RULES AND REGULATIONS FEDERATIONS INVITED COMPOSITION OF DELEGATIONS The event will be organized under the following FIG and PAGU rules, as valid in the year of the event, except for any deviation mentioned in these directives: Statutes Technical Regulations Code of Points and relevant Newsletters General Judges Rules Specific Judges Rules Doping Control Rules Licence rules Media Rules Apparatus Norms FIG Rules for Sanctioning (approval) of International Events Advertising and Publicity Rules PAGU Statutes and Technical Regulations Specific Rules for Pan American Club Cup and subsequent decisions of the FIG and PAGU Executive Committees Any club appointed by their National Federation may participate as per PAGU rules. National Federations must be PAGU members in good FIG and PAGU standing. Age will be determined by age on December 31 st, 2013. Maximum clubs per discipline and age group: 3 WAG MAG Head of Delegation per Federation 1 Team Manager per club 1 1 Gymnasts per club 3 3 Coaches per club 2 2 Judges per Federation 2 2 Gymnasts will be required to possess a valid FIG license for junior categories. AGE LIMITS Additional delegation members must pay USD$100 for their accreditation, except for a 3rd judge. EVENT FORMAT The event will be held as follows: WAG Age Group A and B: 2 days of competition. First day is for compulsories and second day for optionals. For Age Group competition final results (AA, apparatus and Teams) will be determined by the sum of the scores of both days. MAG Age Group pre-children and children: 1 day of competition. OC will provide first aid service in the competition/training areas. Please verify immediately with your travel agent or the Mexican Embassy or Consulate in your country if a visa is required for your travel to Mexico. The Organizing Committee will be happy to assist each Delegation member with an official invitation letter, provided that the request is made before September 28, 2013 to the LOC. The request must include the function, full name, gender, date of birth, citizenship and passport number, passport expiry date, the arrival and departure dates of the Delegation Member as well as the city the visa application support letter must be sent to. 3
INSURANCE INTERNATIONAL TRANSPORTATION The Host Federation, the Organizing Committee, PAGU and the FIG will not be held responsible for any liabilities in case of accidents, illness, repatriation and the like. The FIG Technical Regulations foresee that all participating Federations are responsible for making their own arrangements to have the necessary valid insurance coverage against illness, accidents and for repatriation for all the members of their Delegation. The LOC will verify the insurance upon arrival of the delegation members (e.g. cover note or photocopy of the valid policy). Delegation members with insufficient insurance cover must inform the LOC in advance. The LOC will subsequently offer insurance at the Federations own charge as follows: USD$35.00 per person covering all the official dates of the event. The invited participating federations must pay for the travel costs of their delegation members arriving to Puebla Bus Station (CAPU) or Puebla Airport (PBC). Federations arriving to Mexico City International Airport (MEX) can take a bus at the airport to travel to Puebla Bus Station (CAPU). The cost of one-way ticket is approximately USD$15.00 per person. LOCAL TRANSPORTATION The Travel Schedule Form must be returned to the LOC by October 7, 2013. Organizing Committee will provide transportation from Puebla Bust Station (CAPU) and Puebla Airport (PBC) to official hotels and vice versa on the official arrival and departure dates. ACCOMMODATION Transportation from official hotels-competition/training venue-official hotels will be provided by OC to all delegation members duly accredited. The rates for all accredited persons are: USD$100.00 in single room per day per person USD$80.00 in double room per day per person These rates include 3 meals starting with lunch and leaving with breakfast, local transportation and final banquet. The prices charged for the hotel rooms will not exceed the usual hotel rates. While the Accommodation Form must be returned to the LOC by October 7 th, 2013 at the very latest, the Hotel rooms will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. The invited participating federations must pay for the accommodation expenses of their delegation members. The costs for the accommodations must be paid in full to the LOC by October 7 th, 2013. FINAL BANQUET No reimbursement will apply for any cancellation made after October 15 th, 2013. All accredited person will receive a ticket for the final banquet. Additional persons can buy a ticket for USD$25.00 that must be requested to Organizing Committee at the latest on October 29, 2013. 4
JUDGES AND JURIES BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION All judges must have a current valid FIG brevet at the time of the event. WAG and MAG Technical Directors will form Superior Jury and the Jury of Appeal will be appointed by PAGU. Delegations who do not present at least one judge will be fined with US$1,000.00 and will not be allowed to compete if by October 7 th, 2013 the fine is not covered.
