Developed Illinois River Management plan presentation. Presented Illinois River Management plan in Gore. Conducted HACCP on Bluewave. Responded to emails and phone calls. Continued with leadership class work. Completed wiring of hauling tank with new agitators and air lines. Transferred threadfin shad to Greenleaf, Brushy and Taft Lakes. Drafted research proposal and submitted. Drafted regulation change proposal. Continued with maintenance of the Watts Management Unit. Continued with frequent negotiations with the COE and SWPA for water releases in the Illinois River. Prepared for upcoming 4 th annual coordination meeting. Removed otoliths from Ft. Gibson LMB. Conducted water profile at Tenkiller Reservoir. Monitored D.O. and temperature on the lower Illinois River. Continued with maintenance of the Porter vegetation nursery. Assisted South Central Region with Florida Bass project. Transported aquatic ed fish to Jimmy Houston s and Greenleaf Kids ponds. Assisted with fishing clinic at Greenleaf Kids Pond. Drafted news release regarding the Illinois River management plan. Continued scheduled trout stocking in the lower Illinois River. Completed shotgun, handgun, and night fire qualifications for reserve wardens. CLEET class at Broken Arrow police academy attended but cancelled at last minute. (J. Burroughs) Northeast Region: Provided general assistance to public. Ensured routine maintenance of state vehicles was performed. Maintained Jenks office. Maintained fish division equipment for NER. Completed weekly and monthly timesheets, vehicle logs, and P-card paperwork. Continued online GIS tutorial for ArcGIS 10. Ordered supplies and equipment for NER fish management. Prepared and submitted comments on stocking criteria for channel catfish to catfish committee chair. Met with owners of Woody s Bait and Tackle to go over Lake Record process. Reviewed and submitted comments on proposal for bridge and channel modifications on an unnamed creek in Tulsa County. Attended HRDS workshop Challenges of Supervision at OSU Tulsa. Read black bass otoliths collected from Keystone and Chimney Rock Lakes. Performed creel surveys on Hudson Lake for GRDA. Assisted NCR fisheries personnel with collecting stripers from Arkansas River below Keystone Lake for telemetry study in Kaw Lake. Attempted trawling for paddlefish on Grand Lake. Cleaned and sectioned Keystone paddlefish jaws. Wrote proposal for paddlefish research on Keystone Lake. Provided technical assistance to multiple private pond owners on fish stocking, fish management, and aquatic vegetation control. Reviewed GRDA and FERC documents and submitted comments as needed. Tagged fish and assisted with fish stocking for Zebco Media Day and free fishing weekend. Attended Salina Proposed Studies meeting with GRDA. Collected fish from Grand Lake for contaminant testing for the University of Oklahoma. Collected striper broodstock from Arkansas River below Keystone Lake dam. Prepared documents for Bernice and Twin Bridges boater access projects. Spoke with the Miami City Council about a boating access project. Fishing Clinic at the Afton Northeast Vo-Tech center pond. Did media interview with local TV station promoting free fishing weekend. Continued ongoing paddlefish telemetry research in Grand Lake. Investigated fish kill at Port of Catoosa and submitted report to Environmental Biologist. Investigated fish kill below Grand Lake. Routine maintenance on RPC vehicles and equipment. Worked creel survey on Hudson Lake. Approved to attend the Reserve CLEET Academy in Delaware County. Took HRDS classes. Removed old barb wire fence at new RPC. Transported 4 juvenile paddlefish from the Jenks Aquarium to the Neosho River at Twin Bridges. Worked Paddlefish Telemetry project. Worked on the sale of caviar. Performed background check on new buyers. Meeting with Mass Architect, Crossland Construction, Construction and Properties to start the closing of new RPC. Reviewed punch list of RPC. Worked on post paddlefish survey. Helped landowner with pond design. Sent pictures of New RPC to buyers. (B. Gordon) Southeast Region: Assisted walk-ins and answered phones at the Higgins office. Monthly paperwork and bills were completed and submitted. Staff maintained office and grounds. Budget requisitions were submitted as necessary. Weekly staff meetings were conducted. Equipment