L o c a l r u l e s 9 Members should conduct themselves at all times in a manner befitting the traditions of the Club and the etiquette of golf. 1. G e n e r a l The Course is open from 09:00 every day and closes at dusk. The Clubhouse is open from 08:00 every day. The use of mobile phones and audible beeps is strictly prohibited within the perimeters of the club apart from the car park. With the exception of Cadet and Junior members, children under 16 years of age may not play on the Golf Course unless they have the permission of the General Manager. Dogs or any other pets are not permitted anywhere on the premises. The Club disclaims any responsibility or liability whatsoever for the loss or damage of property entrusted to a member of staff for safekeeping or any other purpose, or property left on the Club's premises. 1 / 10

2. G o l f C l u b It is strictly forbidden for members to make use of the Club for professional, political or business purposes. Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests whilst at Valderrama. No Member shall give money or gratuity to any member of staff in any area of the Club. The Christmas Box covers all gratuities. Any Member having cause for complaint should address his complaint in writing to the General Manager. A Member having a complaint against any staff member must not personally reprimand the member of staff, but should address his complaint directly to the General Manager. Members must be in possession of a license from the Royal Spanish Golf Federation. No reserved starting times are available during Member's playing times. During greenfees visitors times the 1st tee is closed to Members. Members arriving by car must enter into the Golf Club through the main entrance. 3. G o l f C a r t s Members arriving by Golf Cart may enter through the entrance between the Pro Shop building and the car park. Members using their own golf carts must use electric carts of the same tone of green as those of Club de Golf Valderrama. A maximum of 2 people and 2 golf bags per golf cart is permitted. Golf carts owned by members must be fully insured. 2 / 10

4. A n n u a l D u e s Annual dues must be paid not later than 31st January each year. Annual dues not paid by 28th February will be liable to a surcharge of 20%. Any Member failing to pay his/her dues by Easter Week will be reported to the Board of Governors of the Club. Any Member who still has not paid his/her dues by 30th June will cease to be a Member of the Club. 5. G u e s t s No guest can use the practice area until his member host arrives and signs him in. Members must sign in their guests in Reception before playing. Members may introduce a maximum of 3 accompanied guests per day to play golf. However, during Easter Week and at any other time determined by the Board, a maximum of 1 accompanied guest per day will apply. Members are entitled to introduce up to 50 accompanied guests per year at a preferred rate of 65 euros. They can introduce a further 22 accompanied guests throughout the year at a special rate of 120 euros per guest. This will not affect the Member's entitlement to introduce unaccompanied guests. Members who are not playing at the Club on a certain day can introduce up to 4 unaccompanied guests, up to a maximum of 12 guests in one year. Members must contact the General Manager in advance in order to reserve starting times for their unaccompanied guests. Reservations for members' unaccompanied guests are not accepted in August or during Easter Week. Starting times for Member's unaccompanied guests are limited to a maximum of 1 per day at 14:15hrs at the rate of 180. 3 / 10

Members are ultimately responsible for the payment of the Members unaccompanied guest's fee. No non member, guest or visitor may play more than seven times in one year or twice in any month. It is the Member's responsibility to ensure that his/her guest does not exceed these limits. If the guest is staying in the Members house or in any accommodation paid by the Member he will not be restricted to playing twice in one month, but the seven times in one year rule still applies. The house guest rule applies to unaccompanied guests, however in such case the guest will pay the full green fee. Members will be asked to sign the standard house guest form confirming that their guest is staying with them or is being accommodated by them. 6. A c c o u n t P a y m e n t s Members will be issued with a Member's Card which they should use for all transactions at the Golf Club. Members are asked to settle payment of all outstanding balances by direct debit. However, payment can also be made on receipt of the account by cheque or bank transfer. Outstanding balances not settled within 90 days will be liable to a surchage of 20%. If the account is still not settled after 180 days, it will be reported to the Board of Governors. 7. G r e e n F e e V i s i t o r s Green fee visitors will be allowed to book starting times daily in accordance with the year planner availability, except on dates reserved for Members only, or when there are any special groups approved by the Board of Governors. 4 / 10

