Kempner Student Body and Faculty Clothes pins, student council members, beauty week T-Shirts, Sticky Notes, student body. Beauty Week is a week long activity to spread love and pride within your school. The first day is "Bum Day" where every student is encouraged to wear sweat pants and t- shirts to school to explain how you can be beautiful by wearing anything. The next day students cover the bathroom mirrors with inpiring messges like "You are beautiful" or "You're lookin' good today, cutie!" to explain to others that always looking in the mirror to try to make yourself look pretty is unnecessary. Everyone is beautiful in their own way. The next two days is considered "Pinning" days in which you write enouraging messages on clothes pins, like the bathroom messages, and try to clip as many people as you can during the day. When people get clipped with the clothes pins, many people randomly find the pins and smile. Those students, in return, use the same clip to put on other people to spread the love around the student body. The last day, or Friday, is "No Make-Up Friday" in which girls are encouraged to not wear make-up the whole day. The boys participate on this day by wearing "You don't need make-up to be beautiful. You are Unique" shirts that are sold in pervious weeks.