logs were updated. Three Rivers WMA dump truck; gravel was hauled to maintain Higgins office parking/drive. White bass kill was investigated at Sardis Lake. Equipment items were purchased as directed. Lake record for a largemouth bass was rejected as a spotted bass. Transom saver and exhaust was repaired on EF boat. Staff assisted Three Rivers WMA and Pushmataha staff with fish stocking management of WMA. Herbicide was applied to Higgins office pond and vegetation manually removed. Trash was picked up at Nanih Waiya and Schooler lakes. ESRI online virtual campus modules 1-3 were completed. Supervisor attended OWRB water plan meetings in McAlester and Antlers. FERC documents regarding several permit applications on Kiamichi River were reviewed and FERC contacted for further map documents. Provided possible funding uses for potential mitigation from Southeast Oklahoma environmental infraction. Reviewed ODWC lake map information. Submitted two rule change proposals. Attended rule change proposal meeting in OKC. Wilburton City Lake dam rehab document was reviewed and possible boating access potential discussed with mayor s office. Boating access projects were discussed with Wister State Park, Robbers Cave State Park, and locals around Wister Lake. Herbicide was applied to excessive vegetation on Nanih Waiya and Schooler lakes. Dilapidated buoy was removed from Nanih Waiya. Spider blocks were placed in Clayton Lake and Boswell Lake. Two brush piles were refurbished in Clayton Lake. Trees were felled along jetties on Nanih Waiya. Fish samples for ODEQ toxic analysis were collected from Talawanda #1, Talawanda #2, Carl Albert, Clayton, Wayne Wallace, Carlton, and Sardis lakes. Samples were delivered to ODEQ staff. Assistance was provided to two anglers regarding fish ID. Landowner was assisted with trout stocking request questions. SER staff assisted consultant with downloading of water quality sondes for mussel project, and data was reviewed/organized. Sonde retrieval preparations were made and discussed with consultant. Staff stocked FLMB in Cedar Lake. Prepared for and conducted aquatic education clinic for First Baptist Church of Muskogee at Honor Heights Park, Muskogee. Staff prepared for and assisted with FLMB stocking on Sardis and Arbuckle lakes. Staff seined for young of the year LMB samples for size comparison to FLMB stocked individuals. Staff checked survey boxes at Ozzie Cobb, Nanih Waiya, and Raymond Gary. Staff conducted HACCP on equipment as required. Conducted maintenance on vehicles as needed. Reserve officers attended firearms qualifications and firearms safety meeting in Claremore. Vehicles were maintained as needed. Staff placed three ANS signs at Hugo Lake access points. (D. Groom) Streams Program: Coordinated and conducted bi-weekly, mitigation and surplus trout stockings at the lower Mountain Fork River with Crystal Lake Fisheries and hatchery staff. Provided outreach to

anglers seeking information on stream fishing. Assisted SCR staff with shocking FLMB from hatchery reservoirs. Assisted SCR staff with otolith oxytetracylene marking of FLMB fry. Held meetings with streams management staff to coordinate upcoming activities, future directions and to clarify staff responsibilities. Continued to monitor flow and thermal changes along the lower Mountain Fork River. Cleaned and maintained office, grounds and equipment at streams management facilities in Caddo. Remove stop logs from diversion structure at Lost Creek to restore proper flows. Provide technical assistance to private landowners about vegetation in stream beds. Aide the USFWS with the Arkansas River Shiner Survey. Continued assisting OBS staff with documenting the presence and spread of Didymosphenia geminata (i.e., didymo) at the lower Mountain Fork River. Maintenance was performed on state vehicles. Completed HACCP and equipment maintenance logs. (J. Barfield) South Central Region: Assisted with FLMB stocking at Mt. Lake and Scott King. Assisted with the harvest and marking of FLMB at the Durant Hatchery. Stocked FLMB at Sardis, Arbuckle, and McGee Creek as part of the research project. Collected age-0 LMB from Arbuckle and McGee Creek. Removed otoliths from FLMB and mounted them to microscope slides for later analysis. Held meetings with regional staff to coordinate upcoming activities, future