35. Pro-Shop 36. Fees, Dues and Charges 37. Lightning and Thunderstorms House Rules Definitions used in the House Rules shall be the same as used in the Rules and Regulations. 1. Food & Beverage Consumption Members are permitted in the Club to consume only food and beverages that have been provided by the Club, with the exception of baby food or drink bottles and lunch boxes brought in by school students during school activities and/or -events. Glassware, crockery and metal cutlery may not be brought into the areas of the swimming pool, Splash Park, the Sports Field, Tennis and Squash Centre, Children s Playroom, and MFH. 2. Alcoholic Beverages Alcoholic beverages will not be served to persons under 18 years of age. 3. Private Functions Bookings by Members for private gatherings, functions or parties resulting in closure of an outlet or area of the Club may be allowed at the discretion of the Club Manager. Enquiries should be made at Reception. 4. Operating Days / Hours The Operator has granted the Club Manager wide discretion over operating hours depending on Members and General Admission Pass holders expectations. Unless specifically varied by the Club Manager, the Club Facility and outlets will operate according to the times shown herein. The Club will not open on Nyepi Day in accordance with Balinese custom. 5. Damages Members are liable for any repairs or replacement of any of the Club Facility which is damaged by them, whether accidental or intentional. 6. Losses The Club is not responsible for any loss of personal belongings of Members/Member Guests. Lost and found matters should be directed to Reception. 7. Weapons Bringing firearms or weapons of any kind into the Club is strictly prohibited. 8. Under Influence Members and/or Member Guests who are under strong influence of alcohol or prohibited drugs will not be permitted to enter the Club or use the Club Facility. 9. Compliance with Club Rules The Club reserves the right to deny access to anyone who refuses to comply with the Club Rules. 10. Members Vehicles and Car Parking a) The Operator will allocate car parking space as required. The number of car parking spaces near the Clubhouse however is limited; when that carpark is full Members and Guests are expected to park their car in the carpark near the tennis centre, alongside Jalan Pantai Berawa opposite the entry gate. 2

b) The Club accepts no responsibility for Members cars or motor bikes parked in the car parks. c) The car parks will only remain open during operating hours of the Club Facility or as otherwise determined by Management. d) The maximum speed limit on Club Facility is 5 kph and Members and their Domestic Employees are required to observe this limit and all other directions and signage of the Club. e) Vehicles entering the Club Facility are not permitted to park or drive in a manner which: - obstructs fire or emergency access; or - obstructs pedestrian ways; or - disturbs the grounds or landscaping of the Club Facility. 11. Dress Code All members must observe the proper attire for specific areas of the Club Facility. Members should refer to departments for details. Unless specified otherwise, the minimum dress code for the Club Facility is casual wear, including: - collared/round neck cotton T-shirts with jeans or walking shorts - sneakers, slip-ons, rubber soled shoes - shorts, mini skirt, jeans 12 Notices The Club s official Membership bulletin board is located adjacent to the Reception. Members may post notices of a private or commercial nature only on the designated boards allocated for this purpose. All notices must be stamped and dated at Reception prior to posting. Unauthorised notices will be removed by Management. 13 Domestic Staff 13.1 Each Member may nominate one Domestic Employee as a person able to enter the Club Facility under the responsibility of such Member and subject to the Club Rules. 13.2 Management may carry out security screening of a Domestic Employee and/or refuse authorization at its sole discretion. Upon authorization, the Club will issue an entry card to such Domestic Employee which must be carried by him/her at all times whilst on the Club Facility. Failure to present a valid entry pass will subject the Domestic Employee to significant delay on entering the Club Facility and/or disbarment. Issuance of cards to Domestic Employees is subject to a charge as determined by Management. 13.3 Domestic Employees are only allowed into the Club Facility when accompanied by a Member. Domestic Employees may however accompany a Child in the absence of the Member when such Child is attending an Academy activity or other organized activity carried out by the Club. On completion of the activity, the unaccompanied Domestic Employee and Child will be required to leave the Club Facility. 13.4 Members shall be held responsible for the behavior of their Domestic Employees at the Club. The general rule is that, out of courtesy to other Members, Domestic Employees should behave discretely and carry out their duties in a low profile manner. 