Beautiful Setting The Earl of Dudley originally owned the land on which Swindon Golf Club resides. Located only 8 miles outside Wolverhampton City Centre Swindon Golf Club holds a constant surprise to visitors to find such an idyllic setting and provides continuous pleasure to its visitors. Our extensive grounds offer a beautiful setting for your wedding reception and excellent photo opportunities allowing you to create the memorable images you want. Our Venue The welcoming atmosphere and charming countryside setting of Swindon Golf Club, make this venue a delightful choice for your wedding reception. Our club house is furnished in a contemporary style which features a fully stocked, private licensed bar and dance floor along with a large patio area with stunning views of the surrounding golf course and countryside for outside entertaining. The venue comfortably accommodates, up to 70 seated guests and 120 guests for less formal evening gathering. Also the venue can be themed and decorated to suit your individual style.

Terms and Conditions Function Reservations Deposits A non-refundable booking fee (room hire.) or fee as stated by the management is due with your booking. A written confirmation will then be sent to you along with 2 copies of our terms and conditions. Please sign one copy and send back within 14 days to secure your booking. A 50% of the total price is required 4 weeks prior to the event, with the final payment of the total amount payable 7 days prior to the event. Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations In the event of cancellation of a booking by the client, for whatever reason, Swindon Golf Club will make a cancellation charge for the total anticipated loss of revenue to the Club on the following basis: 4 weeks before the date of the event ~ 50% of total booking value 1 week before the date of the event ~ 100% of total booking value The Club will endeavour to re-let the booked facilities. In the event this is achieved we will deduct the resultant revenue from the cancellation charge. Notice of cancellation must be given in writing. Final Details Final details i.e. numbers, menu etc must be received by Swindon Golf Club at least 7 days prior to the function. The expected number of attendees as of 7 days prior to the function is the minimum that will be charged for. General I. Swindon Golf Club reserves the right to cancel any booking forthwith and without any liability on its part in the event of any damage or destruction of the Club by fire or any other cause. Anything beyond the control of the Club which shall prevent it from performing its obligations in connection with any booking. II. If in the opinion of the Club, either the client or any of its servants, invitees, guests or representatives act in a manner considered to be prejudicial to the good name of Swindon Golf Club, the Club shall be at liberty to terminate the contract or event forthwith without being liable for any refund or any compensation to the client. III. The Club requires to know of any proposed third party contracts for entertainment or services for a function and reserves the right to prohibit the same. Terms and Conditions Function Reservations IV. The client shall be responsible for any losses or damages sustained by the Club in respect of the premises furnishings, utensils or equipment, whether the same be caused wilfully or by negligence or default, and shall be liable for the cost of replacement or repair plus compensation for the loss of business caused thereby. V. The customer agrees to be bound by all responsible instructions of duly authorised representatives of Swindon Golf Club in respect of the conduct of the function and shall further ensure that those attending shall similarly comply. No one attending the function must wander onto the golf course, expect with prior permission of the Club. No food or beverage may be brought from outside onto the premises, except with the prior permission of the Club. VI. Any written information made available to the client of Swindon Golf Club shall be deemed to be incorporated herein and in the event of a dispute there Terms and Conditions shall prevail. VII. No Modification to the Terms and Conditions shall be binding upon Swindon Golf Club unless the same be in writing and duly signed by a properly authorised manager at Swindon Golf Club.
