If a person vomits when lying on his back, place him in the Recovery position. Oxygen or artificial respiration if needed. Do not induce vomiting. If contact with eyes occurs, wash with copious amounts of water for several minutes holding eyelids open. Take care not to rinse contaminated water into the nonaffected eye. Seek medical attention. HANDLING AND STORAGE Safe Handling: Safe Storage: Once the water is driven off the material is combustible. Avoid heat, sparks, flames and other ignition sources. Ensure ventilation is sufficient to prevent a build-up of vapour. Store in cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from sources of heat or ignition. This product should be stored away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Keep containers closed at all times and check regularly for leaks. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION National Exposure Standards: Biological Limit Values: Engineering Controls: No exposure standards have been established for this material by NOHSC. No biological limit allocated. A local and/or general exhaust ventilation system is recommended to keep employee exposures as low as possible. The use of a local ventilation system (drawing vapours/mists away from workers breathing zone) is preferred. If cured material made from this product is to be cut or sanded, ensure that the dust is kept below the Worksafe Exposure Standard for respirable dusts (10mg/m3) or the ACGIH Exposure Standard for respirable dusts (3mg/m3). Personal Wear laminated film, nitrile or other suitable gloves conforming to ASA/NZS 2161: Occupational Protection protective gloves. Suitable protective footwear, e.g. cotton overalls buttoned at neck and wrists. Equipment: Safety glasses with side shields or chemical goggles should be worn. If engineering controls are not effective in controlling airborne exposure then an approved respirator with a replaceable vapour/mist filter should be used. Reference should be made to Australian Standards AS/NZS 1715, Selection Use Specific Gravity 1.3 and Maintenance of Respiratory Protective Devices; and AS/NZS 1716, Respiratory Protective Devices, in order to make any necessary changes for individual circumstances.
