Tacktick Wireless Instruments

The wireless revolution has already begun Across the globe, sailors and boat owners are experiencing the benefits of Tacktick s groundbreaking Micronet wireless and solar power technology. Regardless of the type of boat, Tacktick s wireless system makes getting the information you need simple Freedom is wireless Besides giving you versatility, Tacktick displays are unique. They are wireless, solar powered and use Micronet technology, which means: Reliability Wiring failures cause 80% of electronic faults, proving that wires and water don t mix. Omitting the wires instantly reduces the potential for leakage and breaks in data and power supply. Self-powering Tacktick displays are solar powered with integrated lithium batteries that power the unit for life. Power consumption is so efficient that units can run autonomously for up to 300 hours. Portability Using clip-in cradles, your displays can be placed anywhere on your boat, allowing you to view the information where and when you need it. Easy installation A typical installation can be done in just a few hours, with your rig in place and your boat still in the water. And there s no need for holes in the bulkhead or wires down the mast. Lightweight The elimination of wires in the mast not only reduces spar weight but also lowers the boat s centre of gravity, giving significant and immediate performance advantage. Waterproof All our products are sealed for life and completely waterproof (submersible to 10m). This also means no condensation. Groundbreaking Micronet wireless and solar power technology

Tacktick Racing Products Micronet Wireless Displays Tacktick racing displays receive and display data wirelessly from Hull and transmitters, including polar data, true wind speed and angle, VMG and compass heading. Data is compatible with tactical racing software on your PC via the Wireless Interface and has performance pages for you to upload to. Dynamic damping control compensates for sea state, giving you the fastest possible response rate, including compensating wind data from the effects of mast rotation. "Delivering precise data where you need it and when you need it." T222 Wireless Vertical Transmitter A unique wind wand that provides highly accurate readings for TWS and TWA by reducing errors from disturbed wind flow by elevating the wind sensor 1.05m (approx 3.5 feet) into cleaner air. It is also completely wireless and solar powered. T210 Multifunctional Wireless Maxi Display A large, solar-powered mast display for racing yachts that provides highly visible and accurate data. Massive 50mm (2") digits. Unique racing functions: Automatic page selection. The Auto Leg function allows the display to automatically show the right information for each leg of the course. Page hiding. Customise the display to show only the data options required minimising the time it takes to select the information you want. Maximized performance. The displays have an innovative Start Line feature, Line Bias, Shift and Timer functions together with indicators for acceleration and speed trend. Tidal waters. The Set, Drift, Turn and Course to Steer functions will give you the edge by helping you to spot tides. T215 Multifunctional Wireless Dual Maxi Display Displays two lines of data in high contrast 32mm (1.3") digits. Excellent visibility by day. High contrast LCD and a wide angle of view. Excellent visibility by night. The black background ensures minimal night vision disturbance and a choice of red or amber digits allows you to select different colors for different data. Remote control. Your Maxi can be controlled and configured from anywhere on your boat using the Tacktick Remote Display. Free format data pages. Allows PC navigation and race software to write directly to Tacktick displays. Excellent visibility by night. Amber or red. Added features: Data is processed, sampled and analysed at 8 Hz. Tack to tack correction for off-centre-line speed transducer installations. Speed trim, acceleration and trend indication. Lightweight Reliable Portable

Tacktick Racing Multi-Hulls Advanced Transmitting Technology With Tacktick s advanced transmitting technology, you can link your various transducers to the Hull Transmitter which sends the information to the Micronet Displays via a wireless link. It can be conveniently sited anywhere on the boat. Tacktick Racing Keel and Sports Boats Master Series Designed specifically for keel and sports boats to provide critical and tactical race information that will give you the edge. T121 Hull Transmitter With a Tacktick system, you no longer have to rely on a mercury switch to ensure your displays talk to the Hull Transducer in the water. Instead, Tacktick s advanced Micronet technology allows your displays to use wind direction to automatically determine which hull transducer supplies the information you need. *Note: you need two Hull Transmitters for this configuration. T070 Race Master The ultimate race compass, wind shift indicator and race timer. Its two-tier display shows your heading, how far you re above or below the mean course, and how much you re being headed or lifted. It will enable you to quickly and easily establish the favored end of the start line, and will help you sail the shortest distance to the windward mark. Downwind, you can see how far off dead downwind you are and when you should gybe for optimal VMG. T221 Mast Rotation Transmitter This unique Mast Rotation Transmitter compensates for movement of a rotating mast, ensuring you always get the most accurate wind readings. This wireless device compares compass information from the boat with its own information and corrects the wind angle coming from a standard or vertical Tacktick Transmitter on the masthead. Easily installed on the mast, and simply calibrated from a display. T075 Multifunctional Race Master System The Micronet Race Master offers you all of the benefits of the Race Master but can also be integrated with Micronet transmitters to provide additional tactical racing information, such as boat speed, depth, wind direction and GPS data. The Micronet Remote Display can be added to the system to provide information at your fingertips or to change the data on the main display. Self Powering Solar Technology Simple to Install

Tacktick Racing Dinghies The world s leading digital compass for dinghies If you race dinghies, you know that you need to react to even the smallest wind shifts. The Micro Compass gives you all the data you require by incorporating a compass, tactical scale and race timer into one compact package. Mean Direction Mean Direction veers backs backs veers veers backs backs Without Micro Compass With Micro Compass T060 Micro Compass The Tacktick Micro Compass gives you a massive racing advantage. It is light, easy to read, reliable and precise. The Micro Compass s tactical scale gives you clear stable figures corresponding on port and starboard tack. Whilst tacking, the readings are always the same, meaning you never have to remember numbers. PHOTO: JOE MCCARTHY Easy to read Reliable Precise Choice of Champions

Tacktick for Cruising Relaxed, out at sea nowhere you d rather be When cruising in the open ocean, your peace of mind depends on having accurate and visible data. Tacktick products provide all this in a system designed to be completely flexible. They are simple to install (it takes roughly an hour to install a Transmitter, Hull Transmitter and all your displays) with no large holes to drill in your bulkhead or wires to thread down your mast. And as wiring causes 80% of failures in conventional instruments, Tacktick s wireless technology also means absolute reliability. Tacktick Cruising Products Micronet Wireless Cruising Displays Tacktick cruising displays receive and display data, such as speed, depth, wind, SOG and XTE, wirelessly from any Micronet transmitter. Being wireless, Tacktick displays can be positioned wherever you need them on the boat, and they can be easily removed and safely locked away when not in use.
