Attention all BCHS Athletes Sports Physical Clinic Our dates and times have been finalized for the 2017 Sports Physical Clinics at Primary Plus Bracken Co. Office. Our first session will be on Thursday June 22nd from 8:30-11:30am, and the second will be on Thursday July 20th from 3-7pm. The cost for these will be $15 per player. We will have physical forms on hand, but if the players could bring them already filled out that will speed
up the process. If a patient is under the age of 18, and their legal guardian cannot accompany them, we will need a note stating we are able to treat the patient. The providers have also asked that the students wear loose fitting bottoms or shorts to make the exam easier. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me by email, or at 606-756-2117.
Congratulations to Mr. Sam Elsbernd being named Girls Varsity Basketball Coach for the 2017 2018 season.

Miscellaneous Information If a student wants to take their permit to drive, they must come to the office and get a permit paper that must be signed by the guardian/parent and a school administrator. Please do by Wednesday if you are going on a Friday. Bad grades and poor attendance can keep this from happening. Important fact: All sport participates need a physical. To the Class of 2017: Today is a very big day for each of you. It is an exciting day, a scary day, and a day you will never forget. I am so proud of each of you. I have been so blessed to know each of you personally. The best part of my job is that I get to have contact with all of you at some point in your four years at BCHS. Many of you I will never see again. Many of you will leave this area and fulfill your dreams. Others I will see around the county, at sports events and you might even stop by the school sometime. Thanks to social media I can stay in touch and watch what is going on in your life. For me today is a sad day. I am so excited for you. But it is a loss for me. I become so involved in your lives that when that bond is over it is truly sad for me. I hope I made some kind of impact on your life as well. Thank you for letting me share your four years at BCHS. I will never forget. May God bless you and be Happy! Enjoy what you do. Love, Ms. Thornsbury
