This is our major fundraiser for the year and once again we will look to our members, families and friends to help us out on the day. We will require time keepers, recorders, marshals, runners, bbq chefs, food & drink sellers. These are just some of the positions that need to be filled on the day. Whether you can help us for a couple for hours or the whole day your assistance is greatly appreciated. Please let George Ross know what you can do to help us. We also ask that you bring in some food on the day to feed our hungry volunteers with. Something that is not too messy and can be easily eaten with fingers. A copy of the program is attached to this newsletter. Change of Details It is most important to keep us informed of a change of address, phone number or email address. Swimming Success Story Lachlan Hanratty who attends William Carey Christian School participated in his school swimming carnival in the multi class events. Lachlan won all the school events and progressed onto the next level. At the CSSA carnival in March Lachlan won the 50mtr Freestyle, 50mtr Backstroke, 50mtr Breaststroke and 50mtr Butterfly setting new records in each event. He then went onto the CIS Carnival and again he won the Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke and Butterfly 50mtr events. Lachlan also set a new record in the 50mtr Breaststroke. Lachlan was also Disability Swimmer at both the CSSA and CIS Carnivals. With this great success Lachlan then competed at the PSSA All Schools Carnival. He came 2nd in the 50mtr Freestyle, 50mtr Breaststroke and 100mtr Freestyle, achieving PB s in all three events. With such good results Lachlan has earned himself a place on the SSA Primary Schools Team to swim at the National Championships in Darwin in September. Lachlan you and your parents must be so proud of your achievements. All your hard work and dedication has certainly paid off. We wish you all the best for the September meet. Joke of the Week Q: Why was the police officer under the blanket? A: Because he was working under cover!

AS SEEN ON 7 NEWS LAST NIGHT Did you know there is a 2% difference between the cheapest and the most expensive home loan interest rates on the market? But with over 100 lenders offering over 1,100 different loans, how do you know how your home loan interest rate compares with the others? Do you have time to look up the rates of all these lenders and call them to see what they can sell you? Don t forget, they are not working for you, they just want to sell you their own product. Well that s where a great mortgage broker is invaluable. A mortgage broker will listen to what you need, not just for now, but for the future as well. They then work on your behalf to find the best loan to suit your individual requirements. All this at no cost to you. All it takes is one call to your local broker, and major sponsor of our swim club, Graham Ede at Yellow Brick Road Belmore to get the ball rolling. Graham will meet with you at a place and time that is convenient to you, listen to what you need, then search the market for the best loan to suit you. Make the call that could save you thousands.
