SAME SCHEDULE TO RUN FOR ALL SHOW DATES AS ABOVE JUDGES WILL BE DIFFERENT FOR EACH SHOW The 22 nd July is a qualifier for the SWPA Championships 2017 The 20th August & the 16 th September are qualifiers for the SWPA Championships 2018 The 22 nd July is a qualifier for the 15+ Horse & Pony Events To qualify for the 2017 National Supreme Showing Championship Show on Sunday 13th August 2017 at Equifest, Peterborough, the three highest placed 15+ horse/pony in classes 7, 18, 33 & 48 will each qualify. The 22 nd July & the 20 th August are qualifiers for the Veteran Horse, Pony & Rider Veteran Champions which will take place on Sunday 24 th September 2017. The 16 th September will be a qualifier for the Veteran Championship Show 2018. This Show only is a qualifier for the Cherif Championship 2017. Open to registered Anglo and Part-bred Arab stallions, mares and geldings, four years old and over, any height. All Part-bred Arabs must contain the minimum 12.5% Arab blood. Novice classes or those mixed with Pure bred Arabs are not eligible for Cherif Championship qualification. The final will be held at the Cherif Championship show, Addington Manor Equestrian Centre, Addington, Bucks, in September 2017. STRETCHOLT EXTRAVAGANZA SHOWING CLASSES Winners of a Championship or Reserve Championship at one of Stretcholt s Unaffiliated Showing shows, plus horse/rider combinations or horse/handlers combinations who have won two 1sts in the same class at two out of the five shows, will qualify for the Supreme In Hand / Ridden Championship to take place during the evening performance on September 16th 2017. GENERAL RULES All competitors take part at their OWN RISK and are expected to exercise due care at all times and obey all notices displayed. The organisers and owner of the venue accepts no responsibility for any accident, loss or damage to any competitors, spectators, animals or property. It is a condition of entry that competitors will hold the organisers blameless and indemnify them against any damage or legal proceedings. Stretcholt Equestrian Centre recommends that all exhibitors should have adequate personal sports insurance. All accidents, injuries or falls should be reported to the Secretary. Correctly secured Skull Caps/Riding Hats Nos. All PAS015,VG1, ASTM F1163 04a onwards, SNELL E2001, AS/NZS 3838 2003 onwards, MUST be worn by riders at all times when mounted. The organisers reserve the right to alter the times of classes or the Judge if necessary without prior notice. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry of persons or ponies at the secretary s discretion without assigning a reason. Any objections must be in writing and must be given to the Secretary within 30 minutes of the completion of the relevant class, and accompanied by a fee of 15.00 which will be refunded should the objection be upheld. Unmannerly behavior towards officials will not be tolerated. No exercising in the rings, anyone doing so will be disqualified, unless permission has been given. NO ENTRY FEE WILL BE REFUNDED In Hand Stallions or Colts may NOT BE LED by any juniors who have not attained their 14 th birthday before the 1 st January in the current year. Any Ridden Stallion may NOT be ridden by a junior who has not attained their 14 th birthday before the 1 st January in the current year. Showing Canes MUST not exceed 30 long unless deemed to be dress code for the class entered. Lead Rein, First Ridden & Novice classes to be shown in snaffle bridles only. Judges will take into consideration the severity of the bit and their decision is final. Children under the age of three on the 1 st of January in the current year will be permitted to enter ridden classes at the combined discretion of the organiser s and the parents of the child. Riders must comply with the upper limit of the class entered. The Judge s decision is final Dogs to be kept on leads at all times. Horses/Ponies are not to be left tied to the side of a trailer or lorry NO HORSEBOXES TO BE MUCKED OUT ON SHOWGROUND 10.00 PENALTY BY LAW This show is a qualifier for the South West Pony Association Championships to be held on the 31 st August to the 3 rd September 2017 at The David Broome Event Centre, Crick, Gwent. NP26 5XP. To qualify for the Championships: 1. Enter one of the qualifying classes. 2. Be one of the two highest placed exhibits not already qualified within the first four and receive a qualification card signed in the ring. 3. Complete the entry form on the qualification card. 4. Return the card together with any registration fees due within 14 days of this show.
