Introducing Blyth Catamarans Blyth Catamarans based in Essex specialises in the design and build of GRP catamarans for commercial operators across a wide range of different industries. The company designs and builds customised boats, working closely alongside clients to develop and deliver a boat unique to their individual needs whether it be for charter angling, diving, commercial fishing, passenger carrying, crew transfer or survey work. Workcats have given excellent service in a wide variety of uses and environments. The new 18m carries on the Blyth tradition. Blyth Catamarans have been building boats for more than 20 years and supplied vessels all over the world from the Falkland Islands to Dubai, Australia to Gibraltar and has established an enviable reputation within the industry for suppliers of stable, sea-kindly, value-for-money boats that get the job done. Blyth Catamarans has its own 'in-house' technical department enabling the company to tailor an existing, proven, design to meet specific customer needs. The in house technical team also works closely with naval architect consultants to achieve approval to Standards Authorities such as MCA, Seafish, Irish Transport Department and the Belgium Maritime Inspectorate. The company employs a highly skilled, vastly experienced workforce and is proud to have achieved accreditation to ISO 9001, ensuring every boat is built to the highest possible standards. ISO 9001 Accreditation Blyth Catamarans strives to make constant improvements to all aspects of the business. This is because we at Blyth understand that the product can only be as good as the service and without excellent after sales support, customer service and proper administrative processes in place the product will never achieve the excellence that is deserves. To this extent Blyth Catamarans achieved ISO 9001 accreditation in 2016. This ensures that we continue to listen to our customers and continue to improve the support we give. Environment To achieve the highest quality product only the best materials should be used. This is why Blyth Catamarans only buy materials that are fully certified. All batch numbers and certificates for GRP and resins are stored against the boat they are used on. The environment in which the boats are constructed is tightly controlled and monitored. The temperature and humidity is constantly recorded and the data is stored in the vessels technical file and also sent to the certification authorities for approval. Blyth Catamarans strives for the highest quality end product. To achieve this as many of the components are made in house as possible. This includes nearly all of the metal work which is produced on site by our experienced fabricators. All other components are purchased from reputable manufacturers and distributors.
Work Force Blyth Catamarans is very proud of its highly skilled and very experienced workforce. Its engineers, electricians, fit out personnel and moulders are all to thank for the excellent high quality builds that Blyth is renowned for. Blyth also has its own in house technical team allowing the boats to be tailored and designed to each of our client's requirements whilst understanding the need to keep to a budget. Blyth Catamarans works closely with Naval Architect consultants to ensure certification to the relevant standards. Blyth 33 & 36 The Blyth 33 has proven itself time and time again with a design that has been perfected over time. Very popular with the charter angling/fishing market this Blyth cat provides outstanding sea keeping abilities for a vessel of its size as well as a large working deck area which is customisable for all your requirements whether it's line fishing, potting, charter angling or survey work. This build is available as a complete boat or in a kit form. Blyth Catamarans has built on the success of the Blyth 33 to create the Blyth 36 with the first Blyth 36 launched in June 2012 as a sightseeing vessel for disabled and elderly passengers. Ideal for dive boats and patrol vessels this adaptable craft is also very successful in the wind farm market. Blyth 15m Multi Role Survey Vessel Based on Blyth's reputation for survey vessels, this new 15m build can carry 12+2 passengers and can reach a max speed of 22 knots and is powered by two IVECO C9 550hp engines. The design also gives exceptional manoeuvrability both at low and high speed and also in deep or shallow water. 'Egidora' has been constructed to comply with BG Verkehr classification as she is built to operate under German Flag. The large rear deck features a moon pool fitted with a hydraulic retractable hydrodynamic gondola; designed to house a high grade multibeam echo sounder system. The vessel has a hydraulic deck winch which when combined with the hydraulic A-Frame, which allows for the safe launch and recovery of geophysical equipment.

The Blyth 17m workcat is our new flagship and builds on the considerable experience and proven success that the Company has gained over the last 20 years. The existing range of 11m, 12m, 14m and 15m have given excellent service in a wide variety of uses and environments. The new 17m carries on the Blyth tradition.the Blyth 17m has been developed with choice in mind and includes tooling provision for either conventional shaft drive or water jet options. The 17m is built in a single piece mould, ensuring exceptional strength and laminate reliability Blyth s specialist composite construction is state of the art and guarantees maximum quality control. Survey Boat Harbour Boat Passenger Boat By moving the wheel house forward the 17m gains a very large aft deck space which is perfect for all the ROVs and other scientific equipment. With the addition of a moon pool with a unique multibeam deployment mechanism and a hydraulic A frame the 17m offers a choice in method in deploying and retrieving the scientific equipment. With the large wheelhouse capabilities there are options for wet labs, dry labs as well as a mess area and general crew comfort. With the option of multiple berths and the 5455 litre fuel capacity staying at sea for elongated periods of time to complete survey work is easy and comfortable. By taking the option of a small wheel house the Blyth 17m boasts a massive working deck area of just under 90m^2. With options for either enclosed or exposed seating and the possibility for a viewing platform on the wheelhouse roof. This coupled with onboard amenities the 17m passenger boat is a perfect vessel to carry passengers for either day trips such as wildlife safari or for ferry boat duties. 18

Blyth 17m High Bridge Deluxe 'Aqualink' ridge ions, ed with crew AN V8 e of nd an cabin interior is fitted to carry 10-passengers in comfort on full suspension seats. There is also a kitchen and dinette and a two-berth cabin for use during extended cruising. The Aqualink is possibly unique among vessels of this size in that it can also be chartered as a fully equipped professional survey boat. Its design includes a watertight compartment occupied by a moon pool and multi-beam sonar deployment module designed and built specifically for the vessel. There is also an A-frame davit that can be used for launching a RIB, towfish or for bottom sampling and the deployment of seabed equipment. The high bridge affords clear, allround visibility from the helm and navigation seats and also accommodates the principal survey desk that can be used for topsides electronics when on charter. 24 25
