COUPE DU QUÉBEC DE KARTING 2015 Round # 1 St-Roch-de-L Achigan May 10 th SUPPLEMENTARY REGULATION Club de karting SRA *** Note : In case of difference between the English and French version, French must prevail. 1. DEFINITION This event is part of the 2015 Québec Championship calendar. This event will be run under 2015 regulation of ASN Canada-FIA, 2015 Rotax Max Challenge regulation, 2015 Karting Québec regulation and this supplemental regulation. Karting Québec sanctions this event. The classes participating in the event are: 1. Rotax Micro-MAX 5. Rotax DD2 2. Rotax Mini-MAX 6. Rotax DD2 Masters 3. Rotax MAX Junior 7. Briggs & Stratton Senior 4. Rotax MAX 8. Briggs & Stratton Masters/Heavy For each class, a minimum of six competitors is requested on the starting grid. If the starting grid has less than six competitors, organizers may authorize the race. 2. TRACK St-Roch de L Achigan Coming from South, take Highway 25 North and Exit # 38 Armand-Majeau and follow the blue tourist signage. Coming from North, take Highway 25 South and Exit #41 Ruisseau des Anges Sud. At the stop sign, turn left and follow the blue tourist signage. The length of the track is 1234 meters and the event will be held CLOCKWISE. Each paddock spot is numbered and the dimensions are approximately 6 m X 8 m (approx. 20 X 25 ). You must get a paddock number from the organizers prior your installation. Only one paddock spot is allowed per competitor. If you need an additional paddock spot, $50 will be charged per additional spots needed. All vehicle or trailer larger than the paddock must parked on the designated area. Page 1 of 6

The competitor is responsible of the cleanliness of his paddock spot, which included picking up all waste. The competitor must dispose of waste according to environmental regulations (paper, food, oil, gas, chemical products) in the designated areas. Any person who does not respect these rules can be refuse to the registration of subsequent events. Any competitor installed in, or overlapping, someone else paddock, will have to move right away, whatever the activity on track at this time. IN CASE OF NON-RESPECT OF ORGANIZERS ORDERS, THE COMPETITOR MAY BE EXCLUDED OF THE EVENT WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE ORGANIZERS. At SRA Karting, It is strictly forbidden to drive your kart in the paddocks at any time. Competitors must always bring their kart on the false grid with a trolley, IN ALL TIME, including on practice days. Paddock reservation. Competitors can reserve their paddock spot prior the event. Paddock reservation begins ONLY on Monday, from 9 am, before the event. It can be done either on site, per fax (450) 588-5622 or by e-mail at info@srakarting.com. NO RESERVATION BY PHONE IS ACCEPTED. Please bring your confirmation with you the day of the event. If your equipment (trailer, RV) is larger than normal paddock spots, please let us know in advance. An amount of $50 per additional parking spot will be charged to you. Quiet Rule: 2015 Karting Québec Sporting Regulations (sec. 13.2) applies at all time, including during practice days. It is strictly forbidden to start and run a kart engine outside the designated area located before the false-grid. All engines must enter the pre-grid area at ambient temperature. In the designated area, you may start and run your engine for a 10 second period to make sure everything is ready. It is strictly forbidden to rev-up your engine. On race day, when karts are on the pre-grid, engines may be started and run when the official gives the 1-minute signal only. Failure to respect the quiet rule by the competitor and/or team members during a practice day will result in the revocation of the practice pass without refund. Failure to respect this rule during a racing day will result in a penalty which may include the exclusion of the competitor. If an engine is started under a closed tent or in a trailer to try to hide from or to confuse the officials, all drivers under the tent or in the trailer at the time when the infraction is committed will receive the same penalty. A penalty for quiet rule violation is final and no appeal is possible. 3. ADMISSION Driver must hold a valid karting license issue by Karting Québec or any alternative karting license recognized by Karting Québec complete all the required forms (ex. Registration, waiver, technical passport self-declaration, etc) and pay the entry fees. 4. REGISTRATION Registration closes on Saturday May 9 th at 5 pm. Late registrations will be accepted on race day during the accreditation but an additional fee of twenty-five ($25) will be added to the entry fees. No registrations will be accepted after the beginning of the qualifying session. It will be possible to register online on www.srakarting.com. Watch the NEWS page to know when the online registration will be available and the procedure to follow. Entry fees are one hundred and twenty dollars ($120.00) and are payable to CKSRA cash or by cheque to Club de Karting St-Roch-de-L Achigan. A rebate of $20 is given for additional registrations for members of a same family living at the same address. If the driver doesn t have a personal transponder, he can rent one at the price of twenty dollars ($20.00). Note that CKSRA does not accept debit or credit cards. The only way to pay with a credit card or Paypal is with the electronic registration; see the details on www.srakarting.com. If we have to accommodate you and use the SRA Karting electronic payment system, an administrative fee of $5.00 will be added to your registration. All forms are available on www.srakarting.com on the Download page. If you sent them by regular mail, allow 7 days to make sure your documents arrive on time. Page 2 of 6

