Masters 50 & 55 raced together. The pace the field set was high enough that breakaways were not successful and did not hold for one lap. It looked like a field sprint would be the deciding factor. But on the last lap around the 1 st bend Voytek took off, perhaps a bit soon but maybe just right. Charging down the back straight it was an all out effort. Near the Finish line Voytek in the lead, the charging field gaining, Berg, Zionts & Doering closing the gap, then Doering comes around Zionts & Berg to pass Voytek within inches of the line. Doering 1 st, Voytek 2 nd, This was the most exciting finish of the day.
