PORTFOLIO
MADE BY FEW Made by Few was a conference conceived five years ago to inspire designers, developers, creatives, and entrepreneurs, up until last year, the conference had been taken place in Little Rock. I was asked to design a poster around their philosophy, work when others are resting. Taken from my personal experience as a creative we work late and under pressure, but we love what we do, and we pride ourselves in creating great work with a purpose. And most of us like cats, and booze.

BEARD THE BEARS Baptist Health sponsors a football game every year at University of Central Arkansas. Because it was in November we presented two concepts: Beard the Bears (for Novembeard) and Bear Down on Hunger (for Hunger Awareness Month). The client chose Beard the Bears for its millenial appeal. I created several bear drawings based on the University s mascot, while focusing on keeping with brand standards for Baptist Health s Keep on Amazing campaign and University of Central Arkansas Bears.

LITTLE ROCK FILM FESTIVAL Every year, my agency creates a new theme for the LRFF. Filmmakers from all over the country were welcomed to submit their film. My Creative Director and I came up with this concept of the Arkansas River flowing with film strips, with a few bridges over it, a typical scene you can see from downtown Little Rock. Using the collage technique we created the poster, passes, and banners.

BOOK COVER SERIES I am an avid reader, I love books, but I am guity of judging a book by its cover. As a personal project, I decided to pick a few stories that I enjoy and design covers for them. I designed these books to have double covers with a separate dust jacket apart from the main cover. The dust jackets are die cut and have similar but different images than the leather cover. The purpose of this is to give a hint to the story and make the reader want to find out what happens by reading the book.
DRAPLIN BOX SET Aaron Draplin is one of my design heroes, so as an exercise, I have made a special edition box set, as if he was a famous musician. I tried to imagine what he would put in his own box (patches, t-shirt, CD of his favorite songs, things that are important to him, etc.), what the box itself would look like. If you know of Draplin, you ll know that he always dresses like a truck driver, his designs are clean, straightforward, simple but very effective. So I thought a tool box would be perfect for him.
PRINTMAKING & ILLUSTRATION When I am not working, I still draw in my sketchbook almost every night. Some of these little sketches later become woodcut prints. I often print my work at a local letterpress shop, in return I help around the shop, be it printing, brainstorming, or designing posters. I love working with my hands, it s a nice break from the computer screen, so I spend a lot of weekends at the shop.
HELLRAISER This is a small drawing I did of my cat, she s a fierce cat, I thought adding a third eye would be appropriate. I decided to tranfer the drawing into linoleum, carve it out and print it at the shop. These prints are currently being sold at a local shop.
RECYCLE BIKES FOR KIDS Recycle Bikes for Kids is a non-profit group in Little Rock, they collect old bicycles, fix them up and give them to children who need them. They asked the letterpress shop to design a poster for a fund raising event, we only had one weekend to get it done, I designed the poster, hand carved the bike and helped with printing. We got it done in time and the event was a success.
FIVE STAGES OF GRIEF This is a series of five woodcuts I did to explore the Five Stages of Grief. They all started out as drawings, I experimented with different animals to find the most suitable one for each emotion. These prints have been exhibited at shows in Fort Smith and Little Rock, Arkansas.