directions and to clarify staff responsibilities. Attended Fisheries Staff meeting in OKC. Attended joint meeting with Chickasaw National Recreation Area staff to discuss current MOU and management activities. Attended Regional Water Plan meeting in Coalgate. Provided comments to OKC on statues of prairie chub. Coordination meeting with COE Texoma project office staff. Assisted with Lake Texoma tour for elected official. Finalized draft letter for Fish Division and Director s office consideration regarding mitigation provided trout and potential reductions. Maintenance of shop building and grounds. Replaced office light ballasts. Delivered hauling tank and equipment to Higgins Office. Maintenance to stocking roads, campsites, and infrastructure at BRPFHA. Completed routine mowing and litter removal at BRPFHA. SSP data entry. Provided technical assistance to numerous regional landowners with pond management questions. Completed millet seeding at BRPFHA. Reviewed regulation proposals. (M. Mauck) Southwest Region: Read Elmer Thomas Largemouth bass otoliths (slow growth compared to state average). Worked on presentation about Elmer Thomas Largemouth bass data. Gave presentation about Elmer Thomas Largemouth Bass age and growth and population status to Ft. Sill and WMWR staff. Floated and seined North Fork River between Hwy 19 and Hwy 62 to scout proposed reservoir site and prairie chub habitat. Took aquarium to Lawtonka for 60 elementary school teacher s seminar. Took aquarium to Ft. Sill fishing derby with 200 kids in attendance. Got AE fishing poles ready and worked Kiwanis fishing clinic with 30 kids in attendance. Coordinated AE event with LE division. Built cover for front glass of aquarium. Verified new 12 lb, ll oz lake record LMB from Lawtonka. Verified quality flathead catfish and hybrid striped bass from Ft. Cobb for lake record program. Electrofished to collect fish for various AE events. Edited saugeye news release for Cobb. Worked on Chickasha and Duncan BA documents. Checked boat ramp patch at Vanderwork. Inspected Elk City and Frederick boat ramp and dock. Put out no wake buoys around brush piles at Ft. Cobb in cove north of Crows Roost West. Moved no wake buoys farther into border cove at Ft. Cobb to allow more access. Sank 24 cedar trees in Mount Scott cove and around old bridge in Lawtonka. Checked with shocker and worked on plant cages at Ft. Cobb. Ordered materials and held meeting with OWRB on plant cages. Checked veg control progress at Lake Helen. 2 Cleaned office. Continued data analysis and write up of F-50-R-18-30 project. Attend meeting with NW Region and anglers from Foss area to discuss results of gillnet project. Held safety meetings about trip planning and float trip safety and quarterly planning meeting. Met with Doug Kemper to discuss ODWC role in Medicine Park Museum of Natural Science. Met with cooperators at Tom Steed Lake. Checked Lake Hall and put up regulation signs. Spread gravel in old boat barn. Picked up generator from Altus Motorsports. Installed dock cleats on old bridge at Lawtonka for fisherman to tie up boats. Assist Lake maintenance with construction of storm shelter. Took Bluewave to repair shop. (L. Cofer) Central Region: Processed invoices, submitted monthly reports and p-card paperwork, updated equipment use records and mileage logs; cleaned offices and shops. Attended COE Listening Session about the Eufaula Lake shoreline management plan and EIS. Had vehicle maintenance done, repaired and cleaned netting and electrofishing boat and rebuilt trailer. Attended the OFRL staff meeting to discuss upcoming field work, personnel and equipment needs. Texts and journals were coded for the OFRL Library. Attended a meeting with a dredging company and the Town of Jones to discuss cleaning out Battey Mulhausen Park pond. Contacted Jones residents for cost share possibilities. Attended a coordination meeting regarding the Ft. Cobb Reservoir re-vegetation project. Delivered fish feed for pond feeders and cheese bait for catfish sampling to OKC fisheries personnel. Attended a meeting on rule changes for 2013, FY12 budgets, sampling procedures and job vacancies. Continued creel survey on Deep Fork arm of Eufaula Lake. Electrofished Wewoka Lake Special Management Project sites. Made arrangements, prepped equipment, and installed 400 spiders