Surrey Storm Fastpitch Uniform Policy All uniforms issued are the property of the Surrey Storm Fastpitch Association. A playing uniform will not be issued to a Storm athlete until that individual s registration fee has been collected. Players Dress Code: The playing uniform for Storm A & B consists of: One (1) white coloured jersey One (1) black coloured jersey One (1) teal belt Two (2) pair black socks Black ball pants The Playing uniform for Storm C U12 and up consists of: One jersey One matching shorts * Player sliding shorts will be black in colour if worn. The Playing uniform for Storm C U6 U10 consists of: One t-shirt Players in all divisions have the option of wearing a solid black base layer, short or long sleeve. Coaches dress code: Coaches uniform consists of black shorts or pants (not supplied) and matching tops black in color. Each team will be issued clothing for on field coaches and assistants (maximum of 3) consisting of: Two (2) black polo shirts 021814 Page 1 of 5
Replacement clothing will be issued as required (i.e. every 2 year period) **At no time will a Player or Coaches uniform be worn outside of a scheduled game or tournament, i.e. not to be worn during fall ball league (unless as a full Storm team entered), practices, etc. However you may wear the uniform for Team Events, fundraising, helping other teams, photo day. Sizing and allocation of Numbered Jerseys Teams will be sized by SSFA uniform coordinator, once teams are sized the Surrey Storm Fastpitch Association (SSFA) uniform coordinator will make decisions about assignments of jerseys. SSFA makes no commitment to players, parents or coaches with respect to numbers. Warm up wear should not be ordered until the jersey numbers are assigned by SSFA, unless numbers are not being added to warm up wear. SSFA are not responsible for issues arising from misaligned numbers for teams that have pre-existing numbers or order new warm up wear before assignment of jerseys. Wear & Tear SSFA expects the jerseys to last 5+ years and expects that minor damage and wear will occur as a normal part of play. Players & parents must take reasonable care to ensure jerseys in their possession are cared for appropriately. Newly assigned jerseys found with abnormal wear and damage should be reported to the uniform coordinator immediately. Jerseys found to have been abused or cared for in a negligent manner may result in the uniform deposit cheque being cashed (mustard stains etc.). Pants are subject to significant wear. SSFA will only provide one set of pants to players on 1 st year teams. Ongoing pant requirements for players joining established teams are the players responsibility. Expectations All members of each team must be properly dressed on the playing field, shirts tucked in. This means every player on the field must have the same identical uniform in colour, trim and style including hats where applicable. Storm Rep - A & B Divisions Expectations - Home & Away Jersey association supplied - must be returned at end of season in good condition - Base layer (black - player provided) - Black ball pants supplied for 1 st year teams, established teams are player supplied - Pants not to be returned at end of season, teams can repurpose themselves - Teal belt association provided - must be returned at end of season in good condition - Socks black association supplied - Helmet (Shutt two tone custom) - player provided - must have Storm decal, K2 decal, Canadian flag (association provided). 021814 Page 2 of 5

This bag is the property of Storm and must be returned to the team coach at the end of the season. Coach / Manager responsible for ensuring they are returned. House - C Division Expectations Players will be permitted to use what they already have (helmets/cleats), however SSFA asks that any new purchases be in compliance with the standards. House - C Division ages U6 U10 Expectations - Teams will be given Storm T-shirts for Jerseys - players keep t-shirt at end of season -If the full team can be fitted in smaller sized (old) Storm jerseys, they will be provided instead of t-shirts and must be returned at the end of the season -Helmets - any colour acceptable, however, if buying new, please only buy black - Storm decal optional, no other decaling is allowed -Pants or shorts - black player provided House - C Division U12 and up Expectations - Association supplied home or away jersey (old style Storm jersey) with matching shorts - both must be returned at end of season - If the team cannot be fitted with the old style Storm shorts, black shorts are allowed. - It is the Teams decision if they want to wear black ball pants and the purchases of these pants are the players responsibility and belong to the player. - If pants are decided Teal Belts are optional and the players responsibility - Undershirts - black only - player provided - Black socks - player supplied - Helmets - plain black player provided - Storm decal optional - team decision; no other decaling - Alternate colours acceptable however, SSFA asks that any newly purchased helmets be black. - Cleats - predominately black - player provided - alternate colours acceptable, however, SSFA asks that any newly purchased cleats be black 021814 Page 3 of 5

Uniform Return Uniforms must be returned clean and in good condition no later than August 15 th unless a team is attending Nationals. Failure to return a playing uniform will result in a players uniform deposit cheque being cashed. Fan Wear Teams, Coaches and Fans are encouraged to purchase team wear and fan wear provided they are purchased through an authorized supplier using the approved Storm logo as approved by the Surrey Storm Executive.
