XIV TERRAS do INFANTE - LAGOS dos DESCOBRIMENTOS 1. ORGANIZATION EUROPEAN CUP 1st Stage 2017 REGULATION The Terras do Infante speedskating competition is organized by Roller Clube de Patinagem. It counts on the collaboration of the European Speedskating Comittee C.E.C., of the National Skating Federation of Portugal, the Alentejo Skating Association, with the support of Municipality and São Gonçalo de parish council and also the partnership with several local institutions. It will be the 1 st Stage for the European Cups 2017, in Cadets, Junior B, Junior A and Seniors elite. 2. DATE The event takes place on April 7 th, 8 th and 9 th 2017 - Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, the 10 th, there will be a Clinic for athletes and training session for coaches, at Júlio Dantas School. 3. PLACE The races will be held on the track, with relevê and a perimeter of 200m, with Vescamo floor, situated at Julio Dantas School, in Avenida dos Descobrimentos and on the streets and roads of council. 4. ADDRESSEE The competition is open to all skaters from Benjamins who wish to participate, competing in their respective age group in male and female, over three days of competition. In the competition may participate athletes representing clubs, schools, teams or individually, of any nationality. 5. c)registrations deadline The registrations deadline will be at midnight on the 31st of March 2017. After this date, and upon payment of an extra charge to be determined, it is up for the organization to accept it or not. d) Packages - There are "packages, which include accommodation and meals and should be done and paid separately from the registrations. e) Payment Registrations will only be valid after online payment. 6. DORSALS AND CHIPS Dorsals and chips must be collected from the secretariat of the tournament, located in the sports hall of the Júlio Dantas School, on Friday the 7th, from 10 a.m. onwards, with a deposit or ID, which will be returned at the end of the tournament. 8. RULES The competition is ruled by the present regulation and what could be here omitted shall be ruled by the National Speed Skating Committee of the National Skating Federation of Portugal. 8600-644

CLASSIFICATION To obtain the final classification an Individual Final Ranking will be made. For the Individual Final Ranking will be added the points obtained by each skater, in all races. The assign points for each race are the inverse order of the final classification of the race. The last ranked receives one point, the first gets the number of points equal to the number of participants in the competition. In case of ties in the Individual Final Ranking, the competition that ties it is the last race carried out for all age groups. For the Collective Final Ranking counts the points obtained in the Individual Final Ranking by all athletes of the same club/team/selection. For the European Cup, only for Cadets, Juniors B, Juniors A and Seniors, there will be an individual classification in speed and long distance races. For the speed ranking, will count the races of 300m c / r and 1km; and for the long distance ranking will count the points that the skaters reach in the races of 3/5 Km and 15Km. 8600-644
11. AWARDS a) Awards trophies and / or medals all age groups In the set of all the races in each age group and gender, the Top 3 athletes will be awarded, according to the Individual Final Ranking, with an exception for Seniors Elite, which will be awarded the Top 5, according to the Individual Final Ranking. Awards will be given to the first 10 teams of Final Ranking Panel. Two teams will be awarded, one national (the organization club cannot participate in this award) and a foreign one with the largest number of participating athletes. In European Cup age groups Cadets, Juniors B, Juniors A and Seniors will be given medals to the top 3 athletes of the speed ranking and to the 3 top athletes of the long distance ranking. b) Prize Money to Seniors and Juniors A There will be a Prize Money (in the total amount of 4 000 ) to the 5 top winners in the Individual Final Ranking in Seniors-Elite, both male and female, as well as a trophy each. And a Prize money to the 3 top winners in the Individual Final Ranking in Juniors A, male and female, as well as a trophy each. The record holders of the track of the 300m r / c and Half Marathon events will be rewarded. "!!! 12. ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS The organization indicates accommodation with event partners and offers packages specifying terms for clubs and athletes. It also provides a snack-bar service and meals for Friday (dinner), Saturday (lunch and dinner) and Sunday (lunch) at the place of the competition. 13. But the organization does not accept responsibility for any accidents or for the physical integrity of the athletes in competition, who should have valid sports insurance. 15. COMPLAINS Any complaints or protests must be in writing, addressed to the Chief Referee of the competition, up to 10 minutes after the end of it. 16. OMISSIONS All omitted cases shall be considered and resolved by the organization. 17.
