Affiliation and Qualifiers EQUIFEST Classes 6,7,12,13,14,15,16,19,20,22,23,26,27,28,30,31,38,42,43,45,46,47 This Show is affiliated to Equifest, taking place at the East of England Showground on the 8th 12th August 2018. The two highest exhibits not already qualified in each affiliated class will qualify. Class Codes: 1. SPILLERS/EQUIFEST MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND IN HAND (Classes 19,20,22,23) Open to In Hand Mountain & Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding, any age. This class may be divided as appropriate. 2. EQUI-CHIP / EQUIFEST MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND FIRST RIDDEN (Class 46) Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies, registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest, Shetland, and Welsh A or B. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be shown in any suitable bridle. fences must be adjusted according to the heights of ponies in the class and ponies MUST jump within their correct height section. 6. RUBY MARITIME SERVICES / EQUIFEST RIDDEN SHOW PONIES (Class 42) Open Show Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 148cms. TGCA: Classes 8,27 TGCA TOYS In Hand and Ridden Classes Show Number TGCA/05/18/031 Pure Bred classes are qualifiers for the Best of Breed Finals at the Traditional Gypsy Cob Association's (TGCA) National Breed Championship Show TOYS. Classes are open to all pure bred traditional gypsy cobs. Stallions All stallions (pure or part bred, four years and over) in order to enter any TGCA affiliated class MUST have be TGCA registered, have passed TGCA evaluations and their TGCA stallion disc displayed on their bridle. Stallions and colts over the age of two, MUST be shown in a stallion bridle with a metal bit and chain lead as per the current TGCA rulebook.existing TGCA members must present their qualification card to the judge in the ring for signature. Non-members will receive a qualification card from the judge and have 21 days to join the TGCA and register their horse to validate the qualification. And will consist of a Ridden and Inhand Championship as well as the Final Overall Supreme. Qualifiers (both inhand and ridden) will be held throughout the Borders and England, during the end of 2017 and through the start of 2018. The SHPS Amateur Highland Pony Breed Championship The highest placed Highland Pony in Classes 18 and 36 will qualify. All entrants eligible for this qualification must wear a tartan armband. The Championship will take place at Onley Equestrian Centre, Rugby on July 14 th 2018. Rules as follows - All ponies must meet the Breed Standard and be fully registered with the HPS.
