EVENT DETAILS The event shall be known as SPEEDFLOW Drift Series 2018, consisting of 4 Rounds. The event will be a Drift event consisting of Single and Multi-Car Drift Competition. The actions of driving a vehicle in a series of controlled slides throughout a pre-determined circuit, maintaining a standard of control which is judged against pre-set criteria This venue complies with regulations laid down by the local Council that mandates Noise Regulations. Gate Entry - Spectators $10 per person Saturday $15 per person Saturday & Sunday (Under 12 yrs of age, free of charge) Passenger/Camping/Spectator (Weekend admission) $50 per person Entry Forms Available on Website www.raleighraceway.com.au The Indemnity Form must be signed at Check-In On Arrival and Check-In, Passengers and Pit Crew will be issued with bands, these are to be worn on the wrist and visible to Grid Marshall at all times Insurance All Drivers, Passengers and Pit Crew MUST SIGN the Raleigh Raceway Indemnity Form prior to entering the circuit Drivers Briefing Compulsary Drivers Briefing will be conducted at 8.30 am both days of competition and where ever applicable as stated in the Timetable Drivers to assemble on the Grid area if wet will be conducted near the workshop Driver Benefits Raleigh Raceway will be making available a hoist/workshop for use by drivers when required, there will be a small fee for this service Minimum requirements for Vehicles Safety Harnesses or Lap Sash Seat Belts Must be complete units and stamped with a Standard Roll Cages Protective padding will be fitted where the helmet of an occupant could come Into contact with the safety cage structure Open Vehicles Roll Cage is mandatory and must meet FIA/CAMS specifications Noise Levels This venue complies with regulations set down by the local Council that mandates noise regulations 94 Dba or under at 10 metres - 45 angle approx 5000 rpm Tow Hooks Tow Hooks will be Mandatory for 2018, to be fitted front and rear, to be accessible by pick-up staff ie. Not under car where staff have to be on ground to get to them Fire Extinguishers Fire Extinguishers will be Mandatory in all cars in 2018 To be in date and fixed securely with nuts and bolts To be fitted within reach of the driver when seat belt is on Muffler (a) The vehicle must be fitted with exhausts and muffler(s) that by design reduces the exhaust sound pressure level of the specific vehicle, to within the approved limit (94 Dba @ 10 metres Note: A catalytic converter or resonator such as hot dog or open chamber cannon is not acceptable as a muffler. A muffler, even if a straight-through design is considered any chamber with noise reducing packing material. Exhausts must run past the front doors (driver & passenger). Exhaust outlet/s must not be higher than the sill panels and with no protrusion (b) Cars with excessive noise levels will be required to comply with proof of muffler modifications prior to entry of circuit (c) Noise Level testing will be conducted prior to 9 am in the grid area, the testing may be conducted throughout the day No Oil Leaks Battery must be secured Speedflow Drift Series 2018 Supplementary Regulations Page 5

Cars found in contradiction to the Rules are instantly disqualified from the Series Ineligible for any points or winnings if disqualified Minimum Requirements for Drivers and Passengers (a) Helmets to comply with AS1698 or NZS2006 with Australian Standard Sticker (b) Clothing must be fire-resistant material NO Nylon. Clothing to go from ankles to wrist to throat (c) Enclosed Footwear (d) No Limbs to protrude from vehicle (e) All passengers to be 16 years and over Parent/Guardian aged 18 years to sign in 16 to 18 year olds (f) All drivers and passengers to be below.02 blood alcohol limit (g) All drivers and passengers will receive wrist band on signing Indemnity Form, these must be shown to Grid Marshall/Official upon request and before entering the circuit (No swapping bands between drivers and passenger// will result in harsh action from officials Note: Any driver found to have a passenger in his vehicle who has not signed the relevant paperwork will be disqualified from the event, this is due to Insurance requirements for Raleigh Raceway Swapping of bands will incur the same penalty Speedflow Drift Series 2018 Supplementary Regulations Page 6

Lights Please find below a description of the lights that will be operating COLOUR USED FOR LOCATION Green Start Drift Zone Up hill approx. 30 metres Left Hand Side Eyesight of Drivers Green Pit Exit Tyre Wall Right Hand Side Red Stop All Locations Yellow Flashing End Drift Zone Tyre wall centre track RH side straight after chicane Red/Yellow Flashing All cars return to pits All Locations - End of Session Scrutineering Scrutineering from 7 am Saturday & Sunday Self Scrutineering Form supplied to Drivers at Check-in to be filled out and signed prior to Scrutineering All cars to be in Grid Area - 45 angle (as shown Drift Circuit Map) ready for Scrutineer Should a car not meet requirements it will be recommended by the Scrutineer what is needed to have the car passed, should the car still not meet requirements then it will be excluded from the event All loose items to be removed from the vehicle Fire Extinguishers in the correct position (Refer Car requirements for correct placement) NOISE LEVELS MUST NOT EXCEED 94 Dba @ 10 METRES 45 ANGLE (as per Local Council) Alcohol During any event, consumption of alcohol in the pit area is not permitted. Passengers/Drivers are required not to exceed 0.02 blood alcohol limit Vehicle Breakdown Tow Hooks are Mandatory in 2018 Vehicles will have visible Tow Hooks Front and Rear (capable of accepting a 40mm OD cylindrical test object) fitted forward of the front axle and rearwards of the rear axle And capable of towing the vehicle on a sealed surface with its wheels locked No persons shall be allowed on the circuit to assist a driver without consent form a Raceway official. Unauthorised people may incur the driver to be excluded from the Competition/Practice Session Do not attempt to repair the vehicle, your car will be recovered as soon as practical Minor repairs allowed in NO DRIFT ZONE Drivers not to exit the vehicle whilst in the Drift Zone should it be a case of safety Drivers are to leave their helmets on and seek protection behind the closest tyre barrier when safe to do so Paddock Area Basic Driver Camping Only No Spectator Private Cars or Camping NO used tyres to be left in this area drivers are responsible to take them of the premises Maximum speed 10 kph at all times All Trailers to be placed in designated area Grid Area Authorised Persons Only Maximum speed 10 kph at all times Children under the age of 16 years strictly no admittance NO SMOKING OR ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION permitted in this area Scrutineering of Vehicles Speedflow Drift Series 2018 Supplementary Regulations Page 7

Elimination Battles Top 32 To qualify for the Top 32, both PRO and AM will be given 3 Qualifying sessions, to be judged and a pointscore allocated The drivers with the highest scores from 1 to 32 will progress to the Top 32, should there be even points with Driver pointscore it will revert back to the highest score on the drivers last qualifying session. The Top 32 will then be an elimination battle to Top 16 to Top 8 until 1 st, 2 nd, 3 rd & 4 th positions are determined. Note: Should there be less than 32 cars in a Class, it will be determined on the day how the Elimination will be conducted The Top 8 Requirements When Drivers have left the Grid for their Top 8 Battles NO Vehicle changes will be permitted. Breakdown or Tyre Change will have the 5 Minute Rule enforced, at the discretion of the Judges.
