Approximately 24 matches per year are played. Below U11, players are divided into development and initiative groups. Rangers F.C. Coach Development Jaon and Jamil attended an international coaching education tour as part of the VYSA State ODP Staff The coaching staff incorporates a blend of full and part time coaches from the U8 U16 age groups. In the older age groups, full time coaches are in place. Coaches rotate every year or so. Each coach is required to have Scottish Football Association (SFA) or UEFA approved coaching licenses, and the license requirements increase as the playing groups increase in age. Rangers follow a curriculum that enables a style consistent with the Rangers first team approach. The first team strategy builds from the back, plays through the middle, and is direct as needed. This is consistent with the needs of RFC and Scotland, and incorporates current trends, such as Germany, as needed. Introduction Team and player selection follows a set of tactical and technical expectations for each position, and is supported by performance metrics specific to the responsibilities of each position 17
