Come to an informational Lunch time meeting on Wednesday, May 16 th in M109 Attention sustainability minded students! Interested in helping Windsor become greener? A local community group is working toward zero waste in Windsor for the Town Green events this summer. If you would like to have fun, help protect our environment, and make a difference, volunteer opportunities are available for the Thursday night concert series and more. Seniors in the Class of 2019 have the potential to do their senior project with one of the county s most passionate environmentalists. Contact Ms. Johnson in room P104 or email sjohnson@wusd.org Current Juniors who wish to start their Senior Project during the summer must get core and mentor approval before the end of THIS school year with a signed Senior Project Form A. Volunteer hours do NOT count until you have your Form A approved. Talk to your core teachers NOW if you will be arranging a summer Senior Project. Students, please remember to renew your work permit for the summer. Don t wait until the last minute! See Kathy Funkhouser in the attendance office before the end of the school year. Three more weeks until Graduation and the Project Grad Party is on Saturday, June 2 nd, 9:30 PM -4:30 AM. Seniors Do you have your ticket and contract? Make sure your friends get theirs in too! Pick up a contract in the office or register online at the project grad website: windsorhighprojectgrad.org We have been planning the entertainment, games, prizes, food and fun for 9 months so that you can make some great memories and celebrate one last time with your friends. Scholarships may still be available, see your counselor or assistant principal. Parents: How do we put on such a great party? By asking for the help of 300 volunteers between June 1-3. Jobs are listed on http://bit.ly/whsvolunteersignup It sounds crazy to volunteer when we are usually in bed, but it is worth it when you see how much fun the kids have and realize it is a special opportunity to be a positive factor in the lives of teens and keep them alive to see the sun rise. We are asking for a few hours of your help! PAY IT FORWARD! We prefer that parents of Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors work shifts setting up and on the night of the event (June 2 nd ). That allows Senior Parents to enjoy their special moment with their graduating Senior. We have many duties to fill and won t turn anyone away that wants to help. If our time slots don t fit your schedule, let us know and we ll make it work for you. Send an email to: windsorprojectgrad@gmail.com SignUpGenius will send you notifications to remind you of your commitment.

Seniors, the end of the year survey is now open and can be found under the ABOUT ME tab in your Naviance account. Look for Class of 2018 Senior Exit Survey.
