SCMC Has Its First Event at Ted Russell Ford There were all sorts of cool Fords at the event which sported 50 show participants. The SCMC had its first SVT, Mustang, and Ford show at Ted Russell Ford in Knoxville, Tennessee, on October 4, 2003. It was a great day for a show, a little on the cool side in the morning and somewhat overcast but the results were very impressive for our first show in Knoxville, TN. (Our Cobras were lined up for the We had 15 SVT Cobras at the show and a host of Mustangs and Fords. We also had a surprise from the local AC Cobra Club who attended the event with 8 cars. (Stuffing goodie bags is easy when you do it as a group. Everyone made a game out of it) It all started with a club dinner at a local Italian restaurant on Friday evening. Lots of good conversation and teasing at the table was the order for the night. Afterwards we went back to the hotel to stuff goodie bags for Saturday's show. (We had several older Mustangs at the (We had our show tent set up and ready to go) (Lots of great stories are told at car shows) (Amber Rockwell, Binky Dangerfield, and Crystal Lorah did a top- notch job handling registration) (There were several fox bodied Mustangs and Lightnings at the show) (We had lots of spectators at the show; several Cobra owner on-lookers joined the club)
