Head Coach - Dave Schlump dave.schlump@csredhawks.org Coach Dave Schlump started his coaching career at Evart High School and Kent City High School. In 1991 he accepted the position of Varsity Basketball Coach at Cedar Springs High School. The school had suffered through a 30 game losing streak spanning over the two previous seasons. During his first season he, along with his coaching staff and the athletes, were immediately able to halt the losing streak. From there he began to build the foundation for a successful high school basketball program. Coach Schlump said throughout my 14 seasons at Cedar Springs I was fortunate to coach many outstanding basketball players, and more importantly, outstanding young men. He went on to say I have been pleased to send many of these players to the college level to continue their education and playing careers. At the conclusion of the 2003-2004 season Coach Schlump felt he was ready for the next challenge in his coaching career. He pursued an Assistant Coach position at Ferris State University where he had previously earned his Bachelor s Degree. While at FSU he helped the program achieve success in the GLIAC. During his time there the Bulldogs won a Conference Championship and advanced to the Sweet 16 nationally. He also gained valuable experience with the overall operation of a college basketball program. This experience included recruiting and prospective player evaluations along with day to day practice organization and individual skill development. Coach Schlump is employed by Cedar Springs Public Schools. He lives in Cedar Springs with his wife of 24 years, Teresea. They have three children; Josh who is 23 and a graduate of FSU, Elyse who is 20 and plays basketball at Concordia College, and Dan who is 14 and in 8th grade at Cedar Springs.

Assistant Coach - Anthony Parker Anthony Parker is in his third season as assistant coach for the Jayhawk basketball program. He is a graduate of Mona Shores High School (2001). Anthony was a three year varsity performer earning all-conference and all-area all three seasons. Anthony is also part of the Muskegon Sports Hall of Fame after being named the 2001 Male Athlete of the Year in Muskegon. He was an allstate recipient his senior year and finished fourth in Michigan s prestigious Mr. Basketball voting. Parker attended Saginaw Valley State University where he received his bachelor s degree in Computer Graphic Design. He was named runner-up freshman of the year in the competitive GLIAC Conference. He was also named to the all-conference team his final three seasons as a Cardinal. During his tenure at SVSU, he made the All-Tournament team during the Gannon Invitational. Anthony finished his career as the third all-time leading score in SVSU history with 1,699 points. Anthony received his degree in May of 2006. After college Anthony returned to his alma mater to coach for two seasons, where he was the assistant for the varsity program under Jeremy Andres and was head coach of the junior varsity team. During the summers of 2006 and 2007 Anthony competed professionally with the Holland Blast and the Grand Rapids Flight, which are part of the International Basketball League (IBL). Anthony currently resides in Grand Rapids.