The registration fees must be paid in whole before the beginning of the event in which the competitor is registered. If the financial institution does not compensate the cheque, the competitor will be considered as not having participated in the event. His results will be canceled and he will have to return any trophy and prizes received. If the check covers more than one registration, the same penalty will apply for all registrations. 5. ACCREDITATION Accreditation takes place from 7:00 am to 7:30 am the day of the event. Everyone admitted on the site (officials, organizers, drivers and teammates) must sign the release (waiver) at the gate. In the case of minors (less than 18 years old), a parent or tutor must sign the release form in the name of the minor. Drivers which send their registration by mail on used the online registration and their teammates must also sign the release during the accreditation hours. 6. TECHNICAL INSPECTION Before the warm-up session, every competitor must complete and sign a TECHNICAL PASSPORT SELF-DECLARATION and give it to the technical inspector. Upon reception of the self-declaration duly filled and signed by the competitor, the technical inspector will give color sticker to the competitor. This sticker must be place on the left side of the front panel of their kart. Only karts having the color sticker will be allowed to enter the track for the warm-up session. At any moment during the event, the technical inspector can proceed to a technical inspection to assure the conformity of the self-declaration. You must foresee enough time to the technical inspector to proceed to the inspection of your equipment. If not, you will not be allowed to participate at the warm-up session. The inspector will be available from 7:15 am. If the technical inspector proceeds to an inspection of your equipment before any session, you will not be allowed to participate at this session if any element of your declaration is not conforming. If the inspection is done after a session, usual penalty will apply.. After the race, the technical inspector will inspect the kart of the top five (5) finishers. This inspection is held immediately after the competitor has passed the scale for the weight verification. ANY PERSON THAT LEAVES THE INSPECTION AREA WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION BY THE TECHNICAL INSPECTOR IS LIABLE OF DISQUALIFICATION WITHOUT NOTICE. Only the competitor and one mechanic are allowed to the technical inspection area and in the pits. 7. 7.2 Gas for all classes In all classes, commercial fuel must be used. Fuel will be controlled with the appropriate tool. For this event, the sample used is the gas sold at SRA Karting International inc. (SHELL Gold). NOTE: This gas has no ethanol and is not the same used last year. *** if you don t use the sample gas, be advised that Petro-Canada 94 or SUNOCO 94 will fail the control. 7.3 Eligible tires for the event. The new tires used for the event must be bought at the track from the organizers. If a driver wants to use a used set of tires for the event, he must have his tires marked before the first qualifying heat, according to the event schedule. 8. PRACTICES The racetrack will be available for practice on Saturday May 9 th Fees: Complete day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm : Fees $60.00 taxes included Half day, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm: Fees $45.00 taxes included Note Section 9.2 of the Karting Québec Sporting regulation applies on racing and practice days. tout à fait interdits. Des sanctions très sévères pourront être prises envers les contrevenants (pilotes) par l organisateur, le(s) commissaire(s) et/ou le Directeur de Karting Québec. Ces sanctions pourront s'étendre d'une amende à la suspension. Unofficial TRANSLATION : Art. 6.11 Circulation : Inside the paddocks or restricted areas, any vehicles such as ATV, Motorcycle, scooter, golf kart, with or without engine, including bicycle, skateboard and roller blades are strictly forbidden. Strong sanctions can be taken against offenders (drivers) by the event organizer, the event Stewart and/or Karting Québec Director. Sanction can be from a fine to a suspension. 1- Any driver caught driving his kart in the paddocks will lose his right to practice for the rest of the day, without refund. For the same safety reason and according, this rule applies for competitors, teammates and visitors. An exception is granted to persons with a handicap and to the staff of the organizer working to prepare the event. 2- Depending of the number of drivers practicing on Friday, practices will be split in groups (ex. Group 1: 4-cycle classes and Micro-Max classes; Group 2: Rotax Mini-Max and Rotax Max Junior; Group 3: Rotax Senior, Masters, DD2 and DD2 Masters. If needed, other groups can be done. Pay attention on announcements on the P.A. system and the electronic display board.. If a driver tries to go on the track in the wrong group, he may receive a penalty, from loss of practice sessions to his revocation of track access for the rest of the day, without refund. 3- During the practices, it is forbidden to any teammate to access the track when karts are running. If you have to go pick up a kart, you must wait for authorization from the track attendant. Page 6 of 6
