Pucks are t be picked up and placed in the bucket r n the rail inside the benches. If a puck is sht nt the bench, a 2 minute minr penalty will be issued prir t puck drp. ZERO TOLERANCE If yur team has a questin abut a call that a referee makes, then please have yur captain address the referees at an apprpriate time. If yu are called fr 2 minutes, sit yur penalty befre it escalates t a 10 minute miscnduct r t a Game Miscnduct. If yu cntinue in harassing the ref, yu will be called fr a 2 minute unsprtsmanlike (abuse f fficial). Suspensins: If a player receives a suspensin n ne f their teams, they will sit the required number f games fr that team. If that player plays n multiple teams, they cannt play fr the ther teams while they are n suspensin. The referee shall call the game and g thrugh the prcess f USA Hckey rule bk fr all penalties. Hwever, if an incident needs t be reviewed the league directr will review it t see if additinal suspensin is needed. If a player participates in a game while they are n suspensin, the game will be deemed a frfeit.
Off-ice incidents at the rink may include game suspensins fr a players team they are playing fr at the time f the incident. Standards f Game Miscnducts based n the number f Game Miscnducts they receive during a seasn, regardless f the number f teams yu play fr. 1 GM in a game = Player will sit fr 1 game 2 GM in a seasn = Player sits fr 2 games 3 GM in a seasn = Player is suspended fr the seasn Player Cde f Cnduct: Alchl and playing hckey d NOT mix. If a referee determines that a player is intxicated, the referee will remve the player frm the game if they feel they are a ptential harm t thers safety fr this reasn. If a player refuses t leave, their team will frfeit and NO game will be played during that ice time. If there are issues n the ice that are happening and yur team feels they are nt being addressed in the game, the captain needs t apprach the referee in between perids depending n the severity f the issue. The captain needs t be the ne cmmunicating t the refs abut issues n the ice but need t d it in a prfessinal manr and apprpriate time. If the captain feels it wasn t addressed, then the captain needs t cntact Eric Lawless. If there is an altercatin n the ice, the etiquette is t leave it n the ice. D nt take the issue ff the ice. If fr sme reasn, it is escalated that high and it leaves the ice, yu need t be prepared t face a ptential suspensin that is NOT in cnjunctin with penalties n the ice. The Oilers Ice Center will nt tlerate threats ff f the ice, fighting in the lbby, destrying items r prperty, r causing a scene in the pen public. Any incident culd be subject t review. Remember, the rink is a kid friendly envirnment and we as the adult hckey players at the rink are the examples f what the kids are lking up t as they are watching. I understand emtins can get high n the ice during play, but we need t leave it n the ice. Game Rules

In the event f a game in the third perid with 60 secnds r less, the clck will be stpped at every whistle when the game is within 1 gal. Ties: Regular Seasn Game: If the game ends in a tie, then the game will cnduct a three persn shtut, with hme having the ptin t g first r last. If it is still a tie after the shtut, then the game is a tie. Playffs: If the game ends in a tie, a 5 minute 4 vs 4 OT will take place. If the game is still tied after OT, then the game will cnduct a three persn shtut, with hme having the ptin t g first r last. If the game is still tied after the three persn shtut, then the game turns int a sudden death shtut, meaning 1 fr 1 until a winner is reached. All players must rtate thrugh befre a player is allwed t g again. Any penalized player during game play will nt be able t participate during the shtut. All games are NO checking. Hwever angling is prhibited. Seasns Every year, Oilers Ice Center perate fur seasns (Winter, Spring, Summer, & Fall). During each seasn, each team will be scheduled fr 10 games. Yur infrmatin will be dispersed t the captains and they will cntact yu when they have an pening. Team Registratin: Teams MUST register with tw ptins f payments, either the team pays in full r the team will put a 50% depsit dwn and have the remainder 50% paid by the secnd week f the seasn. If a team fails t make the final payment, they will receive a 5 game schedule fr that seasn with n playffs. Once the schedule is written passed this, the league will nt add that team back nt the schedule. League fees are payable with check, cash, credit card (if paying with American Express yu will need t call Justin t setup payment). Payments can be made ver the phne r in persn. Once a team is paid, there will be n refunds. Individual player refunds will need t be handled amngst the team. Each team s captain is respnsible fr building their rster t fit int the divisin f their chice. If a rster des nt fit int the divisin f their chice based n the rster levels, that team will be mved up a divisin. Each team may rster up t 25 skaters and can use any league apprved galie fr each divisin fr their games. All rsters will be submitted t the league directr by the Secnd week f play. All rsters are then apprved unless the league directr respnds with questins abut the rster. Players must be 18 by their first night f play t participate
Plicing f team rsters and detectin f illegal players is primarily the respnsibility f the individual teams. If an illegal player is fund, the captain may ntify the ref. If the player desn t have a sticker r their sticker clr is ut f range fr that divisin, they player will be remved frm the game, (all USA Hckey rules apply n illegal player during the game). The League may, hwever, declare a game a frfeit if it is fund a team is aviding the rules r the league and/r USA Hckey. The name f an illegal (nn-rster) player, defined as any player wh des nt have cmplete paperwrk n file with the league, plays r appears n the ice. A suspended player dresses while under suspensin League r game fficials recgnize an illegal player n the ice. The number f players dressed fr any game is mre than the number f players listed n the scre sheet. In cases where a player s identity is in questin, the prtesting team has the right t require that said player prduce a valid pht I.D. Any player unable t prduce valid I.D. will autmatically be declared illegal, unless a league r game fficial is present wh can vuch fr his identity. In the absence f any such verificatin, a frfeit declared in favr f the prtesting team may ccur after the game. Rsters fr Game Day: Each team may use ne f their listed subs n their rster. If the ppsing team believes that their ppnent is using a nn-rstered player, it will be reviewed by the league directr by email request after the game. If a rster is fund t be invalid, then the rster in questin will cause that team t frfeit the game. Jerseys: Each team MUST have tw different jerseys with numbers n the back f each players jersey. Hme is always dark Away is always light/white All jerseys must be the same main clr jersey. Player Stickers Each player is ranked and based n their skills and talent.
