Dear Teachers and Parents, On behalf of the Higgins Academy of Irish Dancing, we are delighted and excited to present the 26 th Waterford South Eastern Championships in the scenic venue of The Rhu Glenn Hotel and Country Club. In recent years, the championships have expanded greatly, therefore, as a result, we decided to move to a larger, more spacious ballroom and run the event over the June bank holiday weekend. Commencing Saturday 3 rd June at 9.00 am (open/prelim championships) and Sunday 4 th June (all grade competitions) leaving the bank holiday Monday free for all families. This coupled with three experienced adjudicators and a wonderful musician, should result in a most enjoyable event for all. The Rhu Glenn Hotel is very accessible within yards of all approach roads to Waterford, therefore it is no longer necessary to enter the city, though you may take this opportunity to avail of the competitive rates offered to Feis goers at the Rhu Glenn (contact 051-832242) and decide to spend your bank holiday weekend enjoying all the sunny south east has to offer! We extend a special welcome to old friends and new and hope you take this chance to take to the floor before our fast approaching Mini Munsters /Irish Nationals.
