The bandstand at the Rochester Common was built in 1914 by Miles Dustin. Until the 1980 s cars would park on the common for the concert and honk their horns in appreciation. In this same area, there is a playground and picnic tables along with a nicely landscaped bench area surrounding the bandstand that allow for an enjoyable evening for a concert with the family.
