ono he valve sem and record he reading given. If here is a hissing sound, he gauge is no igh or even enough for an accurae reading. DO NOT EXCEED 50-PSI. 9

2. Remove proecive shipping plugs from boh power uni pors. 6. Insall male quick-connec fiing o lower double-male fiing. 3. Locae boh double-male O-ring fiings, hen wrap Teflon ape on pipe hreads only - NOT O-RING SIDE. 7. Securely ighen fiing. 4. Place one double-male O-ring fiing in he lower por, wih he O-ring facing inward. 8. Repea same seps for he upper por. Boh fiings should be insalled as shown in he images below. 5. STEP 8 Filling Power Uni Reservoir STEP 9 Preparing Hoses DURING THE START-UP PROCEDURE OBSERVE ALL OPERATING COMPONENTS AND CHECK FOR PROPER INSTALLATION AND ADJUSTMENT. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RAISE A LOAD UNTIL A THORUGH OP- ERATIONAL CHECK HAS BEEN COMPLETED. 1. Remove complee oil reservoir fill cap and screw nu assembly using an adjusable wrench. READ THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO CONNECT HOSES TO QUICKJACK AND POWER UNIT. 1. Remove proecive caps from hreaded fiings on boh ends of Twin Hose Assembly. 2. Remove cap and place in a non-conaminaed area. 2. Wrap he hreads wih Teflon ape. When applying ape, wrap i hree imes in direcion shown below. 3. Fill he reservoir wih approximaely 2 quars of auomaic ransmission fluid. Make sure he funnel used o fill he power uni oil reservoir is clean. 3. Insall female quick-connec fiing ono hreaded end. 4. Replace oil fill cap assembly and ighen firmly. 11

4. Securely ighen female fiing as shown below. 8. Locae he wo remaining male quick-connec fiings and aach o Shor Leader Hoses as shown below. 5. Repea same procedure for ALL four hose ends, as shown in he image below. 9. Connec boh Shor Leader Hoses o each hydraulic cylinder. 6. Locae boh Shor Leader Hoses and remove proecive caps from hreaded fiings. 7. Wrap hreaded ends wih Teflon ape a leas hree imes. Tape should be wrapped in direcion shown below. 10. Roue Shor Leader Hoses under frame ends making sure hey are clear from any pinch poins. 12

STEP 10 Jack Preparaion 1. Place boh QuickJack frames on a sable floor surface wih boh lock bars posiioned ouwards as illusraed below. VISUALLY CHECK QUICK-CONNECT FITTINGS FOR CORRODING, CRACKING, DAMAGE OR EXCESSIVE WEAR. IF ANY OF THESE CONDITIONS EXIST, THE QUICK-CONNECT FITTINGS MUST BE REPLACED. 4. TO CONNECT: Insall he male fiing ino he female fiing. Full connecion is made when he ball release sleeve slides forward on he female fiing. TO DISCONNECT: Hold he male fiing hen rerac he sleeve on he female fiing unil he fiings disconnec. 2. Check for proper ension on he safey lock bar reaining nus. The safey lock bars should remain uprigh in he sowed posiion during normal use. They should be manually engaged when required. 5. For AC Power Unis connec direcly o a 110-vol power source. 3. Remove any dir, scales, chips or any foreign debris from your quick-connec fiings o avoid conaminaion or malfuncion of he equipmen. 6. For DC Power Unis connec he 12-vol negaive source o he negaive erminal and he 12-vol posiive power source o he posiive erminal. See below images or follow insrucions accompanying he uni. 13

7. Make sure he power uni oil reservoir is full wih 2 quars of auomaic ransmission fluid 8. Loosen Breaher Screw ven before use by urning knob couner-clockwise. NOTE: Breaher ven should be ighened for ranspor and shipping only. 11. Cycle he jack up and down a few imes o approximaely half he lifing heigh, ensuring proper operaion. 12. Engage safey bars and lower jack ono safeies by depressing he DOWN buon. Check boh safey lock bars for proper operaion before proceeding. STEP 11 Bleeding he Cylinders 9. Check air pressure in he air bole cylinders. Make sure boh regiser 50-PSI. DO NOT EXCEED 50-PSI. NOTE: The following procedures are only necessary if he jack frames are raising and lowering unevenly. 1. BLEEDING AIR FROM HYDRAULIC SYSTEM. Raise QuickJack approximaely half lifing heigh and hen slighly loosen bleeder screw o release air from hydraulic sysem. 10. Tes he Power Uni by pressing he UP buon. If he moor sounds like i is operaing properly, raise jacks half way and check all hose connecions for leaks. If he moor ges ho or sounds irregular, sop and check all elecrical connecions. 14

