X-ible Flexure joints SNAPstop Plantar flexion stop Information for practitioners

The 17AF10 X-ible joint is a self-aligning, flexible joint featuring a free-motion or dorsal-assist function. By offering different versions, the 17AF10 can be adapted to the user s individual needs. The lightweight, flat design makes the 17AF10 particularly attractive and the fabrication of thermoplastic orthoses especially efficient. The SNAPstop plantar flexion stop is durable and quiet, and offers maximum flexibility. 2 Ottobock X-ible and SNAPstop X-ible + SNAPstop A winning combination for a lightweight, durable orthosis Available in adult and pediatric sizes

It s so fle(x-ible)! X-ible joints are small, lightweight, and flexible made for use with thermoformable and thermoset materials. This kind of joint is most commonly used as an ankle joint, but can also be used as a knee, elbow, or wrist joint. X-ible joints are available with two different functions. The straight is free-motion while the pre-flexed provide dorsal-assist. Benefits No pre-assembling needed X-ible joints are ready for use after unpacking Free motion or dorsal assist function No extra tooling Torx key is all you need Pediatric and adult sizes Winning combination with SNAPstop, the interchangeable plantar flexion stop system Scope of delivery includes fabrication dummies Figure 17AF10 X-ible Free Motion Function 17AF10 X-ible Dorsal Assist Stabilization in frontal plane Motion control of the ankle With additional plantar stop (SNAPstop) reduction of knee hyperextension is possible Dorsiflexion assist Indications Dorsiflexion weakness Valgus/varus deformities ML instabilities 45 mm 39 mm 31 mm Both X-ible variations are available in three sizes: small, medium, and large.

SNAPstop Interchangeable plantar flexion stop lnterchangeable plantar flexion stop feature The SNAPstop plantar flexion stop feature lets you make on-the-spot changes to sagittal alignment. No more glues and screws. The SNAPstop includes a molding blank and interchangeable bumpers. From either the top or the bottom, simply snap in the bumper that delivers the exact sagittal alignment you want. Benefits The SNAPstop feature offers maximum flexibility and adjustability. Adjustments are simple just snap the stop into place. The SNAPstop components are durable and can even outlast the ankle joint, reducing rework and eliminating failures.
