This means a judge will visit the farm and the cows will be judged on the farm with no need for any preparation. The rules of the challenge are simple:- the cows are not to be prepared in any way (not even a wash is required); the year of birth of the cow should be known and the cattle should be separated from the herd and put into a paddock or yard to make the judging easier. The classes for the onfarm challenge are open to all types of cows, and only in the case of high entry numbers will the cows be split into breed classes F49 Cows born during the year 2015 1: $10.00; 2: $5.00; 3: $2.00 F50 Cows born during the year 2014 1: $10.00; 2: $5.00; 3: $2.00 F51 Cows born during the year 2013 1: $10.00; 2: $5.00; 3: $2.00 F52 Cows born during the year 2013 F53 F54 1: $10.00; 2: $5.00; 3: $2.00 Cows born during the year 2012 or prior 1: $10.00; 2: $5.00; 3: $2.00 Best Group of 4 mixed age cows Prizes yet to be confirmed
