WARNING YOUR NEW ELECTRIC BUBBLEGUM SKATEBOARD IS NOT A TOY NEVER RIDE BEYOND YOUR EXPERIENCE LEVEL AND BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN PUSHING THE LIMITS OF YOUR BOARD. CARS AND OTHER VEHICLES ARE VERY DANGEROUS Always be aware of your surroundings and the laws that apply to public roads, paths and sidewalks in your area. Assume that cars and other vehicles cannot see you and take necessary precautions to keep yourself safe. DO NOT RIDE ON WET SURFACES Riding on wet surfaces is extremely dangerous on any skateboard, electric or otherwise. Skateboard wheels cannot handle wet streets and become very slippery. Damage due to water is not covered under your warranty. 1

POWER LOSS AND RADIO INTERFERENCE It is possible that your skateboard could lose power and brakes due to radio interference, a dead battery or damage caused by a dropped controller. When this happens your skateboard will behave like an unpowered skateboard. Do not ride at speeds you would be uncomfortable with on a traditional skateboard. DO NOT RELY ON THE BRAKES TO SAVE YOU! TAKE IT SLOW Powered Skateboards have a completely different feel compared to a traditional skateboard. Your board has a tremendous amount of torque and will take some getting used to. It is best to find a smooth empty parking lot to practice on when you are first starting out. Learn to control your board in a controlled environment before hitting the streets and sidewalks. ALWAYS WEAR PADS AND A HELMET! 2

CHARGING YOUR SKATEBOARD Charging your board is easy, simply plug it in. Like all electronic devices, it is a good idea to never leave it charging unattended. The board will charge to full in about 3 hours. It is fine to leave it on the charger longer as the battery managment will sense when it is fully charged and stop charging. 5

WIRELESS REMOTE OPERATION Brake Throttle C Button Cruise Control Z Button Turbo Sync Indicator Power 6

WIRELESS REMOTE OPERATION 1. Turn skateboard on, on/off switch located near non-drive side rear wheel. 2. Turn nunchuck remote on. 3. Hold down C button for 5 seconds to sync the nunchuck to the skateboard. After 5 seconds with C button still pressed, gently press throttle stick forward to confirm operation. 4. GO PUT YOUR HELMET ON! Use the throttle only (no buttons) to accelerate -- forward for faster, back for brakes. At center / neutral the board should coast freely. The throttle has some built-in smoothing, by default it should take about 1-2 seconds for full throttle (slam the stick forward) to send a full blast signal to the skateboard. Brakes are never smoothed. Any braking input (including 100% brakes) is applied immediately to the skateboard without delay. Z button -- Turbo With throttle only, Z provides raw input -- pressing the stick forward to the limit will immediately send a 100% signal to the skateboard. This has no effect when braking (brakes are always raw). C button -- Cruise Control There are several functions for the C button: AUTO CRUISE A very slow speed, the minimum speed at which the board will operate while holding C. Good for kicking off and rolling at a walking pace. A nice, gentle start. 7

NORMAL CRUISE: ACCELERATE, DECELERATE While holding C, bump the stick up. The board will slightly increase speed. Hold throttle stick up and it will continually increase. By default, it takes about 10 seconds for the board to go from neutral to 100% in cruise; you can bump the stick to increase in very small steps. While holding C, press the stick down (or bump down) to slow. Release C and the board will coast. Brakes will work normally when C is released. FINE TUNING YOUR WIRELESS REMOTE 1. Turn the board over. 2. Press & hold C. 3. Still holding C, use the throttle to get the wheels moving slowly. Up to increase speed, down to decrease. 4. Hold C + Z, press the stick fully left (or right), hold for more than 3 seconds. 5. Let go of the stick, holding C. The wheels should continue spinning at the same slow speed. 6. Let go of C/Z let the wheels stop. Press and hold C. The wheels should start spinning at the same slow speed. 7. Put the board on the ground, kick off, hold C. The board should move at the configured very slow speed. Use the stick to set an appropriate speed, then hold right for more than 5 seconds. 8. Coast to a stop, then kick off and hold C to confirm the new setting. 8

NEVER DO THIS STUFF 1. DO NOT ride off curbs or jumps. Our boards use sensitive electronic components that are designed to perfectly handle vibration and the light shocks. However, our boards cannot handle hard shocks caused by jumps, ollies or riding over curbs. 2. DO NOT ride in the rain. Riding in the rain and wet conditions are not only extremely dangerous but water damage is not covered under warranty. 3. DO NOT take off your helmet. You are going over 20mph on a skateboard, leave your helmet on. 4. DO NOT modify the electronic components of the board. Any modificatins to elctronic components can be potentially dangerous and will immediately void your warranty. MAINTANENCE 1. INSPECT YOUR BOARD FOR DAMAGE BEFORE EVERY RIDE. 2. Never clean with harsh chemicals. Never use WD40 or other lubricants on any part of the skateboard. 3. Clean with slightly damp cloth only. 4. Pulley belt should have a little slack in it. Never over tighten belt. 5. Wheels, pulleys and belts are conisdered wear items. Replacement parts are available on our site, www.bubblegumboards.com 6. Grip tape can be replaced at your discretion on all non-custom boards. Custom board owners please email info@bubblegumboards.com before attempting to replace grip tape. 9

7. If your board has stopped functioning please email us at info@bubble gumboards.com for warranty help. Warranty There is a 6 Month warranty on manufacturer defects. For most defects we will send you the replacement part and walk you through how to replace it, depending on level of difficulty. Item Return Policy Only if there is a manufacturer defect, products may be returned to us for a refund within 2 months by prior arrangement and subject to the goods being labelled by the purchaser with a return authorization number allocated by Electric Bubblegum Skateboards.
