ZAF / ZAFE TECHNICAL DRAWINGS ZAF THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY ANALYSER ZAFE THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY ANALYSER MEASURING PRINCIPAL The analysers determine gas concentrations by using reference and measuring chambers. Both chambers have heated platinum wires within them; when the composition of the gas in the measuring chamber changes, the temperature and electrical resistance of the platinum wire also changes, this change allowing the analysers to determine the change of the measured gas concentration. The analyser then uses the reference chamber to crosscheck the measurement. 16
