Referees Competition Rules All Federations may enter up to 2 referees with at least a continental licence. All teams of three competitors or more must be accompanied by at least 1 referee,which is the condition to participate in this tournament to meet the EJU requirements. Finals will be on 1 mat. Blue and white Judogis will be required. The size of Judogi and publicity on Judogi must be in accordance with IJF/EJU rules. The draw will be carried out at 20:00 at the Hotel RAMADA on Friday 9 th October. Collect accreditation at registration at the Hotel RAMADA on Friday 9 th October 14.00-18.00. All accreditation must be collected by 18.00. No accreditation passes will be available to collect after 18.00 on Friday. First Entry (Numerical) National Federations are requested to inform the Azerbaijan Judo Federation whether or not they will participate by the numerical entry form no later than 13 th of August 2010. 2. Final Entry National Federations are requested to send to the Azerbaijan Judo Federation the final inscription form by 27 th of September 2010. Hotel Package 3. JUMAS All entries, of European and non-european delegations, have to be registered in Jumas http://jumas.europejudo.com/ not later than the 27 th of September 2010. The nominal forms are for organizations purposes. All Participating Federations must pay to the EJU a fee of 10 Euro per athlete directly at the point of accreditation / registration. Antidoping control Liability Transfers After this date a 10% charge will be applied. No exceptions will be allowed. All participants not staying at the official Hotel will have a 100 fee.. The gold medal Winner and another medal winner, to be decided by draw, in each weight category have to participate in the doping control. Neither the organizers of the event, nor the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (nor any of its officials or members) will be liable or responsible for any accident or health insurance, nor the civil liabilities arising out of your Participation and traveling in connection with this tournament. The Azerbaijan Judo Federation provides transfers within Baku for national delegations inscribed by official entry list and staying in the Official hotel. You are requested to send your full travel schedule by 20 September 2010. Organizer cannot guarantee transfer from Baku airport or Baku railway station to/from the Hotel unless precise above-mentioned information is given until 8 September 2010.
Visas Judogi Competition formula The visa registration will be provided upon the arrival at Baku International Airport named after Heydar Aliyev and in Embassies of Azerbaijan. The competitions will be held in white and blue judogi. Judogi markings must be in accordance with the EJU regulations. In order to enforce the proper size and measurements of judogi as defined by the Competition Rules and fair conditions for athletes, the special measuring device SOKUTEIKI and a new procedure of judogi control will be used. The top 8 athletes, according to the World Ranking List, entered in the World Cup, will be seeded in each category. The rest of the draw will be seeded by Nationality. The System of Competition will be the elimination system with quarter final repechage. Flag and Anthem Back Numbers Each National Federation must bring one flag and cassette tape/cd with the short version of their national anthem. To be given to the organizers at registration on Friday. All participants must have their surname and country on the back of their Judogi, as explained in the below image. The sponsor back numbers will be ordered according to the numerical inscriptions. 1. Each competitor taking part in the EJU events is obliged to have on the back of his judogi the official back number made up of two parts: the FIXED upper part consisting of the Surname and the National Olympic Abbreviation; the CHANGEABLE bottom part consisting of the event name and the sponsors, unique for each event. 2. The participating athlete / federation is responsible for ordering and sewing of the FIXED part of the back number, which must be the official EJU / IJF one. It should be ordered from www.mybacknumber.com. Production and delivery takes around 4 weeks. 3. The CHANGEABLE part will be given to the head of delegation during registration, and the athletes can stick it themselves using the special glue on the back number. In case the participating federation sends fewer athletes than registered in the numerical entry, the federation will be charged the cost of the back number of all cancelled athletes. 3 cm 1 cm
