In the Open (restricted) classes the three highest placed Restricted animals in each class will qualify. In the mixed height Open (restricted) classes the four highest placed restricted animals will qualify. Riders of restricted animals MUST wear an armband. Animals must be registered before the date of the show at which they qualify for the Winter Championships and must be ridden by BSPS members except in the case of exhibitors who have never been members before who are allowed 7 days in which to become members and register their ponies. The 1 st 4 th prize winners in the Open/Restricted classes will qualify for the Premier League classes at the BSPS Summer Championship Show. The ponies placed 1 st in Heritage affiliated Open/Restricted classes will qualify for Heritage Industrial Salt Supplies Wow Factor Winner of Winners to be held at the BSPS Summer Championship Show. In Mixed Height classes the 1 st placed pony will qualify. RESTRICTED RULES ELIGIBILITY Animals eligible for the Restricted classes must not have been placed 1 st 8 th at the RIHS(except Pretty Polly), or HOYS or in the case of Heritage ponies, Olympia or RIHS Young in the relevant classes in 2016/2017/2018 CHAPS (UK) WINTER RESTRICTED QUALIFERS Both the owner and the rider of any exhibit need not be fully paid up members of CHAPS(UK) at the time of the competition, nor must the animal be registered ; but to validate the qualification, both membership and registration must be in place with CHAPS(UK) before entering the relevant year s finals and both sections of the qualifer card must be returned as per the instructions on the card. All Stallions must be graded with CHAPS(UK) in order to compete in these classes.
