New Jersey Spartans Field Hockey Club We invite you to come and experience Spartans Field Hockey Club. Our exceptional coaching staff will provide you with the opportunity to develop and refine your fundamental and advanced skills. Our club provides the same level of coaching, instruction, and skill development for beginners who are experiencing field hockey for the first time, athletes who desire year round training, and athletes who would like to be part of a competitive travel team. Mission Statement: The primary goal of New Jersey Spartans Field Hockey Club is to develop, teach and refine fundamental and advanced field hockey skills and to increase tactical awareness of the game for middle school and high school players. Our extraordinary coaches focus on the individualized skill development of each player regardless of their level of play. Our coaches also educate each athlete on the physical and mental aspects of the game. One of our main objectives is for each of our athletes gain confidence in themselves as players and to develop and maintain enjoyment for the game. Our coaches have a proven track record for player development and for positioning our athletes for success at the collegiate level. Our coaches are passionate and energetic and they enjoy teaching the game and passing on their love of the game. Our staff is comprised of coaches that have excelled at field hockey and have competed locally and at international tournaments. Assisting our core coaching staff are coaches that have had successful collegiate careers.
