Your attendance at the NWMHC s three AMHA-approved shows in 2017. We are noted for sponsoring the largest and most successful shows in the AMHA and hope many of you will take advantage of the fellowship provided at these venues. Membership in the NWMHC is open to ALL persons who are interested in the miniature horse breed. You do not have to own or show a miniature to enjoy the camaraderie of being a part of our Club. TOKENS OR RIBBONS When you go to receive your placing in each class, you may choose to take a token instead of a ribbon which can be redeemed for.50 each. Or you may donate your tokens to the Youth or Gelding Funds. The Club saves on ribbons and you have a little extra cash.

All horses must be measured and qualify for their height and/or age classification to receive an entry number and compete. All measuring will take place on the show grounds. GR- 020-G Permanent Measurement card. If you have a permanent measurement card for a horse 60 months or older you may present the card with the horse and that measurement will be recorded as the measurement for that horse. Please note that measurement may still be protested under GR-050-C. ALL BLANKETS MUST BE REMOVED FROM THE HORSE BEFORE MEASURING. Measuring will take place at the following times. Friday April 28-3:00 to 7:00 PM Saturday April 29-7:00 to 7:30 AM Exhibitors requesting height measurements at times other than specified above will be required to report to the show office, pay a $20 late measurement fee (per horse) and obtain a measurement authorization prior to being measured or issued an entry number. STABLING Stalls, whether occupied by horses, feed, or tack, will be available at $60.00 each for the weekend, which begins Friday noon and runs through Sunday. If exhibitors intend to arrive on the grounds earlier or stay later beyond Sunday evening and need to use stalls, special arrangements can be made. You may bring your own shavings. Anyone wishing to be stalled next to each other MUST list names on their entry blank. Entries must be received by closing date of show to guarantee stalls being together. Stalls MUST be paid for at the time reservations are made. There will be no refunds on stalls unless show management asks you to give up a stall due to a shortage or notice is given to the show manager prior to the first class of the show and NWMHC does not incur the cost of the stall. If all stalls are reserved prior to receiving your reservation, show management will attempt to notify you of this situation by phone prior to the show. No horse may be stabled in a horse trailer or any other vehicle/trailer used to haul a horse at any NWMHC show.