2. Filling: Press he UP buon on he power uni pendan conrol o slowly fill he hydraulic cylinders wih oil; air and oil will exi. Quick Frame Handles are easily insalled by simply lifing he jack frames and placing he end channel underneah he frame ubes as shown below. 3. Bleeding: The air has been compleely removed from he hydraulic cylinder if he oil exis wihou bubbles. 4. Closing: Tighen he hex socke bleed screw using a hexagon wrench o close and creae a igh seal. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. OUTSIDE IN: In his mehod, he QuickJack frames are posiioned wide enough for vehicle enry. Quick Frame Handles are ypically no required. DO NOT drive over hydraulic hose. See below. STEP 12 Operaion and Use TO AVOID PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, REVIEW THE INSTRUCTIONS. GET FAMILIAR WITH OPERATOR CONTROLS BY RUNNING THE JACKS THROUGH A FEW CYCLES BEFORE LOADING VEHICLE ON QUICKJACK. ALWAYS LIFT THE VEHICLE USING ALL FOUR RUBBER LIFT BLOCKS. NEVER RAISE JUST ONE END, ONE CORNER OR ONE SIDE OF VEHICLE AT A TIME. There are wo mehods of using he QuickJack when raising vehicles; INSIDE OUT and OUTSIDE IN. IMPORTANT NOTE: Before loading, boh jack frames mus be fully lowered and working area cleared of any obsrucion before vehicle is brough ino posiion. DO NOT drive on or ride vehicles over jack frames a any ime. 1. Posiion four Rubber Lif Blocks in he receiver rays as shown below. INSIDE OUT: In his mehod, he QuickJack frames are posiioned direcly adjacen each oher while he vehicle rolls over ino posiion. Quick Frame Handles are ypically required. See below. 15 IMPORTANT NOTE: Do no aemp o lif any load on he upper frame rail. Use Rubber Lif Blocks only. Rubber Lif Blocks mus only be placed in he receiver rays.

2. Wih vehicle in ready posiion, place each jack frame under he vehicle making sure o posiion he Rubber Lif Blocks a he facory recommended jacking poins. Ensure vehicle is posiioned wih he cener-of-balance placed midway on he jack frames. IF THE SPECIFIC VEHICLE LIFT POINTS ARE NOT IDENTIFIED OR IF THE VEHICLE HAS ADDITIONAL OR UNIQUELY POSITIONED PAYLOAD, HAVE A QUALIFIED PERSON CALCULATE THE VEHICLE CENTER OF GRAVITY OR HAVE THE VEHICLE CENTER OF GRAVITY DETERMINED AT A VEHICLE SCALE. TYPICAL JACKING POINTS Always lif a vehicle according o he manufacurers recommended lifing poins. Typical vehicle jacking poins are illusraed below. MAKE SURE VEHICLE IS NEITHER FRONT NOR REAR HEAVY AND SELECT THE PROPER CONFIGURATION FOR THE VEHICLE TO BE LIFTED AS SHOWN BELOW. CENTER OF BALANCE SHOULD BE MIDWAY BETWEEN RUBBER LIFTING BLOCKS AND CENTERED OVER THE JACK FRAMES. TO RAISE JACK FRAMES 1. Before raising vehicle, be sure all personnel are clear of he surrounding area. 2. Pay careful aenion o overhead clearances - sand clear a all imes. 16

