As has become tradition, ITTF High Performance & Development are hosting the Pre-YOG Training Camp for the 3 rd time running. In August, Shanghai will become the hub of the Junior Table Tennis World when 45 of the world s top players prepare for their first Youth Olympic experience. Participants will not only benefit from the famously brilliant training environment of the China Table Tennis College, but will also be able to experience and enjoy numerous educational opportunities. Places are filled on a first-come first-served basis, and priority will be given to those already qualified for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games and members of other ITTF High Performance programs and projects, particularly the With the Future in Mind scholarship holders. Invited Players The Training Camp aims at providing a unique training and preparation opportunity to all the players qualified for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. The maximum number of participants is set to 45 and the entries will be considered on a first come-first served basis, considering the below priority lists: Call A: Players qualified for the 2018 YOG along with members of other ITTF High Performance programs and projects, in particular the With the Future in Mind scholarship holders. Call B: In case not all of the 45 available spots are filled, National Association may request to enter 1 additional player per gender, meaning that there can be up to 2 players per gender per National Association (up to 4 in total from the combined A and B Calls). The extra players must be ranked at least among the top 50 on the July 2018 U18 World Ranking List in order to be considered and priority will be given to higher ranked players. The final list of confirmed entries is subject to ITTF approval and it will be communicated by 12 July 2018. 4. Training Camp Coaching Team: The Team of Head Coaches will comprise coaches from the Chinese Table Tennis Association and the China Table Tennis College. The Head Coaches will be assisted by 2 or more coaches from CTTC, depending on the final number of entries, and will work in close cooperation with the coaches of the participating players. Number of Tables: 30 Training Partners: Minimum 6 training partners; exact number depending on the number of entries. Coach Education: Live educational sessions will be organized during the Training Camp. Page 3

Venue and Hospitality Venue: China Table Tennis College Training Hall No.399 Changhai Road, Yangpu District, Shanghai, China Hospitality: Transfers: Hotel Policy: Shanghai University of Sport Inter Communication Center No.588, QingYuanHuan Road, Yangpu District, Shanghai, China Pick-up and drop-off at Shanghai Airports, Pudong and Hongqiao, on official arrival day (7 August) and official departure day (25 August). - Cash deposit must be paid before check-in into the Hotel; - Any damage of items and/or equipment in the room must be covered by the guest of the room directly to the Hotel; - All the extras (except 3 daily meals) are not included in the room rate and will require an extra payment that will be charged by the Hotel directly and deducted from the deposit. 6. Participation Terms and Conditions Hospitality Rates: Hospitality Support: Hospitality includes accommodation on full board basis in the Shanghai University of Sport Hotel as above, which is located a 5 minute walk from the Training Hall. Double Room: US$90 person/day Single Room: US$120 person/day In cooperation with its partners, Seamaster and Olympic Solidarity, ITTF will provide support as follows: Players: - Full cover of the hospitality costs in a double room with full board meal plan for the entire duration of the Training Camp for up to 18 players, who are not otherwise supported by ITTF, for example With the Future in Mind scholarship holders; - Full cover of the hospitality costs in a double room with full board meal plan for the entire duration of the Training Camp for the With the Future in Mind scholarship holders, if qualified or not, whereby the activity/amount has to be included in the player s 2018 individual program; the scholarship can also be used to cover the traveling expenses to/from Shanghai. Coaches: - Provide a flat contribution of US$1,000 toward the hospitality costs for up to 15 coaches, maximum one per National Association, which ITTF will pay directly to the Host; the remainder and the traveling expenses have to be borne by the participating coaches. All the participants, players and coaches, must have a valid travel insurance covering but not limited to related travel, medical and life insurance; ITTF and the Local Organizers are not liable for any injury or loss. During the entire duration of the activity players must be supervised by their coaches. Please, note that according to the ITTF Policy for Underage Players, National Associations are responsible for the supervision and wellbeing of their participants, whereby a coach from the National Association must accompany the players, ideally a female, when female players are concerned.