at Lake Eufaula State Park and Onapa Cove on Eufaula Lake. Picked up spiders at Holdenville, Moss, Stonewall schools. Stockpiled spiders at Konawa Lake. Maintained plant growing cells at OFRL. Planted emergent species in Lake Thunderbird. Assisted ODEQ with fish collections from Eufaula Lake for mercury testing and toxins testing. Provided technical assistance to 17 stakeholders regarding algae control, fish injury and disease, catfish angling activity, Arkansas River Shiner biology, a fish kill, grass carp and tilapia sources, basic pond management and CTHFP sites. Assisted with hauling and stocking AREP channel catfish from Holdenville hatchery. Fish stocking reports were received and filed. Picked up 1-ton fish hauling truck at Jenks office for fish hauling trips. Compiled stocking records for ODWC website. Worked outdoor classroom at Lakeview Elementary School in Norman. Instructed 100 kids on safe casting, knot tying, fish identification, fishing tackle, state symbols and fishing facts. Took Eufaula fishing guide electrofishing to show benefits of habitat enhancement projects. Delivered the ODWC fishing simulator to the Jenks office for an event at Grand Lake. Assisted with collecting striped bass and tracking below Keystone and Kaw reservoirs. Sent map showing extent of Tecumseh fish kill to Environmental Biologist. Performed HACCP procedures to boats, trailers, hauling tanks, dip nets and pumps and updated logs. Assisted Holdenville Lake Superintendant installing buoys. Attended HRDS class. Interviewed candidates for summer intern and processed paperwork for hiring. Purchased shipping containers and aquatic plants, constructed new growing cells, split and organized plants at with assistance from OWRB personnel for Fort Cobb plant project. Reviewed Title 800 for areas to change or eliminate. (G. Gilliland) Environmental Program: Eleven (11) letters were addressed requesting environmental impact assessments or reviews on various projects that could affect species of greatest conservation need.

Attended Water Plan meeting in OKC. Attended and participate in Tar Creek Trustee Council meeting. Reviewed Tar Creek Restoration Plan. Coordinated with ODEQ and Law Enforcement Division regarding fish kill at Enid WWTP. Prepared materials for and participated in meeting with Secretary of Environment to discuss Natural Resource Damage issues and claims received. Prepared compliance documents for new State Wildlife Grants. Conducted instream flow sampling coordination meeting with OSU and OWRB. Worked with OWRB and OSU to develop sampling protocols to be used in in-stream flow sampling on scenic rivers. Conducted school program in Broken Arrow. Discussed revisions to reptile regulations with Wildlife Diversity staff. Attended Oklahoma Invasive Plant Council board meeting. Conducted a wildlife diversity school program in Tulsa. Completed two State Wildlife Grant packets. Conducted water sampling for zebra mussels at Lakes Sardis, Broken Bow, Holdenville, and Thunderbird. Shot zebra mussel sampling video with I&E for Outdoor Oklahoma. Attended TCTC meeting at Tulsa USFWS office. Assisted in Arkansas River Shiner sampling on the Canadian and Cimarron rivers. Assisted with a fish kill investigation near Enid. Reviewed and issued various aquatic commercial permits. (W. Ray/C. Tackett) Northwest Region: Sampled Great Salt Plains with trotline for channel catfish. Summarized FEMA information on American Horse Lake. Visited with Ft. Supply Lake record keeper. Assisted Byron Hatchery personnel with harvesting saugeye pond, boxing hybrid striped bass fry, sorting and setting up sunfish ponds and one tour. One fishing clinic was conducted and assisted with fishing derby at Great Salt Plains Refuge. Visited with county commissioner at Lake Etling on brush control and Lake Vincent on boating and fishing access. Held a Town Hall meeting at Lake Foss. Coordinated with Watonga State Park personnel on habitat project at Lake Watonga. Set up coppernose bluegill pond in the Freedom area for future stocking source. Investigated a fish kill at Foss. Checked drying conditions at Lake Elmer. Provided technical assistance to four pond owners. (J. Stahl) North Central Region: Regional activities during this reporting period focused on Fishing Clinics and the collection of Striped Bass for the research project