2016 Junior Code of Conduct Before The Country Club of Lexington will accept you as a member of the Junior Golf Program you and you parent(s) must read and agree to the following Codes of Conduct. Code of Conduct Violations on the Golf Course Include Un-sportsman-like conduct including obscene, abusive or vulgar language. Club throwing Disrespect to the club members, club staff or fellow competitors Abuse of Golf Course property Dress Code (Required Dress) Hats/caps/visors must be worn with the brim forward Shirts must be worn and tucked in at all times while at the golf facility Shorts must be golf/dress shorts, not running or basketball shorts Shoes must be worn at all times. Spikeless golf shoes or tennis/athletic shoes only Prohibited Dress Tank tops, T-Shirts, Denim shorts, short-shorts, cut-off shorts, gym shorts, jeans, spandex, sweats, bathing suits, & halter-tops. Code of Conduct Violation Penalties Any Code of Conduct violation, as reported by members of the club and/or other junior members may result in a written letter to the player and his/her parent/guardian. Repeated incidents of reported unsportsman-like conduct will eliminate the junior from consideration for play days, clinics, and tournaments. AGES- 6-11 (Beginner Golfers / 1 st 15 Juniors To Sign Up) The SwingThought.com Tour is a developmental class for juniors looking to learn the basics of golf and begin to sharpen their skills. We will teach them the basics of the Golf Swing, Short Game, Rules of Golf, & Etiquette. Each week we will work on a different aspect of the golf game. We will continue to have drive, chip, & putt competitions each week and also play days for the juniors throughout the summer. Students of this class will also have an opportunity to compete in the season long point s race for the SwingThought.com Tour Class. AGES- 9-13 (Should be able to break 60 for 9 holes / 1 st 15 Juniors To Sign Up) The Web.com Tour class is for the junior golfer who has just started competing and has a basic knowledge of the golf swing. We will start to go a little more in depth with the Golf Swing, Short Game, Course Management, & Rules of Golf. Students will learn drills, new practice routines, and understand how to compete at the next level of junior golf. Each week we will work on a different aspect of the golf game. We will continue to have drive, chip, & putt competitions each week and also play days for the juniors throughout the summer. Students of this class will also have an opportunity to compete in the season long point s race for the Web.com Tour Class. AGES- 12-17 (Should be able to break 50 for 9 holes / 1 st 15 Juniors To Sign Up) The PGA Tour class is for the junior golfer who has competed at the High School Level (JV/ Varsity) and is ready to sharpen their skills to prepare for tournament play. We will start to go a little more in depth with the Golf Swing, Short Game, Course Management, & Rules of Golf. Students will learn drills, new practice routines, and learn to compete at the next level of junior golf. Each week we will work on a different aspect of the golf game. We will continue to have drive, chip, & putt competitions each week and also play days for the juniors throughout the summer. Students of this class will also have an opportunity to compete in the season long point s race for the PGA Tour class.
