Items consisted of artwork and treasures that you won't find elsewhere. The live auction items raised $34,815 to benefit both Berner- Garde and the BMDCA Health Fund. This todal included the 29 Golden Tickets that were sold prior to the event. The winner of the Golden Ticket Raffle got to choose and item from the live auction. The Winner was Brian Handy. The Health Auction items were displayed throughout the evening by the lovely Vanna's: Holly Tonero, Melissa George, Carolyn Massey, Heidi Henderson, Dayna Merrow, Christina Reedy, and Linda Layman. The Auction Item that raised the most amount of money of the night was the Hand made Mariners Compass Quilt donated by Kate Elders. This XL King Sized handmade Quilt was auctioned off twice in the evening. The winning bid for this quilt was $5,000. It wa generously donated back to the Health Auction and raised an additional $1,700. Thank you everyone for your donations and thank you to everyone who bid on our items. GOLDEN MOMENTS Patti Finley of Louisville, KY, holds up a picture of her beloved dog Willow (Barcs No More Weeping Willow) during an emotional walk around the ring in the Veterans Parade Thursday at the BMDCA National Specialty in Sturbridge, MA. Patti lost Willow to bloat last Thanksgiving just shy of his 12th birthday. He was 9 months old when she rescued him.