on Movements in Kaw Lake. Supervisor worked with I&E personnel to develop and publish the Statewide Fish Stocking from last five years, on the new ODWC web site for anglers to utilize. A Lake Record Blue Catfish was approved from Kaw Lake. Equipment was purchased to install electrical power to the Boat Stall inside the North Central Regional Compound. Fishing Clinics were given at Pawnee Bill State Park, Perkins School at Boomer Lake, Willow Springs Pond in Ponca City for the Ponca Indian Tribe, The Pioneer Technology Center and the Park and Recreation Dept. of Ponca City during this reporting period. Two aquatic education fish stocking trips were made. Regional netting needs were evaluated and order for FY2012 was developed. Staff prepared statewide netting order for division. Old gill nets were de-commissioned. Coordination of personnel, water releases below Kaw Dam, and equipment needs were discussed and accomplished to facilitate the collection of striped bass adults for telemetry tag implantation from the Kaw Tailwater and the Keystone Tailwater. One fish was observed below Kaw Dam; 8 fish were collected below Keystone Dam, tagged and transported back to Kaw Lake where 50% mortality was observed upon stocking. Two post release trips to Kaw Lake with hydrophone did not detect any of the four striped bass tagged and released into the lake. Water quality samples were collected through the lower part of the reservoir during this period. A Fish Regulation Meeting was attended by supervisor 3 and regional budgets for FY12 were received. Supervisor met with the new cooperator for the Pawnee Boating Access Project and the status of project was discussed and future plans developed. Supervisor also met with the coordinator for the Ponca City Boating Access project to explain status of project and dock pricing that affected cost share amounts. Wildlife Resource Profession Training was attended by staff. Grounds were maintained, HACCP protocol was followed on equipment used in regional lakes, new equipment was put together, reports were completed by deadlines, and invoices were processed as needed during this reporting period (B. Wentroth) Lake Maintenance: Both big dozers and the track hoe were at Lexington for three weeks to finish clearing fire lanes around the WMA. All equipment has been returned to headquarters. We have spent a week servicing equipment and trucks. The track hoe was taken to Oklahoma City for major repairs. Burtschi was mowed and normal trash runs were made. Supervisor made a trip to Arcadia to look at the wetlands and to see what equipment would be needed to remove the silt around the walkway. All vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds were maintained as scheduled and repaired as needed. (T Waters) FISH HATCHERIES JA Manning Hatchery: Performed routine maintenance to equipment and vehicles as scheduled or needed. Mowed and ran weed eater around hatchery grounds. Feed catfish two times daily. Sprayed catfish ponds with copper sulfate to control algae. Monitored water quality daily and sampled plankton and fish weekly. Harvested saugeye ponds and stocked them into area lakes. Tilled up 4 ponds and drug out pond bottoms. Made repairs to catfish loading crane. Manager and intern traveled to Byron and picked up Hybrid striped bass fry. Technician and intern traveled to Inks Dam National Fish Hatchery and picked up channel catfish fry. Provided samples of fish to Fish and Wildlife Services for disease testing. Installed pond aerator on catfish ponds that have power close by. Harvested one catfish pond and placed fish into 3 ponds for the growout program. Harvested 3 bass ponds and moved fingerling to holding tanks for the farm pond program. Transported leftover farm pond fish to Lake Vincent and Woodward. Assisted Lake Maintenance with pouring concrete and with truck repairs. (T. Wright) Durant Hatchery: One pond with 13 growout channel catfish was harvested and stocked into the Blue River. Eleven ponds of Flmb fingerlings were harvested and stocked into public waters by DH personnel with help from the Holdenville Hatchery and SCR & SER personnel. Several research lakes were stocked during this reporting period with marked Flmb fingerlings. Flmb fingerlings were sent to the Byron Hatchery for pellet training. Nlmb fingerlings were transported from