13.5 Only one Domestic Employee is permitted to enter the Club Facility at one time, unless one of them is a driver in which case he/she must remain in the car park area. 13.6 Unless accompanying a Child, Domestic Employees are restricted to the car park area of the Club Facility. 13.7 For security reasons, only registered Domestic Employees may enter the Club Facility and domestic employees of Member Guests and Villa Guests and other individuals temporarily in their hire (drivers etc) are prohibited from entering the Club which includes entering for the purpose of dropping off or picking up Member Guests or Villa Guests. 14. Suggestions Suggestions made by Members should be made in writing, signed, addressed to the Club Manager, and handed in at Reception. 3

15. Mobile Phones Mobile phones are permitted in all areas, except: - Gym and Aerobics Centre - Tennis courts - Multi Function Hall - Business Center Members who are causing a disturbance to other Members will be requested to make and receive calls in the open or colonnade areas. 16. Pets and Animals Under no circumstances are pets or animals of any kind to be brought into the Club Facility at any time. 17. Music Media The playing of music of any kind is not permitted within the Club Facility unless played through earphones/plugs or authorized by the Club Manager as part of an organized function. 18. Smoking Smoking is not permitted in the following areas: - Lobby and Reception - Gym and Aerobics Centre - Tennis Centre - Multi Function Hall (unless during a social event when permitted by the Club Manager) - Crèche - Business Centre - Locker rooms - Within 5m of sports activities on the Sports Field - Within 2m of the swimming pools - Playgrounds The Club reserves the right to extend the areas where smoking is not permitted as it sees fit. In any case staff, suppliers and contractors are not allowed to smoke in any area that lies within the boundaries of the Club Property. 19. PPN and Service Charges All prices and fees payable at the Club Facility are subject to prevailing Indonesian Government regulations, and a Service Charge of 5% will be added to all services charged to Members and any users of the Club facilities.. 20. Amendments The Club House Rules may be amended or updated from time to time by the Operator. 21. COD and Cashless Accounts All products and services must be paid for by the Members and any other user before they leave the Club, either in cash or by creditcard. Members who are holders of a Cashless Account that shows a positive credit balance are allowed to have their expenses charged onto their account yet must approve and sign each receipt. In case their account shows an outstanding balance, the Member will need to settle it immediately by topping up his/her Cashless Account, either in cash or by creditcard. 22. Back of the House Except with the prior permission of Management, Members may not enter the back of the house areas. 4

23. Interpretation of Club Rules In the event of any ambiguity in the interpretation of the Club Rules, the Operator s opinion on the matter shall be final. 24. Children a) Conduct The Club s mission is to cater for the needs of all Families and hence Members are encouraged to bring their Children to the Club Facility. However, in the interests of maintaining an atmosphere within the Club Facility congenial also to social and recreational activities for adults, the Club has established certain guidelines for Children within the Club Rules as set out in this section. The general guideline is that Children, except when attending the Club Facility unaccompanied during a Club organized activity, remain at all times within the responsibility of a parent Member who is expected to ensure that they act in a reasonable manner without causing undue disturbance to other Members. b) Issuance of Membership Cards The Club will on the request of a Member issue a membership card to a Child upon the Child reaching 10 years of age, whereupon the child may enter and use the Club Facility unaccompanied. c) Discretion of Management Management is granted wide powers of discretion in relation to Children in its interpretation and implementation of the Club Rules in order to preserve the interests of all Members. 25. Conduct of Persons at the Club Facility As a private members club, the Club expects a reasonable standard of behavior from all Members and guests who visit the Club Facility. Whilst it is not possible or desirable to regulate all aspects of Club life and every aspect of the Club Facility in this regard, the Operator has laid down certain guidelines which Management will use to determine whether the conduct of a Member or guests meets the standards required by the Club. The benchmarks for these are reasonableness, consideration and respect for others. Specifically, any of the following acts will be deemed as breaches of the Club Rules: a) Subjecting another Member or Staff to physical or verbal abuse which shall include use of profanity and the threat of or actual violence, and threatening, offensive or harmful conduct; b) Interrupting the operations of the Club by countermanding or questioning instructions issued to Staff by Management. c) Broadcasting and publishing, or assisting therein, any statement which could be construed in the opinion of the Operator as detrimental to the reputation of the Club, including its Members, Operator, Management and Staff. Management has been granted authority by the Operator to remove immediately from the Club Facility any persons breaching the Club Rules relating to conduct. 