MATERIAL SAFETY DATA SHEET PREMIUM LITHIUM COMPLEX SECTION 1: Product Name Supplier Product Type PRODUCT AND COMPANY IDENTIFICATION PREMIUM LITHIUM COMPLEX PETRON CORPORATION JESUS ST., PANDACAN, MANILA PHLIPPINES Lithium Complex Grease Emergency Phone No. (632) 563-3121 NFPA Hazard Identification 1 1 0 Hazard Blue Health Red Flammability Yellow Reactivity White - Special Degree of Hazard 0 Least 1 Slight 2 Moderate 3 High 4 - Extreme SECTION 2: Hazardous Ingredients COMPOSITION / INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS The composition of this product is proprietary information. In general, the product does not contain any component that may be a significant health and safety hazard as long as normal precautions in greases are observed and good standards of industrial and personal hygiene are maintained. However, in the event of a medical emergency, compositional information will be provided to the attending physician or nurse if necessary. SECTION 3: Primary Entry Routes Target Organs HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION Eye contact, skin contact or absorption, inhalation of vapors Eyes, skin, respiratory system Slightly irritating on direct contact Low order of toxicity. Prolonged or repeated contact may result in the defatting of skin, leading to irritation and possibly dermatitis. Product has low vapor pressure and is not expected to present an inhalation hazard at ambient conditions. Caution should be taken to prevent misting of this product. Exposures below 5 mg/m3 appear to be without significant health risk. Minimal toxicity Page 1 of 5

Other Information Long-term exposure to small doses of base oil by inhalation, aspiration or ingestion can lead to lipid pneumonia or lipid granuloma of the lung. These are low-grade, chronic, localized tissue reactions. Shortness of breath and cough are most common symptoms. SECTION 4: FIRST AID MEASURES Immediately flush eyes with large amount of water for at least 15 minutes or until irritation subsides. If irritation persists, get prompt medical attention. Immediately flush with large amount of water; use soap if available. Remove contaminated clothing, including shoes, and launder before reuse. This product has a low vapor pressure and is not expected to present an inhalation problem at ambient temperature. However, if overexposed to oil mist, using proper respiratory protection, immediately remove the affected person immediately to fresh air. Administer artificial respiration if breathing is stopped. Keep at rest. Call for prompt medical attention. If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting. If individual is conscious, give milk or water to dilute stomach contents. Keep warm and quiet. Get immediate medical attention. DO NOT attempt to give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. SECTION 5: Extinguishing Media Special Fire-fighting Procedures Decomposition Products Under Fire Conditions FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES In case of fire use foam, carbon dioxide or dry chemical extinguishers. Water jets should not be used directly on igniting products. Avoid spraying water directly into storage containers due to danger of over-boil. However, water may be used to cool exposed containers, structures and equipment adjacent to fire. Respiratory and eye protection required for fire-fighting personnel. Fumes, smoke, oxides of sulfur, nitrogen, carbon and other toxic gases may be formed. SECTION 6: Land Spill Water Spill ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Taking normal safety precaution, eliminate sources of ignition. Prevent additional discharge of material, if possible to do so without hazard. For small spills, implement cleanup procedures. For large spills, implement clean-up procedures and, if in public area, keep public away and advise authorities. Prevent material from entering sewers, water courses, or low areas. Contain spilled material with sand or earth. Recover by scraping. Consult an expert on disposal of recovered material and ensure conformity to local disposal regulations. Use booms to confine spills immediately. Remove from water surface by skimming or with suitable adsorbents. If allowed by local authorities and environmental agencies, sinking and/or suitable dispersants may be used in Page 2 of 5

non-confined waters. Consult an expert on disposal of recovered material and ensure conformity to local disposal regulations. SECTION 7: Handling Procedures Storage Procedures HANDLING AND STORAGE Keep away from potential sources of ignition. Open container in a well ventilated area. Avoid breathing vapors. Keep containers closed when not in use. Wash thoroughly after handling. Empty containers and retain product residue (liquid or vapor) can be dangerous. Do not pressurize, cut, weld, braze, solder, drill, grind or expose containers to heat, flame, sparks, static electricity or other sources of ignition; they may explode and cause death or injury. Empty drums should be completely drained, properly bunged and promptly returned to a drum re-conditioner, or properly disposed of. Store in a cool dry place with adequate ventilation. Keep at temperature not exceeding 50 C. Keep containers away from sparks, flame and strong oxidants. SECTION 8: Ventilation Procedures Skin Protection Eye Protection Respiratory Protection Others EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION The use of local exhaust ventilation is recommended to control mists or vapors. Additional ventilation or exhaust may be required to maintain air concentrations below exposure limits. No skin protection is required for single, short duration, exposures. For prolonged, repeated exposures and if handling hot materials, use impervious clothing (boots, aprons, etc.) over parts of the body subject to exposure. Eye protection is not required under conditions of normal use. If materials are handled such that they could be splashed into the eyes, wear plastic face shield or splash-proof safety goggles. Respiratory protection is not required under conditions of normal use. If vapor or mist generated when the materials are heated or handled, use an organic vapor respirator with dust and mist filter. All respirators must be NIOSH certified. Do not use compressed oxygen in hydrocarbon atmospheres. Consumption of food and beverage should be avoided in work areas where hydrocarbons are present. Always wash hands and face with soap and water before eating and drinking. SECTION 9: Appearance PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES Amber paste Worked Penetration at 25 C, 60X, 281 100 g, 5 secs., mm/10 Dropping Point, C 263 Page 3 of 5