the Holdenville Hatchery to the Durant Hatchery for use in filling farm pond applications from the DH and Porter office. Left over Nlmb fingerlings were stocked into public waters after the farm pond fish weekend. Two goldfish forage ponds were harvested and forage stocked out into Flmb broodstock holding ponds. Goldfish broodstock was sent to the Byron Hatchery for spawning use. Bluegill broodstock was sent to the Holdenville Hatchery for spawning use. Two koi spawning ponds and 1rearing pond was harvested and forage stocked into Flmb broodstock holding ponds. Fish samples were collected for each species and provided to the USFWS for the annual DH Fish Health inspection. Hay contractor cut and baled hay on the hatchery grounds. All fish species were monitored and fed, sampled regularly, water quality maintained, and nuisance aquatic vegetation was controlled. Hatchery grounds, buildings, equipment, and vehicles were

maintained. Repairs to equipment, dip nets and seines were completed. P-Card purchases were processed accordingly. DH staff continued monitoring and deterring otters, cormorants, and herons. Tours were given to 58 people during the reporting period, packets with general ODWC information were handed out, and numerous walk-in visitors were assisted during this reporting period. The shop and office were cleaned weekly and as needed. (Gordon Schomer II) Byron Hatchery: Activities completed this month at the Byron SFH include feeding and monitoring striped bass and hybrid striped bass fry, shipping of those fry to other hatcheries and lakes, setting and stocking 4 ponds with hybrid striped bass fry, and monitoring water quality in those ponds. Five saugeye and 2 walleye ponds were harvested and distributed this month; channel catfish were fed and sampled this month, and bluegill holding ponds were harvested this month as well. Three ponds were set, filled, and stocked with bluegill adults; one pond was done for hybrid sunfish production. Ponds were treated for vegetation control and the oxygen levels were monitored. Maintenance activities completed this month include mowing and weed trimming and placing rip rap on pond dikes. Broken limbs resulting from storms were picked up and move to burn piles, vehicles were maintained this month as needed and farm implements were serviced. Several tours were given this month. (S. Spade) Holdenville Hatchery: Various fish were sampled and feeding rates were adjusted accordingly. Water quality parameters were monitored in culture ponds. Hatchery reservoir water level and pumps were monitored. Two ponds of Hybrid Striped bass fry were stocked into culture pond for additional growth. Four ponds of Saugeye fingerlings were harvested and stocked into public waters. Three ponds of northern largemouth bass were harvested and fingerlings were distributed to farm pond applicants. Hatchery personnel assisted the Durant Hatchery with the distribution of Florida bass various lake. Spawning containers were placed into channel catfish ponds and eggs were collected bi-weekly then eggs were transferred to the Tishomingo National Fish Hatchery for their production needs. Hatchery staff deterred herons, egrets, cormorants and river otters from culture ponds. Coordinated and distributed the stocking of 14 aquatic educational ponds for clinics. Ponds were mowed, disked and graded for upcoming culture season. Hatchery roads were graded and maintained. Hatchery grounds were maintained though out the month. Repairs were made to ponds, nets, seine and screens where needed. Shop and vehicle storage buildings were cleaned as needed. Repairs and maintenance to buildings, equipment and hatchery grounds were made as needed. (J. Davenport) FISHERIES RESEARCH Effectiveness of Stocking 7-inch Channel Catfish to Reservoir Fisheries: Population sampling for channel catfish concluded 31 May. Preparations for angler creel surveys are underway. Angler creel surveys will begin on 3 June and last through August. Hoop net sampling for hatchery reared channel catfish will continue in Lone Chimney and Greenleaf reservoirs until August. Preparation of the Annual Performance Report was initiated. (OSU Coop) Post-hooking Mortality of Blue Catfish Caught by Jug Fishing: Field jug-fishing trials continued. Mortality rates continue to be low (3.8%). Preparation of the Annual