26. Prohibition on Certain Recreational Equipment The following items may not be used on the Club Facility: golf clubs, rollerblades, rollerskates, wheelies, skateboards, scooters and remote controlled toys. 27. Carrying on a Business Professional trainers, coaches and teachers or any other person selling services may not practice their trade nor may any form of tuition activity be carried out at the Club by Members for monetary reward, barter reward or even free of charge, except with the prior explicit written permission of Management. 28. Notices All notices given by the Club under the Club Rules or otherwise may be given by: sending it by email to the Members registered email address; leaving such notice at the Member s registered address at the Club; sending by registered post to such address; or by facsimile transmission to the facsimile number registered with the Club. 5

29. Charges A schedule of Club charges and fees determined by the Operator and as detailed in the Club Rules will be posted on the Club s notice board. 30. Security and Emergency Procedures Management will introduce security and emergency measures from time to time which will be posted on the Club notice board. For the protection of the Club and Members, Members are required to familiarize themselves with all security and emergency measures implemented by the Club and, in times of emergency, obey all instructions of Staff who will have been trained to handle such situations. 31. Food & Beverage a) Outlet Reservations All outlets are operated on a first come first served basis. Private bookings/closure of outlets for private gatherings, functions or parties may be allowed at the discretion of the Club Manager. b) The Verandah (in- & outdoor) The operating hours of this outlet are: Daily 8 am 10 pm. The Verandah is located on the Main Floor Level and has a seating capacity of 80 guests inside and 75 guests on the terrace. It serves Continental/Asian cuisine. Last food order for The Verandah is 30 minutes before closing time. c) Sports Bar The operating hours of this outlet are: Daily 8 am 10 pm The Sports Bar is located on the left hand side of the main lobby of the Clubhouse, overlooking the Sports Field, and has a seating capacity of 40 persons. It serves snacks in addition to a wide range of beverages. Last food order for Sports Bar is 30 minutes before closing time. The Billiard/pool tables and the Darts corner located in the Billiard Room are available on a first come first served basis. Gambling is prohibited. In the event of a queue, play is limited to one frame/game. d) Poolside Café & Juice Bar The operating hours of this outlet are: Daily 8 am 8 pm. The Poolside Cafe is located pool side (deck area) within the Club Facility and has a seating capacity of 60 persons. It serves menu items from the Mexican & Pizza kitchen. The attire for this outlet is casual/sporty/ swim. e) Banquet Facilities 1. The Club s banquet facilities compromise the main outlets, meeting rooms and the MFH, all of which are subject to reservation. 2. Banquet facilities are available any time depending on each function s requirement. 3. Menus may be tailored for special events. 4. For any major event, staging, decorative and sound system requirements are subject to approval of Management. 5. For specific details, please confer with the Club s Banquet Coordinator. 6. Banquet functions are subject to the Banquet Contract of the Club. 7. The MFH is available for private events on Friday and Saturday nights with the applicable booking fee. Use of MFH is subject to additional regulations available on request. 8. No religious, political or civic activities shall be permitted under the Club s banquet facilities. f) Buffet When eating buffet in any of the outlets in the Club, sharing is not allowed. g) Birthday Parties Birthday parties for Children are held at the Splash Park (young children) and in the Multi Function Hall (older Children). Details are available from the Club s Banqueting Coordinator. 32. The Business Centre The operating hours of this facility are: Daily 8 am 10 pm. 6