ALWAYS MAKE SURE QUICKJACK FRAMES ARE PARALLEL WITHIN 2 AND ALIGNED EVENLY FRONT AND BACK AS SHOWN IN THE DIAGRAM. FAILURE TO DO SO COULD CAUSE QUICKJACK FRAMES TO BECOME UNSTABLE AND NOT REST SQUARELY ON FLOOR SURFACE. When ready, raise vehicle keeping he UP buon coninuously depressed unil ires clear he floor and he jack frames are a leas 12 off he ground or he firs safey lock posiion has been reached. 2 1 ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE SAFETIES ARE ENGAGED BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO WORK ON OR NEAR A VEHICLE. 5. Coninue o raise o desired heigh only if vehicle is secure on lif. Keep hair, loose clohing, fingers, and all pars of body away from moving pars. Keep fee clear of jack when lowering. Avoid pinch poins. DO NOT GO NEAR OR UNDER A RAISED VEHICLE IF ALL FOUR RUBBER LIFTING BLOCKS ARE NOT IN SECURE CONTACT WITH VEHICLE. IMMEDIATELY CLEAR AREA IF VEHICLE IS IN DANGER OF FALLING. TO LOWER JACK FRAMES 6. Operae he UP conrol unil each jack plaform reaches eiher he low locking posiion or high locking posiion. 7. Raise vehicle o desired locking posiion, hen ensure boh safey lock bars (#1) are fully engaged in heir respecive receiver (#2) before nearing elevaed vehicle. STAY ALERT. Use common sense and wach wha you are doing. Remember, SAFETY FIRST. 1. Ensure ha load is firmly posiioned and secured on jack frames. 2. Operae he UP conrol unil safey lock bars are clear. 3. Raise and sow he safey lock bars. 4. Sand clear of vehicle and jack frames. 5. Operae he DOWN conrol unil boh he jack frames are lowered compleely o he floor. 6. Using he uiliy handles, remove he jack frames from underneah he vehicle. 7. DO NOT drive or ride vehicles over jack frames a any ime. IMPORTANT NOTE: Before removing vehicle, boh jack frames mus be fully lowered and working area cleared of any obsrucion before vehicle is brough ino posiion. If using ape, rim any loose ends o preven ape from enering he hydraulic sysem. Care mus be aken o ensure ha ape or hread sealan does no ener he hydraulic sysem. Tape or hread sealan in he fluid will impair fluid flow causing sysem malfuncion. Never exceed he raed capaciy. Inspec enire uni and all faseners horoughly before each use. Do no operae his equipmen if any componen is found o be missing, defecive or worn. Never operae his equipmen wih any person in close proximiy. Always ensure load is cenered and secure on each jack frame prior o operaion. When lowering, pay careful aenion ha all personnel and objecs are kep clear. Always keep a visual line of sie on vehicle and jack frames during operaion. Always sand clear when uni is in operaion. Never leave uni in an elevaed posiion unless boh safey lock bars are fully engaged. Keep all body pars and objecs away from hinge or pinch poins when uni is in moion. Floor surface mus be dry, fla, level and compac and have a minimum compressive srengh of 500 PSI. Always wear durable work clohing during insallaion and operaion. Loose fiing clohing should be avoided. Visually confirm ha boh safey lock bars are engaged before nearing elevaed vehicle. DO NOT work under an elevaed vehicle unless properly raed vehicle jack sands are used and placed under he facory approved jacking poins. 19

ALWAYS make sure lif frames are parallel wihin 2 and aligned evenly fron and back. Failure o do so could cause lif frames o become unsable and no res squarely on floor surface. DO NOT leave he conrols while he jack is sill in moion. DO NOT sand direcly in fron of he vehicle or in he bay when vehicle is being loaded ino posiion. DO NOT go near vehicle or aemp o work on he vehicle when being raised or lowered. REMAIN CLEAR of jack when raising or lowering vehicle. DO NOT rock he vehicle while on he jack or remove any heavy componen from vehicle ha may cause excessive weigh shif. DO NOT lower he vehicle unil people, maerials, and ools are clear. ALWAYS ENSURE ha he safeies are engaged before any aemp is made o work on or near vehicle. Some vehicle mainenance and repair aciviies may cause he vehicle o shif. Follow he manufacurer s guidelines when performing hese operaions. The use of jack sands or alernae lif poins may be required when compleing some repairs. READ AND UNDERSTAND all safey warning procedures before operaing jack. KEEP HANDS AND FEET CLEAR. Remove hands and fee from any moving pars. Keep fee clear of jack when lowering. Avoid pinch poins.
