The Junior Cup The Illinois Youth Soccer Junior Cup is a multi-tiered statewide competition for 11U and 12U teams. The event includes the following divisions for 11U and 12U teams: Junior State Cup Junior Presidents Cup Junior Illinois Cup

ACCEPTED GAME CHANGES WILL BE POSTED IN YOUR GOTSOCCER SCHEDULES GAME CHANGE REQUESTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY APPROPRIATE DEADLINE. Home Team host games Some team will games designated as a HOME TEAM HOST MATCH. The team listed first on the bracket is the home team and should host unless: The teams agree to play at another location The game requires significant travel and should be played at a midpoint. Weather Cancelations If a match at a location other than Rockford is cancelled due to weather, teams should finalize a reschedule at the time of the cancelation and submit the new game info

Referees The Illinois Youth Soccer assignor assigns the ENTIRE REFEREE CREW for all Illinois Junior Cup matches. State Referee Assignor Info In case you have any last minute changes, cancellations or referee no shows for your match, you should contact the Illinois Youth Soccer referee assignor to notify the center. Rosters Teams are allowed to use any age eligible player from within their club that is registered with an Illinois Youth Soccer competitive league for tournament play. Those leagues are: YSSL, IWSL, CIYSL, SLYSA or ILLOWA. All players must have a US Youth Soccer/ IYSA Competitive league pass from and rostered thru one of the Illinois Youth Soccer member leagues listed above. A player can play on only 1 Junior Cup team. A player on a Junior Cup team CAN play up in State Cup or Presidents Cup at 13U or older

Rosters All players competing in Junior Cup matches MUST be entered into your official roster in GotSoccer NO LATER THAN: 48 hrs prior to first match if playing before designated weekend May 1 for 11U teams playing no earlier than May 5-6 May 8 for 12U teams playing no earlier than May 12-13

Rosters Once a team has played their first Group Play game, NO ROSTER CHANGES ARE ALLOWED FOR THE DURATION OF THE TOURNAMENT

Player Eligibility Players that compete in any of the following are INELIGIBLE FOR THE JUNIOR ILLINOIS CUP: Junior or regular State Cup or Presidents Cup State Premiership Division IWSL A or A/B Division YSSL 1 st or 2 nd Division CIYSL Major Club or Platinum SLYSA Premier Division

Gameday Teams are required to bring the following to all tournament Games: 1. Gamecard printed off GotSoccer IF PLAYING AT LOCATION OTHER THAN NAPERVILLE OR ROCKFORD 2. Player and Coaching Passes 3. Pinnies UP TO 18 PLAYERS ARE ALLOWED TO DRESS ON GAMEDAYS. After The Match At the conclusion of the match the winning team (or home team if a draw in Group Play) should get BOTH game cards from the center. 1. For games played in Naperville or Rockford, at the conclusion of the match a team representative is required to bring the gamecard to the IYSA registration area to report the score 2. For matches held at a location other than Rockford, the winning team is required to scan or take a photo of BOTH gamecards and email them to katie@illinoisyouthsoccer.org no later than 48 hours after the conclusion of the match. Teams that fail to report their result in a timely manor may be subject to a $50 fine If a red card is issued during the match, the center will keep the gamecard to submit with the red card report. Any player or coach that is issued a red card (or 2 yellows) is REQUIRED TO SIT THE NEXT MATCH or longer, WHETHER OR NOT THE PLAYER IS CROSSED OFF ON THE GOTSOCCER GAMECARD. Teams that use a player that should be serving a red card suspension will FORFEIT THE MATCH. Red Card Fines: Players: $50. Must be paid prior to the player being eligible to return to Cup games Coach: $150. Must be paid prior to coach be eligible to return to sidelines for a Cup game. Any outstanding red card fines not paid at the conclusion of the tournament will be billed to the club.

Playing Rules Group Play Scoring Group play will be based on the same scoring used at the US Youth Soccer Midwest Regionals: Win: 3 points Tie: 1 points Loss: 0 points If group play ends in a tie, the following criteria will determine tie-breakers. 1st: Head-to-head 2nd: Most Wins 3rd: Goal Differential (4 goal max per game) 4th: Goals Allowed 5th: Penalty Kicks