Performance Report was initiated. (OSU Coop) Economic Impact of the Cold-water Fishery in the Lower Mountain Fork River: Data input and economic modeling on entire 4 data set continued. Final defense of M.S. thesis on travel cost and onsite conjoint management survey was completed; results will be summarized in the Annual Performance Report, which is under preparation. Economic impact modeling continued. (OSU Coop) Habitat Use and Movement by Fishes using Shallow-water Habitats in Three Scenic Rivers in Oklahoma Information for Developing Instream Flow Guidelines: Set up VIE tag retention experiment. Set up remote PIT tag antennas/receivers in the laboratory and are currently working to tune them to optimize performance. Laboratory facilities for temperature tolerance objective were developed. Worked to finalize study design and sampling locations. Preparation of the Annual Performance Report was initiated. (OSU Coop) Arkansas River Striped Bass Evaluation: OFRL crews PIT tagged 61 striped bass below Eufaula dam, including a potential state record fish. The total number of fish tagged to date stands at 466 with 17 recaptures since spring 2010. (G. Summers) SSP Electrofishing Evaluation: Electrofishing data was entered. Data analysis of catch rates is ongoing for all LMB and LMB >14 inches. (G. Summers) Florida Largemouth bass stocking evaluation: OFRL staff confirmed OTC marks from test trials of Florida bass marked with Tet- Sol brand OTC. OTC mark verification of additional Florida bass samples (including control fish) is ongoing. (G. Summers) Grow-out catfish stocking: Angler surveys continue to be received. Survey boxes at all nine lakes were checked and refilled. Preparations were made for the upcoming hoop netting. Data analysis of angler survey continues. (G. Summers) Walleye stocking evaluation: OFRL staff continues OTC mark confirmation of walleye being held at OFRL. (G. Summers) Other Research Laboratory Activities: Analysis of regional spring SSP electrofishing data (29 lakes) has been completed and printouts returned to regional personnel. A summary of 2011 spring sampling is being prepared as regional staff review SSP printouts. A meeting of the SSP committee is being prepared to update the SSP manual. Two mailings went out regarding the Senior License marketing campaign. Senior applications are coming back to the Central Office and campaign success is being evaluated. An OFRL staff meeting was held and sampling schedules were discussed. OFRL library coding is ongoing. Three marketing email deployments went out through a third party vendor to over 65,000 lapsed Oklahoma anglers urging their renewed participation. The third email had a Father s Day message. OFRL staff completed a manuscript review for the 2011 SEAFWA proceedings. Updated museum collection from Oklahoma State University are not immediately forthcoming, therefore the Digital Atlas of Oklahoma Fishes may be rolled out with only the collections from OU and the ODWC. New stored processes continue to be developed for electrofishing data from 1982 through 2010 for the OFRL BI Server. Boats were maintained and HACCP procedures were performed after sampling. Course work for leadership class was completed and technical assistance was given to 11 pond owners. A new ice machine was ordered and installed. OFRL staff assisted CR with building new plant growing cells and stocking CTHFP waters. (G. Summers)

Golden Algae Management Measures: The lake monitoring program and sample analyses continued. A data file was prepared for Steve Bartell (E2 Consulting Engineers) for incorporation of golden algae and associated environmental data into the CASM model for Lake Texoma. Daphnia bioassays continued running for examination of the role of N:P and salinity on golden algae toxin extract toxicities. The fifth (final) series of experiments necessary began for determining the roles of light and bacteria on degradation and stability of golden algaetoxins. A manuscript was submitted, detailing the mechanism of golden algae fish kills and based of MS thesis work of Emily Remmel, for publication. A visit by Prof. Dave Caron (Univ. Southern Cal.) was hosted to discuss collaborative analysis of entire microbial assemblage responses to golden algae blooms and to work on a manuscript and new grant proposal based on this work. (G.
