Prez Sez By: Ben Moore It was great to see so many members out at the meeting at 502 Auto Club in January, that was a great way to begin our 2012. I know that everyone left impressed with the beautiful facility those guys have built out there, it s amazing and I m pretty sure we could have eaten off the floor! Conclave plans are rolling along and we are closer each day to our goal. Thanks to all those that are really pitching in to make this Conclave a wonderful experience for all our attendees. I can tell you without a doubt that this will be a once-in-a-lifetime, first-class event that people are going to be talking about for a long time! It s exciting to see all this lying ahead of us, knowing that we have something truly great on our hands. But, we need your support and help. At the January meeting we unveiled the big boards, volunteer signup sheets. Those sheets are included in this newsletter so you can review and decide where and when you want to work. Keep in mind that these shifts are based on the current schedule and may change a bit. However, please sign up and let me know when you want to work! The earlier you respond the better choice of shifts you get. It seems the new meeting structure worked out well. I appreciate the feedback from the folks in attendance and I ll continue to build presentations like the one you saw. It makes for a fun and more structured meeting that still moves along nicely and is entertaining. If you didn t make it in January be sure to join us this month to see what all the buzz is about! Also, at the February meeting we hope to share more new details of our Conclave and begin taking Regalia orders. I ask that you do Joyce Wilding a favor and order your regalia before the event so that it makes her life that much easier. Plus, some of the items are pre-order only so stay tuned! See you at Wicks on February 28! The Conclave Car Show will now be held at Waterfront Park in the Festival Plaza section Bluegrass Austin Healey Club

I thought you guys would get a kick out of these. They remind me of what my Dad, Lauren Frazier, would find humorous and share with you! Laws of Probability: 1-Law of Mechanical Repair - After your hands become coated with grease, your nose will begin to itch and you'll have to pee. 2-Law of Gravity - Any tool, nut, bolt, screw, when dropped, will roll to the least accessible corner. 3-Law of Probability - The probability of being watched is directly proportional to the stupidity of your act.... 4-Law of the Result - When you try to prove to someone that a machine won't work, it will. 5-Wilson's Law of Commercial Marketing Strategy - As soon as you find a product that you really like, they will stop making it. Have a great day!
