Message from our Principal Edition 6 November 6 th, 2015 It s a special time of year at BES as we recognize the contributions and sacrifice of the many local veteran s who have or are currently serving in active duty. We consider it a privilege to not only recognize and honor this service, but to teach and model for our students the importance of service, sacrifice, and honor for country. Our annual Veterans Day assembly is set for November 11th; invitations with RSVP forms were sent home with students in late October. If you do not have a form please call our office to provide your information. Sign-in begins at 8:45am with the assembly starting at 9:15am. Donuts and coffee will be available for our guests. Mr. Doug Savage We will continue to collect items for troop boxes (to be sent to deployed servicemen & women) through the week of November 16th. Items may be sent to school with students; information sheets are available in our office, but any food items of a non-perishable nature that will fit in a 8.5 X 11 inch box are needed. Thanks for all of the support to date! Our new building continues to progress rapidly, with about 30% now under roof and much of the exterior brick applied. It is on track to be dried-in by the end of December with the opening in August 2016! September Character Trait is... Cooperation Congratulations to our Students!
