sariclapperton@hotmail.com Show will be conducted under USEF/USDF rules unless otherwise noted by show management. CLASS FEES: $20 PER CLASS ENTRIES: Make checks payable to WOODBINE FARMS LLC. Send entries with a copy of current coggins (needed only once for the series), signed entry/ release and check. Entries must be postmarked on or before the closing date (10 days prior to the show). Entries are on a first come first served basis until the show is full or the closing date whichever comes first. Entries postmarked after the closing date will be assessed a $15 post entry fee PER CLASS if there is available space. No entry will be accepted without a negative coggins, signature and full payment. Mail entries to: Woodbine Farm 9976 W Liberty Road Chelsea, MI 48118 STABLING: Stalls $55.00 stabling in the main barn or show barn. Shavings available for purchase at $8.00 per bag. NO HAY OR GRAIN AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE SHOW GROUNDS. Stalls will be assigned on a first requested first pay basis. Stalls will be available at NOON on the Saturday prior to the show. All horses showing from trailers will be charged at $20/ day haul in fee. Non Showing horses are $35 per show. REFUNDS: There will be NO refunds for any reason after the closing date. Before closing date, full refunds minus the $25 office/emt fee. DOGS: All dogs must be on a 6ft or shorter leash and attached to a responsible person at all times. No dogs allowed in the observation room. AWARDS: Ribbons 1 st -6 th place: Champion and Reserve for high percentage test in each division with at least 3 entries. Series Grand and Reserve Championships awarded in each division at the conclusion of the summer. Year end awards are determined by averaging the 2 highest tests (from 2 different shows) from each rider. Must attend 3 of 5 summer shows to qualify. DRESSAGE TESTS: The 2015 USEF/ USDF dressage tests, 2014 USEF Eventing tests, and 2013 Western Dressage Tests will be used. All tests may be read. Horses may be shown in only 2 consecutive levels. Example: Intro and Training level or Training and First level, etc. COMBINING/SPLITTING OF TESTS: Tests will be combined or split based on number of entries for each level ie: Open, JR/YR, Adult Amateur. If you do not indicate your level on your entry form you will automatically be entered as OPEN.
NOVICE: Novice rider- any rider in their 1 st or 2 nd year of showing, may only show in this class for 2 years maximum on any horse. Novice horse- any horse in its 1 st or 2 nd year of showing with any rider, may only show in this class for 2 years maximum. JR/YR: anyone who has not reached the age of 21 prior to December 1, 2014. HEADGEAR: DR 120.6. From the time horses are officially admitted to the competition grounds by competition management, anyone mounted on a horse at any time on the competition grounds, including non-competing riders, riders on non-competing horses, mounted participants in exhibition classes and those competing in all classes and tests, including Para-Equestrian tests, must wear protective headgear as defined by this rule and otherwise in compliance with GR801. Any rider violating this rule at any time must immediately be prohibited from further riding until such headgear is properly in place. Protective headgear is defined as a riding helmet which meets or exceeds ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials)/SEI (Safety Equipment Institute) standards for equestrian use and carries the SEI tag. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. Unless jackets are waived, while in the competition ring, exhibitors wearing protective headgear must wear a short, dark jacket, dark tailcoat (only permitted for tests above Fourth Level), or Armed Services or police uniform (if eligible), dark hat covers (where applicable) and must otherwise conform to DR120 (see GR801). ATTIRE: DR120.5 Riders in classes and tests at all levels in Level 1 Competitions, and riders in Opportunity classes in Level 2 and Level 3 Competitions may compete wearing breeches and shirts of any color as permitted in DR120.8. Jackets or vests of any type are allowed but not required and neckwear may be worn only if the rider chooses to compete in a riding jacket. Boots and protective headgear are required as specified in DR120.1-6. RIDE TIMES: Ride times will be available by 9AM the Thursday prior to the show. Any special needs regarding ride times MUST be indicated on your entry form, we will do our best to accommodate them when possible. After ride times are posted, there will be no changes.