8. J u n i o r & C a d e t M e m b e r s Cadet Members must be accompanied by a full member when on the golf course, driving range and inside the clubhouse, except in special circumstances and when authorized by the President or General Manager. Cadet and Junior Members may not invite guests. 9. C l u b h o u s e & G o l f C o u r s e a ) D r e s s C o d e Golf shoes with soft spikes must be worn at all times on the course. No other type of spikes and shoes are permitted. Golf caps and hats must not be worn inside the Clubhouse. No golf shoes are permitted in the Members' Section. Golf shoes are only allowed in the Spike Bar and on the terraces. From 1st May until 1st November a long sleeved shirt may be worn as an alternative to a jacket and tie for Dinner and the Sunday Buffet. At all other times smart casual clothes are acceptable and knee length Bermuda shorts may be worn at the Member's discretion. No shorts are permitted in the evening in the Restaurant, or for the Sunday Buffet. Blue jeans, short shorts and men's t-shirts are strictly prohibited at all times. This dress code also applies to the golf course. Ladies should be appropriately dressed in line with the above. Members are responsible for advising their guests of the dress code. The Restaurant Staff are responsible for ensuring that visitors are dressed correctly at all times. 5 / 10

b ) T h e R e s t a u r a n t, M e m b e r s B a r & S p i k e B a r The Restaurant is open for dinner to Members and the public on Thursdays and Fridays from 20:00 and for the Sunday buffet from 13:00. Reservations are recommended. The Members' Bar is open from 08:00 until dark for the exclusive use of Members and their guests. When requested by the Member, the President or General Manager may authorize unaccompanied Members' guests to have lunch in the Members' Bar. They may also use their discretion to authorize special guests to have lunch, provided that they comply with the dress code. Smoking is only permitted in the Ryder Cup room. The Members Bar is not open at night for dinner. The Spike Bar is open from 8:00h until dark for members, their guests and visitors, but is not open for dinner. c ) C l u b h o u s e G e n e r a l R u l e s Any Member intentionally breaking or causing damage to the property of the Club will be reported to the Board of Governors and will be called upon to make good the damage. No card games, backgammon or any other gambling pursuits other than Bridge are permitted in the Club. The snooker table must always be covered after use. No child under the age of 10 may be admitted to the Clubhouse unless with the permission of the General Manager. Members' children under the age of 10 may be allowed to accompany members to the Sunday buffet and selected events under special circumstances with the permission of the General Manager. 6 / 10

1 0. G o l f C o u r s e The rules of the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews apply at Valderrama. The rules and etiquette of the game of golf apply at all times. During busy periods Members are strongly urged to play fourballs only. Members should particularly observe the following rules from the Rules of Golf, Section 1, Etiquette. " C o n s i d e r a t i o n f o r O t h e r P l a y e r s " * The player who has the honour should be allowed to play before his opponent or fellow competitor tees his ball. * No-one should move, talk or stand close to or directly behind the ball or the hole when a player is addressing the ball or making a stroke. " P a c e o f P l a y " * In the interest of all, players should play without delay. Players searching for a ball should signal the players behind to pass as soon as it becomes apparent that the ball will not easily be found. They should not search for five minutes before doing so. They should not continue to play until the players following them have passed and are out of range. * When the play of the hole has been completed, players should immediately leave the putting green. * If a match fails to keep its pace on the course and loses more than one clear hole on the players in front, it should invite the match following to pass. * In accordance with the rules of etiquette, any group not proceeding at the speed of the course must allow the players to play through as soon as it is practicable. As a general rule, fourballs should give way to foursomes, three-balls and two-balls. * In case of slow play all players (members, guests and visitors must follow the rangers advice. 7 / 10

" C a r e o f t h e C o u r s e " * Before leaving the bunker, a player should use one of the rakes to carefully fill up and smooth over all holes and footprints made by him. * Replace divots; repair ball-marks. * Members are responsible for repairing pitch marks and ensuring that their guests do the same. * Members are responsible for replacing divots and ensuring that their guests do the same. * Where not possible divots should be filled with sand. All golf carts are equipped with sand boxes. Through the green, a player should ensure that any turf cut or displaced by him/her is replaced at once and pressed down and that any damage to the putting green made by a ball is carefully and correctly repaired. 11. P l a y Members must always wait until the group in front of them has left the first green before teeing off from the 1st tee. Golf carts must strictly follow the signage on the course and under no circumstances may they be driven onto the roped-off area surrounding the greens. The same rule applies to manual and electric hand trolleys. Members, their guests and visitors must not retrieve balls other than their own from any of the lakes. Playing with practice balls is prohibited. Members may only play with one ball at any time and at no time may they practice on the course. No more than 4 balls are permitted in play at any time in any game. 8 / 10

In the event that the General Manager (or in his absence, the Superintendent or Caddy Master) believes that a threat of lightning exists in the vicinity, all players must leave the course immediately. 1 2. L o c a l r u l es All ditches except those adjacent to the cart paths are to be considered lateral water hazards. The flower beds to the right of the 16th fairway ditch are to be considered lateral water hazards. 9 / 10