The Business Centre has a seating capacity of 8 persons and is reserved for Members and Member Guests who wish to relax or work in a comfortable and quiet environment. Children under 12 years are not permitted. Use of The Business Centre s internet and computer facilities is entirely at users risk and responsibility; additional facilities, such as printing and faxing, may be provided to the Members and charged at cost. 33. Sports & Recreation a) Fitness Center 1. The Fitness Center is open daily from 6 am 9 pm. 2. The Fitness Center shall be for the exclusive use of Members and Member Guests. 3. A dress code shall be observed inside the Fitness Center. Shoes with rubber soles, t-shirt/singlets and track outfits are recommended. Shirts and closed shoes must be worn at all times. 4. No food is allowed in the Fitness Center. 5. Rules for the use of the equipment will be posted in the fitness area and must be adhered to at all times. If requested to follow rules by the instructor on duty, Members must comply with such request. All Members must use a towel when using any equipment. 6. No Members or Member Guests under 14 years of age are allowed to use the Fitness Center unless this is part of an organized Club activity. 7. Cell phones are prohibited inside all workout areas. 8. Members and Member Guests are advised to have a medical examination prior to starting an exercise program. Any Member using the Fitness Center does so at his/her own risk and responsibility; the management cannot accept any responsibility for injury or loss of valuables during any training session. 9. Member Guests will be allowed to use the Fitness Center s facilities only when accompanied by Members and upon payment of any applicable day use fee. 10. Personal fitness training is available at the Club Facility by appointment. No external trainers are permitted to give instruction in the Fitness Centre. All Personal training and group class training must be paid for in full at the Reception before the start of any such session. 11. Members using the Fitness Center s equipment and /or facilities are expected to put away any equipment or weights used during their training, and to report any equipment faults to the instructor on duty. b) Main Swimming Pool 1. The swimming pool area is operational daily from 6 am until 9 pm. 2. Persons using the swimming pool do so at their own risk and responsibility. 3. Except during organized Club activities and the limited usage by CCS, the swimming pool is limited to the exclusive use of Members and Member Guests. During periods of heavy usage, including weekends, Management may restrict the pool area to Members only. 4. Towels must be signed in & out from the lifeguards. 5. Members and Member Guests are requested to use the poolside showers before using the swimming pool(s). 6. Proper bathing attire must be worn at all times. Nudity is not allowed. 7. No child (under the age of 10) is allowed in the pool area or in the pool unless accompanied by an adult. Although the facility will have a lifeguard on duty during operational hours, any adult bringing children into the swimming pool shall be responsible for their safety. Lifeguard instructions shall be followed at all times. Children may not be left in the pool area solely in the care of a Domestic Employee unless this is part of an organized Club activity. Domestic Employees may not enter the pool. 8. Running and shouting around the pool area is not permitted. 9. No person shall be allowed near the pool area during a thunderstorm or lighting. 10. The Club shall not be held responsible for accidents to bathers using the pool and to any other persons in the vicinity of the pool area. 7

11. Persons with sores, other evidence of skin diseases or wearing bandages of any kind will not be permitted to use the pool. 12. No metal articles, large inflatable toys or toys of a hazardous nature will be permitted in the pool area. 13. Only experienced swimmers should swim in the deep end of the pool. 14. The Club shall not be responsible for any injury, death or illness or any loss of personal belongings or damage to Facility whatsoever/howsoever caused, sustained or incurred out of, or in any way connected with the use, whether proper or otherwise, of the swimming pool, whether defective or otherwise. c) Splash Park 1. The swimming pool area is operational daily from 8 am until 8 pm. Children over 10 years old may be asked to leave the Splash Park in the event of over-crowding. 2. Persons using the swimming pool do so at their own risk and responsibility. 3. Except during organized Club activities and the limited usage by CCS, the Splash Park is limited to the exclusive use of Members and Member Guests. 4. Members and Member Guests are requested to use the shower facilities provided before using the swimming pool(s). 5. Proper bathing attire must be worn at all times. Nudity is not allowed. 6. No child is allowed in the pool area or in the pool unless accompanied by an adult. Although the facility will have a lifeguard on duty during operational hours, any adult bringing children into the swimming pool shall be responsible for their safety. Lifeguard instructions shall be followed at all times. Children may not be left in the pool area solely in the care of a Domestic Employee unless this is part of an organized activity. Domestic Employees may not enter the pool. 7. Running and shouting around the pool area is not permitted. 