I agree to conduct myself as a lady at all times and abide by the pageant rules and regulations set by the Little Miss Cape Fear High School committee. I understand that if my parents or anyone else in the audience behave in a disrespectful manner, he or she will be removed immediately from the pageant premises and will not be allowed to return. Guidelines/Rules Eligibility: All contestants must attend a Cape Fear High School District feeder school and in grades K-8. Application Deadline: LMCF pageant applications along with all money (entry fee, sponsor, ad info, good luck ads) and a headshot photo for the program all are due back by than Tuesday, January 31, 2017 no later than 4PM, no exceptions. We will only accept the first 20 entries received per age group with completed applications, headshot photo and monies paid. Make all checks payable to: Cape Fear High School PTA. Please return all required forms, monies and headshot photo to Mrs. Bristley in the main office at Cape Fear High School. Fees: Required entry fee for each contestant is $40 as well as a minimum of (1) sponsor of $10. There will be an award for the contestant with the most sponsors. Ad sales are $25 for ¼ page, $50 for ½ page and $100 for a full page. Advertisement and Good Luck Ads: Ads can be for businesses, family, friends or good luck wishes. Contestant pictures can be placed on the ads as well. Please have ad ready as it should appear in the program. There will be an award for the contestant with the most money for the Ads. Pageant Attire: Tiny: Grades K-2 and Little: Grades 3-5 will be Sunday Best dress attire. Pageant dresses are not acceptable for these age groups. Natural style is encouraged, so minimal make-up and no pageant hair styles. The judges will be instructed to deduct points from the contestants that are inappropriate. Junior: Grades 6-8 will be Pageant dress attire. *Please use your best judgement in choosing the attire for your daughter to wear on stage. Interest Meeting: Interest meeting will be held in the Cape Fear High School cafeteria on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 6PM. Required Meeting/Rehearsal: The first meeting will be held in the Cape Fear High School cafeteria on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 6PM for parents and contestants. The contestant numbers will be drawn at this meeting. Pageant rehearsal practice will be on Monday, February 6, 2017 from 5PM to 7PM and Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 5PM to 7PM held in the Cape Fear High School Auditorium. Please bring the shoes that the contestant will be wearing in the pageant, so they can practice walking on stage in them. No cameras or taking photos with any device allowed during practice. The Little Miss Cape Fear High School Pageant will be on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 6PM in the Cape Fear High School Auditorium.