8. No person shall be allowed near the pool area during a thunderstorm. 9. The Club and/or the Operator shall not be held responsible for accidents to bathers using the pool and to any other persons in the vicinity of the pool area. 10. Persons with sores, other evidence of skin diseases or wearing bandage of any kind will not be permitted to use the pool. 11. No metal articles, large inflatable toys or toys of a hazardous nature will be permitted in the pool area. 12. The Club and/or the Operator shall not be responsible for any injury, death or illness or any loss or damage to Facility whatsoever/ howsoever caused; sustained or incurred out of, or in any way connected with the use whether proper or otherwise, of the swimming pool, whether defective or otherwise. d) Sports Field 1. The Sports Field is for general use of Members and shall be subject to directions from the Club s grounds staff which shall be given so as to maintain a healthy playing surface. The decisions of grounds Staff in relation to the Sports Field are final and may not be contested by a Member. 2. The Sports Field is intended primarily for use by Members during programmed or organized activities, and Management may prohibit free play on the Sports Field as it sees fit. 3. Pre-booked use of the Sports Field will always take priority over free play. 4. Visitors may also be granted use of the Sports Field for events and activities organized by the Club and under certain conditions laid out by Management from time to time. 5. A Member may book the Sports Field subject to general Club requirements and for the purposes of undertaking a bona fide team sport. A charge is levied for pitch use as determined by Management from time to time. 6. Inclement weather may not be cited as a reason for waiver by the Club of late cancellation or noshow charges relating to bookings of the Playing Field if, in the opinion of Management, the Playing Field is suitable for play at the commencement of the reserved time. 8

7. In the event that, during the course of a reserved period of play, Management is of the opinion that play may not continue because of inclement weather or other reasons beyond the Club s control, the charge for the Playing Field will be levied to the booking Member pro-rata to the nearest quarter hour of the booking already utilized. 8. All non-member players on the Sports Field are deemed Visitors and restricted to field side unless signed in as Member Guests by a Member. 9. The Club and/or the Operator shall not be held responsible for accidents to players using the Sports Field and to any other persons in the vicinity of the Sports Field. e) Multi Function Hall 1. The MFH is a multi-purpose hall which is used for indoor multi-sports and functions. 2. The MFH is a shared facility with CCS and is available for Members as follows: Non-school days: 8 am to 10 pm. School days: 4 pm to 10 pm 3. All users are required to wear proper sporting attire at all times. 4. Only non-marking white rubber soled shoes will be allowed. Players must wear a shirt when using the courts. 5. During peak hours, only one court can be used and will be limited to one- hour as a courtesy to other Members. 6. Reservation for use of the court can be made only through Reception. Courts may be reserved not more than 7 days in advance. Reservations not taken up 15 minutes into the reservation period will be forfeited. 7. On specified basketball/volleyball nights, reservations may be taken seven days prior to the event. 8. Basketball and volleyball bookings are to be limited to a maximum of two hours per member according to a 6-8PM and 8-10PM schedule. 9. Members must accompany their guests at all times. 10. Members who fail to take up a reservation or give less than one hour s notice cancellation prior to the reserved time will be charged a usage fee if there is no substitute booking by another Member. 11. Availability of the courts is as per the program issued by the Club. 12. Shouting and/or any display of unsportsmanlike conduct are prohibited. 13. Gambling or betting in any form is not allowed. 14. The Club reserves the right to deny access to the courts to anyone who does not adhere to the Club Rules. 15. Persons using the courts do so at their own risk and responsibility. f) Tennis Centre 1. The operating hours of the Tennis Centre are daily from 7 am until 10 pm. 2. All users are required to wear proper sporting attire at all times. Only non-marking rubber soled shoes will be allowed. Players must wear a shirt when using the courts; no denims or swimwear are allowed. 3. Members may make a maximum of 2 hours per day court bookings. During peak hours however, as a courtesy to other Members, only one court can be used per Member and a reservation period will be limited to one hour. Peak hours are Monday to Friday 9-11 am and 4-7 pm, on indoor courts only. 4. Reservation of courts can be made only through Reception. Both in- & outdoor courts may be reserved not more than 3 days in advance for peak hours, while off-peak hours may be booked up to 7 days in advance. Reservations not taken up 15 minutes into the reservation period will be forfeited. 5. Members must accompany their guests at all times; children younger than 10 years must be accompanied by an adult when visiting and/or playing at the Tennis Centre. 6. Members who fail to take up a reservation or cancel usage less than one hour prior to the reserved time will be charged a usage fee if there is no substitute booking by another Member. 9

7. Cancellation of court bookings must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled booking. Cancellations made with less notice will be treated as no-shows, which will be kept track of; two or more no-shows will be followed by removal of booking rights for two weeks. 8. Members must leave their membership card with reception immediately prior to using the courts for social play, and retrieve their membership card when finished playing. 9. Availability of the courts is as per the program issued by the Club. The management is allowed to block-book courts for any tennis event or group lessons at any time. 10. All lessons and court bookings must be paid in full in advance at the Tennis Centre reception; guests of players must be identified at the time of booking and guest fees must be paid prior to using the court. 11. Shouting and/or any display of unsportsmanlike conduct are prohibited; on-court rules include: wait until play is finished before walking across a court to reach one s own court; be prompt in returning stray tennis balls from adjacent courts; not leave refuse of any kind on the courts; and/or always close the gate when entering and leaving the court area. 12. Smoking is prohibited throughout the premises of the Tennis Centre. 13. Food & beverages from outside sources are not permitted inside the Tennis Centre. 14. Gambling or betting in any form is not allowed. 15. The Club reserves the right to deny access to the courts to anyone who does not adhere to the Club Rules or violates the dress rules. 16. Persons using the courts do so at their own risk and responsibility. 17. Locker Rooms and Showers at the Tennis Centre : Lockers are available by Members and their Guests by signing up at the reception. The Club shall not be held liable for any loss or damage of personal belongings left in the lockers. Showers are available to Members and their guests. Hand and Bath towels are available on request and with signature at the reception and must be returned after use. Lockers can be rented monthly by Full Members only. Nothing can be left in lockers overnight unless by a paying full member. 18. Rental equipment The Club provides a limited number of racquets (Adults & Children) for rental purposes. These racquets may be rented at the price set at tennis reception and should be returned in the same condition as they were given; any damage will be the responsibility of the Member or Guest using the equipment 34. Children s Playroom 1. The Playroom is open daily from 9 am until 5 pm. 2. The Playroom shall be limited to the exclusive use by Members and Member Guests. Only Children under 8 years of age shall be permitted, yet children must be at least 2 years old. 3. No shoes may be worn in the Playroom. 4. No food or beverage may be consumed in the Playroom. 5. No equipment, toys and/or educational materials from the Playroom may be taken outside. 6. Children must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult as delegated by the relevant parent Member. 7. The Club may allocate certain hours when the Playroom is supervised by Club staff. During such hours: Members children may be left unaccompanied in the Playroom under the supervision of Playroom Staff; domestic Employees will not be permitted in the Playroom; and Playroom Staff will only release children into the care of a parent Member or an authorized Domestic Employee. 35. Pro-Shop 1. The Club Pro Shop shall be operating daily from 9 am to 5 pm. 2. The shop shall carry varied lines of sports apparel, equipment and services. 3. All purchases and/or deposit on orders must be paid upfront, either by Cashless, in cash or by credit card. 10

36. Fees, Dues and Charges All applicable fees, dues and charges, as amended by the Operator from time to time, shall be posted on the Club notice board and appear on the Club s website www.cangguclub.com. 37. Lightning and Thunderstorms Whilst lightning protection has been installed to provide protection for all areas of the Club Facility, Members are required to refrain from entering the areas of the Sports Field, Swimming Pool and Splash Park during lightning and thunderstorms. Members should use their common sense as to when this restriction should apply. In addition, Management may set off a warning klaxon during times when lightning and/or thunderstorms are immediately apparent. On the sounding of the klaxon, Members and all persons on the Club Facility are required to vacate immediately the aforementioned areas. 11
